Passionate about techno music as a shamanistic medium, TUNNEL is an electronic music group focused solely on evoking an inward journey through inspired, sonically complex electronic music. Vivid, poly-rhythmic techno becomes the medium through which TUNNEL unfold their vision of self, unity, and possibility. The ENTER ep marks their debut. With their A-side, Moment of Introspection and Through the Noise Field, TUNNEL creates two peak hour Berghain-inspired techno tracks built around layered synths, tense builds, and driving rhythms. With thoughtful breaks and sonic twists, they combine a sensitivity to the needs of the DJ to inspire a moment. The intensity of the tracks derives from TUNNEL's signature sound, sustained atmospheric builds derived from singing bowls and other instruments used in world meditation practice. The result is a hard-edged drive towards a mind-altering dancefloor experience. The B-side includes two remixes of Through the Noise Field by veteran producers Steve Stoll (Proper NYC) and Chance McDermott. Steve Stoll's remix hooks the listener with its driving, thick percussion and melodic loop from the original. It sits perfectly in a peak-hour techno set. Chance McDermott's message to the masses, DANCE!. His playful, club-friendly workout inspires the wall-flowers to get on the floor with catchy electro-inspired melodic hooks and Detroit-focused synth bass.

Another great release on etichetta nera, this time is the Toronto master greg gow. Already on top labels such as Transmat and his own Restructured greg give us a track that came from the idea of blending detroit sounds with house and giving the track a good warm feeling with a nice groove. On the remixes Francesco Bonora & Mirko remodel the track in their techno mood while Corrugated Tunnel version is more detroitish house. Edwin was an instant fan of the original so he want to his remix a brand new feel with a laid back summer feel

Well known for his releases on top label as Djax Up Beats, Majesty Recordings, Tresor and Bush just to name a few Mike can be considered a major figure of the Chicagoan scene, without a doubt.
