The latest Snapshot 12” comes from French Artist, Life Recorder AKA; Kriss Kortz, with his original mix of Beyond taking us on a journey with clean crisp percussion and beautifully constructed stabs that melt and transform us into a head bobbing junkie. First on the remix is the machine Kirk Degiorgio, keeping his mix tight and ready for the big floors, concentrating your soul on what we can only describe as hard-boiled funk. The second course is landed on our plate by label head Elliott Dodge, maintaing his raunchy 909 undertones and reverberated stabs, keeping us waving for one more. Detroit born DJ3000 AKA: Frank Juncaj, takes his adaptation of Beyond far into club techno’s sweet harmonious land of uplifting swagger.
