KILLEKILL 009 comes from ALEX CORTEX again. A techno personality that shouldn’t need no introduction. We are happy and proud to release some of his vintage material recorded in the years 1998-2000, raw and substantial. With FUTURE ACID the A-Side features a bomb acid track recorded live at the legendary HD800 club in Mannheim, which displays the raw power of Alex’ live sets. The B-Side features R-BYTE, a minimalistic Chicago-style stomper and MEM, a hood-like abstract and minimalistic techno piece.

Repress!
German techno champ Alex Cortex hasn't released an album since 2011's Kihon on Pomelo, but the prolific and long-serving artist is rarely resting on his laurels. Having released just one other EP from Lowtec, Blundar now presents a new untitled LP from Cortex that should satisfy fans of his leftfield approach to techno in all its forms. "Track 2" is a masterclass in how to work breakbeats into techno without sounding forced or false, while "Track 4" blooms from delicate ambience to snagging broken beat with the grace you can only find with such a seasoned vet. Spanning many moods, tempos and rhythms, this is a perfect demonstration of the many engrossing approaches Cortex can attempt and succeed at within the many-sided realm of techno. More

vanta 004 comes from Alex Cortex, an artist who has been producing music for over 20 years now and who has been featured on many Killekill releases already. For this release he delivers two monumental tracks in his very own aesthetics: although both tracks are straight at first sight, their complex beat structure makes them shift and drift. And also their sound is distinctive: crystal clear and without any of the reverbs that you hear so often in modern techno they still have an incredible depth and sound more psychedelic than most of the other stuff that you hear nowadays. Killer!

Alex Cortex delivering the heat!! Mr Cortex is kicking hard with a direct and mental techno tracks! Oscillon, A1, is a bleepy affair, direct and repetitive, but please, play it loud and watch. Rheometric is in the same alley as Oscillon but bringing the bleeps and glitches trip even more in your face. Combined with the fat but quirky bassline, it does the peak time techno thing extremely well. B1's title "Shear Wave" does the track justice. Backed by a fat downtempo beat, the distorted 303-reminiscent synth line cuts through the mix in a way that's impossible to ignore. Strain Rate Tensor rounds up the previous three cuts, also in a very dancefloor-friendly manner. Bubbly main lead and anxiety-inducing pad sneaking in the background seem to be the main thing, until another synth hits you as a counterpoint and flips everything upside down. Proper no-nonsens stuff!! (comes on 180grams vinyl)

No specific rules have been set as to musical styles, very much alike the diversity ALEX CORTEX is known and respected for. The thread holding it all together is authenticity.

Legendary techno rebel Alex Cortex joins TRUST for an EP that wears his nonconformist creed proudly on its sleeve. 'We Run Your Life' takes center stage here, a massive electro banger and electronic warfare anthem for a dystopian future, its programmatic vocals striking a fitting resemblance to UR's most political output. Bouncy beat experiment 'Foam Rubber Landscaping' and dizzily spiralling 'Memory Overload' complete this triptych of techno rebellion. First release in TRUST's new 'Covert Systems' series, limited quantity.

KILLEKILL herewith announces the start of a sub label focussing the housier side of what we like. KILLEKILL HOUSE TRAX starts with the release of a great track by ALEX CORTEX. Quite uptempo but groovy as hell “Oh Yeah” comes along with a strong reminiscence to classic chicago house with its strong bassline and the catchy vocal sample. TYREE COOPER added a simple but well working piano and packed the original into an even more classic outfit.

15 years have passed since Alex Cortex began to create his own vision of electronic music - timeless and beyond trends, without a buzz or hype, steadily winning the following of DJs and home-listeners, collectors and critics worldwide. His style can be described as unpredictable to a certain point, while maintaining high aesthetic standards; playful with quotes and references, always low-key and focused on psychedelic immersion into sound
that shifts the attention from the artist to the music. 'Kihon' is a very personal effort, as suggested by the self-portrait on the cover that puts ear, eye, and mouth -reception and production- into context. The carefully elaborated design of this gatefold double LP speaks as a whole and in true minimalist fashion about the passing of time, without ever declaring nostalgia to be a means for itself. This also reflects in the music. Alex Cortex evades large gestures and obvious quotes, but is certainly conscious of locating his album within a framework of references to other works of electronic music that are important for his own musical evolution. In 11 nameless tracks, 'Kihon' takes us on a journey through organic worlds of sound that invites us to flow with the music and connect with the feelings contained in it. The title 'Kihon' that relates to Japanese martial arts translates to 'basics' or 'fundamentals', the training of which does not even cease when reaching master grades. Those basics that are passed on beyond time are also the foundation of this album. By concentrating on the bare essentials, the music begins to speak, turning the album into a harmonic whole. 'Kihon' therefore is also a return to
listening, away from a utilitarian perception of music as a background sound. This does not mean it would not work perfectly well in a club context -in the right hands it indeed does- but more notably, 'Kihon' is a work of art worth your attention and destined to stand the test of time.

Alex Cortex´ “Unshell” is the follow up to his acclaimed “I Won´t Conform” (POM22) and the foretaste for his upcoming album which is going to be released on Pomelo this coming fall. “Unshell” features 4 modern dancefloor tracks in best Cortex style, characterized by tight rhythmic structures and a unique and irrestistible hypnotic power. From deep stumbling house grooves with piano stabs and a male vocal admiring´Your sexy moves´ and a Chicago Jacker with a repetitive voice on the A Side, to athmospheric dark techno with warped sound effects and breakbeat house layered with modulating 8-bit sounds on the flip, this record shows once more Alex Cortex´ skills to move off the beaten tracks in his very own style.

KILLEKILL002 comes from ALEX CORTEX solo. The A side track “TACKLE” is an old school minimalistic loop techno track with a weird bleepy melody inside. Made for the late hours on big PAs. B1 track “BEACH BASS” is the hit of this record: a deep house number with a bassline that hits your heart immediately and makes you smile and want to dance. A house hit as it should be! B2 “BOING BOING” is an uncommon, strange electro track that rounds up this ep and shows the wide range of styles that can be expected from this label. ALEX CORTEX has been releasing electronic music of all kinds since 1996 on labels like Source Records, Kanzleramt, Klang Elektronik, Pomelo, Platzhirsch and many more.

Minimum Syndicat (also known as MS or M-Syndicat) are two musicians from Paris who have been making electronic noise and live performances for decades. They are known for their very unique mix of acid, rave and industrial on the one hand and cinematic, psychedelic, sci-fi landscapes on the other.
S.C.H.O.R.L. is their first full length album. Like some kind of bleak space opera it tells its story of lonely subaquatic outposts, Soviet droids and mantis-priests gathering.
The core is spaced out electro, but it also has elements of techno, doomcore, breakbeat and industrial, one could say. ''At this point subgenres are less important than in the past, it's more like the alternative electronic scene against the industry turning techno into moronic money-driven entertainment.'', they say, and right they are.
The album features two collaborations with French heavyweights Umwelt and Voiron, the artwork comes from the legendary Belgian artist Elzo Durt, who made some of our strongest artworks in the past and who is a fan of Minimum Syndicat himself. The 2x12'' is limited to 100 copies, hand numbered and comes with a silk-screen A2 poster with aversion of the
artwork.
MS will also be releasing a special series of digital releases called ''Mutant Signal'' on their own label. More

Berlin-based artist Werner Soyeaux under his stage name Black Davil is a core part of the Berlin collective Ick Mach Welle. Schnall Schnall is his debut solo artist EP on Killekill, with own productions accompanied by collaborations with Bettina and DJ Normal 4, alongside remixes by Rhyw and Gesloten Cirkel.
The EP opens with the dark intro Alptraum, which Gesloten Cirkel transforms into an ill-tempered acid-electro monster. The title track Schnall Schnall provides a stark contrast to these, with bright overtones existing alongside deeply rooted sonic bedrock.
Rhyw adds a level of abstraction and futurism with his remix of this track, whilst retaining the dub-influenced vibe of the original.
Following on from this Geldschere is collaboration with Dusseldorf artist DJ Normal 4, with Black Davil contributing his own lyrics and voice, to create a track that could be fittingly described as "Acid Punk Rock"!
The final track on the release is a cheeky ode to the Ick Mach Welle family. Here the Davil's passion for Hardtekk, Gabber and similar rough styles of music become clear. More

Sales Note
Wellen.Brecher is an inclusive band that emerged from the Killekill's Berlin-based project Ick Mach Welle. It consists of Werner Soyeaux aka Black Davil, Uwe Locati aka DJ Locati, Dave Senan aka Senator and Hanni Kusch, a member of the German punk band Pisse.
After a very busy year 2022 with touring, the band are ready to bring you their debut EP "Hitmaschine". Included on the release is "Lasst Uns Feiern", the band's "Anthem", a banging rave influenced mega-hit that manages to hit-hard and deep while keeping the overall vibe happy and fun. For his remix, The Hacker radically cuts things back while adding a hefty portion of 90s hardcore to deliver you another "hit".
On the B side, band member DJ Locati strikes sonorous notes with his vocals, spread over a base of hypnotic acid trance and progressively developing into a deep dive down into a rave tunnel. Rounding out the record is a guest appearance by the band 21Downbeat. Their reinterpretation of Wellen.Brecher's Tierisch Verboten (which was released as the opener of the "Superbrains" compilation on Killekill) brings a healthy dose of smashing newwave to the proceedings.
Finally, as a digital bonus track, Furfriend goes one even further with a gritty techno remix of Brummbar. More

Killekill catalogue number 025 is a jubilee release: It's KILLEKILL MEGAHITS II !! But it's not only a jubilee release. It's also milestone and turning point in the Killekill history, because with this release Killekill closes one chapter, and opens up another. We are constantly getting too many demos full with good music in way too many different styles to squeeze them onto one label. So finally we have come to the point where we will start a line of new labels with different profiles to give ourselves the opportunity to feature even more daring artists and release whatever we like in the most suitable outfit for it. So far, there is this compilation, which has been carefully compiled for your pleasure. Label regulars such as Cassegrain & Tin Man, Furfriend, Alex Cortex or Eomac have delivered high quality stuff of all kinds, but we are also introducing a lot of artists who will feature on the coming labels: Umwelt with his epic and dramatic electro, who will release an album with us later in 2016, Dez Williams with his genre-crossing sound which works on every dance floor plus Power Vacuum's Bintus who delivers his portion of electro/acid madness on Record 1.
Record 2 features the legendary Detroit Grand Pubahs, who present their electro outfit Techmarine Bottom Feeders, The Fool's Stone, which is a new project by Hard Ton, electro legend Adriano Canzian and italian queer artist Brigida plus London's underground hero Jerome Hill, who lets it jack and roll with his Memory Machine.
On Record 3 Kamikaze Space Programme surprises with some bell-driven percussive techno and what can we say? It is with great pride that we include the acid techno epos by none other than the legendary 'Prince of Techno' Blake Baxter. This compilation is a trip through a big musical universe. Enjoy!

Following EOMAC’s debut album “Spectre” on Killekill, released earlier this year, here come remixes of the three most outstanding track sof the album.
TOMMY FOUR SEVEN picked the title track SPECTRE, taking away some of the dense texture of the original, speeding it up a bit and adding some straight-forward percussion to turn the original into a big anthem for the mellow moments on the dancefloor. Lars Stöwe aka Anstam is using his ANNO STAMM-alias to rip the distorted bassline of the grimey SU RIDDIM out and add some playful bassline variations and some serious 808 business to it to turn it into a peaktime banger with lots of chicago flavour. AnD do what they do best and turn SHELL OF DARK into a half-tempo stomper that after a while breaks up to a devastating weapon of distorted drums and melodies.

Killekill 017 by Neil Landstrumm is a three tracker with no less than three hits on it. The A-Side is a dark slammer about someone trading his ass for drugs in a new acid / disco / synthwave / techno fusion style with an undisputed Chicago flavour in it. What a hit! B1 is the result of a collaboration of Neil with Jd Twitch under the name Doubleheart, under which they also released on Nonplus and other labels. “Outsider music aimed at the dancefloor”, as they put it, and that pretty much hits the nail on the head: nice electro beats, a wobbling bass, and all sorts of freaky sounds on top of it, from classic cowbells to whistles, squeaks and other weird stuff. And all this without ever losing the drive to rock the dancefloor. B2 again was an intial collaboration between Neil and Ralph Cumbers who produces a UK project called ‘Bass Clef’ and has released some high quality, left of field club productions over the years on the Punk Drunk and Blank Tapes labels. He is also an extremely gifted trombone player and frequently plays this at live shows along with Theremin and bass heavy garagey beat style.. They produced a few tracks together and this one stood out as glam rock/synth wave production. Then Lewis Maccoll alias Operator, who recorded Scandinavia 022, was asked to write song lyrics and sing vocals over the original track. Lewis has a unique layering style of vocal production and his dark story of the deep and passive souls enhanced the song immensely and broadened its appeal to a much wider audience. Its a fresh style electronic style for 2014 very fitting to the alternative Killekill label approach.

CASSEGRAIN & TIN MAN are a deadly combination. Old school acid lines programmed by one of the greatest masters in this field meet a super modern techno sound design by Cassegrain, who have made themselves a name in the last years for producing some of the finest in dark and experimental techno. For the follow up to their debut release on KILLEKILL they have put together three tracks that are outstand- ing. HIGH & LOW is a slowly swelling minimalistic acid epos of over 10 minutes length which proves the mas- tership of Tin Man in programming acid loops of eternal quality. 8 beats length only, but constantly evolving. No chance for boredom. The B-side starts with SEX KIT, a dark acid stomper with a chirping percussion which is well suitable for the peaktime dancefloor, followed by SAND MAZE, a sublte minimalistic ambient acid piece, that winds its way into total dissolution. We are quite sure that this is the way acid should sound in 2013.

FURFRIEND is everything you never dared to sex about. From the depths of warm and tight cavities come the two fuck pets DINGO TUSH (vocals) and DAS UBERDOG (production) be it the pleasures of gay circuit life or the sweet feel of sheep in their best years – FURFRIEND covers it all and more. The techno duo doesn't know their origin exactly – their memories go back to dark but also jolly times at an animal shelter in antwerp where they were kept until MUM, their recently deceased fostermother picked them up, to have them join her 21 other pets. It was a hard childhood, not even knowing what type of mam- mal you were, but the toughest part was being relentlessly used by ´MUM ´as a sex slave, having to fulfill all her sexual desires in order to get a bit of food. Then the confusion that arose when MUM was killed having sex with her oldest aquisition ‘Bob’ the german shepherd who couldn't take it anymore and ate her face – the poor guy was put down right in front of their face. Now, being freed from the clutch of MUM Furfriend look into the bright future of being popstars, know- ing this is what they were born to do. DAS UBERDOG has been listening to MUMs records on headphones ever since he found the power switch for the stereo – it was clear back then he would become an awesome producer. DINGO TUSH, the singer of the duo, howled the melody of `my favourite things ´when MUM was watching her favourite show: ‘The sound of music‘ – they were clearly bound to become a music production team. It just had to happen even- tually. These times are long past now, but they have left a mark on their souls which they heartbreakingly sing about in songs like ‘GECK’ ‘FIST FUCK’ or ‘SHEPHERD’ which relates to the tough life, herding sheep just after MUM had passed away. Originally based in Antwerp the duo has now made a move for berlin. “Antwerp was just not the right place for us. As much perversion as there is in belgium, it is the people of Berlin we love for the open sexual deviance present all over Berlin We think this is the right breeding ground (haha) for our art.” says DINGO TUSH, the band ´s cockslinging singer. Techno just has a different meaning here – everybody does it, spit in a corner, and you’ll hit a dj! This is perfect for us because it shows what people really want. and we are here to give it to them.” adds DAS UBERDOG, the musical genius behind the furfriend productions.

KILLEKILL 012 is being delivered by Dubliner EOMAC, aka Ian McDonnell, aka half of LAKKER, who has proven himself as one producer to watch. His sound design is extreme and unique. He creates dense atmospheres and fills them with subtle melodic elements, that are being pushed forward by heavy basslines and markable kick drums. With club play by no less than Aphex Twin, EOMAC is a name that is on the verge of exploding onto the scene. The title track SPOOCK is a killer of a techno track, that will literally destroy all dancefloors with its mental kickdrum and psyched out melody. A2 STYLISED & DESENSITISED is the track that has been played out by Aphex Twin. With its dark atmo- sphere and the subtle groove it develops its abstract appeal. The B-side starts with a remix of SPOOCK by Stroboscopic Artefacts label boss LUCY who took away some of the aggressiveness of the original and focussed on the deeper side of the track to turn it into an almost 9 min long techno epos. B2 track NO NAME is a deep, bass driven masterpiece of abstract dance music. It shows the introverted side of EOMAC and therewith gives the EP what it needs to make it an outstanding, typical KILLEKILL release.

BILL YOUNGMAN has become one of the most important parts of the KILLEKILL family. His new record displays his wide range of interests: from dark techno in SHADENT he crosses over to drone monster alert in WESPE to his very own style of melodic electro in CENTRUMCIRCUIT.
Go, Bill!
About Bill Youngman:
Scandinavia, Tresor, Null etc., Bill has from day one been producing a lot of excellent other stuff. For exam- ple, he released one album of the finest electronica on DEPTH CHARGE’s DC Recordings under the alias AUDIBLE, several great EPs of electro on Serotonin and recently remixed JAMIE LIDELL in a rather techy dubstep style for Warp. Bill doesn’t follow trends and dislikes being categorized into one stale genre and so perfectly fits into the KILLEKILL master plan. Expect several EPs from him on KILLEKILL in the future. Bill will furthermore attempt to push the threshold of modern electronic music productio More

With catalog number 006 another techno legend joins the KILLEKILL family. NEIL LANDSTRUMM is with no doubt one of the big heroes of techno. With several albums and uncount- able singles released on renowned labels like Tresor, Peacefrog and Planet ?, he has definitely written techno history. And this does not even count in his own label Scandinavia, which released music of high prolific techno artists such as Cristian Vogel, Tobias Schmidt, Adam X and many more. Although having produced his first records in the early nineties NEIL LANDSTRUMM is in no way an old school producer! He has produced a few top notch dubstep records in the last years (released on planet ?) and is just now being one of the producers pushing the boundaries of the post dubstep UK Bass sound and is also being featured on the NONPLUS label being run by no one else but BODDIKA. For KILLEKILL NEIL LANDSTRUMM has delivered a handful of tracks which combine his typical dirty techno sound with the aesthetics of UK Bass. Extremely funky and with a big drop of acid they cross over electro, techno and even hip hop and therewith fit perfectly to the sound of our label. The co-production of weirdo mastermind SI BEGG on ?Touch it? just adds the icing on the cake.
