With their A-side, Moment of Introspection and Through the Noise Field, TUNNEL creates two peak hour Berghain-inspired techno tracks built around layered synths, tense builds, and driving rhythms. With thoughtful breaks and sonic twists, they combine a sensitivity to the needs of the DJ to inspire a moment. The intensity of the tracks derives from TUNNEL's signature sound, sustained atmospheric builds derived from singing bowls and other instruments used in world meditation practice. Another great release on etichetta nera, this time is the Toronto master greg gow. Already on top labels such as Transmat and his own Restructured greg give us a track that came from the idea of blending detroit sounds with house and giving the track a good warm feeling with a nice groove. On the remixes Francesco Bonora & Mirko remodel the track in their techno mood while Corrugated Tunnel version is more detroitish house.
