Venezuelan extraordinaire producer Trujillo is back with a new set of sun-injected future nostalgia cuts on Apersonal Music. Street soul and Trip-Hop atmospheres deliciously blended together transports you back to a remote paradisiac beach in the heart of the Venezuelan caribbean coast. Both tracks feature the seductive voice of Colombian Paulo Olarte and a very exclusive appearance from tropical disco maestro Daniel Grau in "Hola Como Estas" on the piano. To complete the journey the flip side runs through the exquisite balearic tool mix of "Everytime I Think Of U" by Norwegian producer Telephones, feeling hypnotic and sophisticated. El Caribe te lo da!

cisco disco - "Jazzy nights" (Andres Vegas stripped remix)
Pair of fresh cuts from Portuguese disco-duo Cisco Cisco on Apersonal Music. Continuing the love saga that started with "If you want me" and later with "Higher" now they uncover two versions of the same single, jazzy days and nights. "Jazzy days" is a laid-down melodic house tune that builds up along soulful voice samples and live percussions, it feels optimistic and refreshing, a perfect track to set things up. On the flip side "Jazzy nights" takes another direction as a disco-rock uplifting tune aiming at later on into the night moments, it grows and grows driven by a synth solo that brings the jazz into the mix, this is Cisco Cisco in their modernist fashion. UK disco connoisseur Ron Basejam (Crazy P) stepped into the release by remixing "Jazzy Days", as usual to an original track level, taking a more straight disco direction. As expected the result is impeccable and works beautifully. On the same duties Apersonal founder Andres Vegas stripped down "Jazzy Nights" added new synths and accelerated the bpm, his remix builds up from a dreamy mellow house track into a melodic space-rocker where the original also stand

Australia is known for its Sydney Opera House, Great Barrier Reef, the vast desert wilderness and unique animal species including kangaroos and duck-billed platypuses; but is also known for its well-crafted music output and deep love for optimistic sensual tunes. This is the case here with the first release of a mysterious project called Ponzu Island, there is absolutely no info available on the artist, so let your ears judge without prejudice. His first effort comes in the form of a 3 track EP including "Super Koto", "Ponzu Beach" and "Ponzu Logic", they sound like if Morgan Geist and Todd Terje took some acid and locked themselves in a room with a sea view, a synth, and a computer. Welcome to Ponzu Island. To complete the EP the label counted with Andras Fox, another Aussie who has already gained much respect for his simply-perfect micro house productions (btw don't miss his live set if you ever have the chance). Andras revisits the track "Super Koto" in the form of an extended mix with a slower bpm and his magic touch here and there. On the flip side Apersonal's local producer Trujillo does his usual thing remixing "Ponzu Logic", closing the EP into a deep and darker territory. By now you will be in the middle in the desert asking yourself how you got there..

Danish deep house talent Paxton Fettel unleashes three disco-infused house cuts through disco specialists Apersonal Music. Fettel joins the family of the label's fine roster of retro-tone music makers backed up with a Jimpster remix. Always in the search of timeless music pieces the Spanish imprint sure found a fine exponent of their unique trippy melodic universe with Fettel's offer on this EP. "She's All Right", "Sundown, as the Beat Gently Skips" and "Tripped Out" make a solid statement of nu-disco editing in a house fashion, new to the artist but with a solid experience on the label's trajectory. To push the boundaries of Fettel's sound no other than high-fi music creator Jimpster to remix "She's All Right", opening a special space for the track on any dance floor filled with raving house lovers.

After successfully releasing the debut of EGYPTIAN NIPPLES (duo act formed by Massimiliano Pagliara and Jules Etienne) with the 5 track EP "BACK BUT HALF" Apersonal Music now reveals the remix pack for the mini-album, commissioning 4 experienced producers seeking to maintain the high quality and old school vibe of the original tracks. It was not easy to keep the high standard set by the beautiful tunes produced by Massi and Jules, but you can be sure that names such as Lauer, Jay Shepheard, Session Victim and Luvless did their homework in the best fashion possible. German producer Lauer (who is no new name in the playground with a bunch of great singles, a highly acclaimed album and lots of remixes on labels as Running Back and Permanent Vacation) selected BACK BUT HALF to remix. Maintaining the old school US vibe of the original track, house music is the name of the game here, and at its best! Jay Shepheard, usual producer on Apersonal, gave a clubby dancefloor twist to the electro gem of BOTTLE OF MINE. It will be hard not to stand up when they drop this one on the dancefloor. Session Victim (Retreat / Delusions Of Grandeur) wisely understood the coastal vibe of the original EP (and album cover) by remixing L.A. MELODY towards a Caribbean taste with a Berlin vibe. Last but not least, Luvless (Rose Records / Razor N Tape) took WEEKEND LOVER and transformed it into a dreamy sound blaster for that special moment in your DJ set. Someone said after party?

Apersonal Music is excited to introduce a very special collaboration between Massimiliano Pagliara and Jules Etienne that goes by the name of Egyptian Nipples. The duo has extensively worked together on various projects and as very good friends it was just a matter of time before Egyptian Nipples was born. The songs on “Back but Half EP” were originally composed and produced by Jules Etienne. Massi then proposed Jules to re-work them and add his additional production. The result is an ode to 80s inspired song writing, analogue grittiness and heavenly melodies. The niddle starts its ride with the piece from which the EP takes its name "Back but Half" - a NYC disco inspired space disco monster with whispery vocals and spacey synth lines. Followed by the darker "Bottle of Mine", taking almost an italo style backing to modern waters, the wall of synthesized sound is just impressive and a perfect match to the dark vocals. Now flip the vinyl... "L.A. Melody" takes a stroll in the proto house camp with syncopated guitar and keys laying a lovely mood of synthesized dance floor mayhem. Next is "Weekend Lover" - aheavy piece of analogue drums and bass, with an almost eerie feeling, a perfect late night, early morning dark room feel to it. And there is hardly a finer way to end an EP than the uplifting mid tempo house chugger that goes by the name of "Monaco".

Mario Basanov, - More for The Less feat. Jeremy Glenn
Lithuanian deep house & disco maestro Mario Basanov drops his debut single “More for the Less” on Apersonal Music with the help from talented Toronto’s local figure Jeremy Glenn ripping it off on the vocals. First single out from Mario after releasing his successful album ‘Journey’, and with the unique touch of a Basanov-Glenn join for this special collaboration. A good feel, boogie monster if there ever was one, “More for the Less” has a definite early 80's prelude feel to it, updated with the immaculate production talent of Mario to a fresh, upfront production keeping the deep end of dance floor happily dancing. First remix comes courtesy of Pablo Bolivar & Maurice Aymard who injects a late 80s house feel to it, giving the vocal more space and keeping the drums tight and in control of the song. 2nd up we have our good friend Michael J Collins, coming out of a long production rest for our enlightenment dropping an ace 90s inspired remix with old school samples, break beats and some good feel to it - this is a perfect end for the night groover. Additionally Mario himself delivers his dub version which takes a more straight approach with sparse vocals, added stabs and a more melodic bass with an acid feeling, focusing more on clubs and the dance floor then the original version.

Trujillo, - You Keep Me
Apersonal Music main artist and Venezuelan club export nr 1, Trujillo delivers another sure-shot EP for us in the form of the Acapulco Gold EP with killer remixes from Ron Basejam and Cosmic Kids."Acapulco Gold" takes off where his latest Apersonal release "Fruit Punch" left, summery vibes but with an emotion so deep you can hear the Caribbean dolphins cry, this truly is Trujillo's best work to date. Ron Basejam from Crazy P transforms Acapulco Gold to a slower mover with quirky vocals and wonderfully funky Rhodes licks, giving way for a bad ass synth line to complement the remix. "You Keep Me" is a sundrenched disco cut with slow evolving synch work and a massive breakdown, a true Trujillo feel good tune. Newcomers Cosmic Kids had massive success with their Throne of Blood release "Reginald's Groove" and they currently remixed The Rapture and Holy Ghost on DFA - so choosing them to touch You Keep was a natural choice and boy do they deliver. Dirty, dark and extremely groovy are the keywords here, pitching the song a few notches and building a solid ground for a breakdown with arpeggiated synth work.

Apersonal Music keeps betting strongly on promoting unknown talents with plenty to offer. Mathieu Clé, a French producer from Montpellier, joins the list of newcomer artists who the label has confidently published; as earlier did with Trujillo, Cisco Cisco and Volta Cab. 4 original tracks and edits for the Spanish imprint eights effort on vinyl, a fusion of 80's funk & disco samples edited and scrambled up with modern nudisco/house beats in a rather underground manner. The result is an energetic raw sound that make you feel like taken back in time to when all this dance-floor madness started to happen.

Teej now amazes us once more with 2 high caliber bombs for the season, ‘Fame’ and ‘City Celebrity’, long and elaborated disco-tech tracks that wont let down his fans nor the audience looking for strong and complex slowmo nudisco & tech-house
music. Completing the release with the remix from Cisco Cisco (labels usuals) to ‘Fame’ with a sound stronger and more aggressive than what we are used to the Portuguese duo, but with out loosing their dreamy-disco characteristic sound. More

Cisco Cisco reappears on the Spanish label Apersonal Music with more nudisco quality from the Portuguese duo. 2 original tracks, ‘Higher’ the perfect weapon for the techydisco lovers and ‘Brothers in Arms’ freshing up the release with an enchanting laid-down groove. A solid offer that reaffirms the promising relationship between this rising artist and Apersonal, under which they debuted last year. Apersonal always has excellent offers on the remix department. So its no surprise to see names as Greg Wilson on their catalog, a producer regarded as one of the most important figures on the UK dance scene. Remixing ‘Higher’ he gives a different edge and tempo to the EP, with a faster version for the “higher” times.

With its first 4 singles the Spanish label Apersonal Music made its way rapidly into the highlights of the modern nudisco scene. On its 5th effort they release their first all original tracks EP betting hard on the dynamic and innovative melodies of Volta Cab, a young producer from the Russian city of Ulyanovsk. Volta Cab´s music is strongly influenced by the 80s sound and pop-culture. For Apersonal´s 5th Volta Cab delivers 4 original & unique tracks which gives form to this very musical and personal EP. Standing out is the main single of the EP “Why You Come Back Here” on which Volta Cab´s original vocals play along with catchy elements of disco and soul wich he masters with his unique style. Feels like Starsky & Hutch on acid.

Fresh beats delivered directly from the caribbean by Venezuelan producer Trujillo on his latest appearance on the Spanish-Venezuelan label Apersonal Music. Trujillo?s ability to make you feel caught up in an eternal summer vibe gets clearer and stronger with every track he releases. On this release main single ?Fruit Punch? is simplicity at its best, squeezing the most out of basic classic-house elements. It builds up slowly until the original guitar tunes in, thats when you take a sip of your Fruit Punch (or whatever sweet drink comes handy) and enjoy the sea breeze in your face (whether its there or not..). For the extra flavor on your drink they pour an edit-format track ?Looking Up Through You?. Lots of original ingredients here enough to make this edit an own piece of music; Venezuelan keyboard player Mister Casanova on board plus Trujillo mixing it all up in his best poolside bar style. Fresh juicy punched stuff here! On the remix department 2 remix versions from UK based producer Toby Tobias plus a classy fashioned remix from Canadian Eddie C. Tobias is a hard working man, and when you ask him for one he hits you twice, hard to pick one remix although one had to be selected for digital only release (size matters some time!). What can we say about Eddie C.. Apersonal had already made a statement that they love classic grooves, and it cant get classier than Eddie?s beats on his remix! this groove is what house music is all about, and it will always be.
