Alleviated Records is proud to present the re-issue of the "LooseFingers" EP and to introduce [or re-introduce for some] the original name that Larry recorded under before it was modified to Mr. Fingers in 1985. This EP contains 3 great selections. First the romantic and soothing mid-tempo "Glancing At the Moon." If you enjoyed selections like "What About This Love" or "Children at Play" from Larry, this will most likely be to your liking. Next up, "Lamentation" a more experimental and tracky kind of tune that should provide an enjoyable experience for DJ's and people who like harder dance flavors. The "B" side gives us "Deep Inside." Known for his classic early house releases Larry Heard's productions always hinted at deepest outer space, but his 1996 Alien album was his first actual science-fiction record. It's almost as polished as the most mainstream dance production, but just as sublime as any Detroit producer. Heard's house roots often show themselves, while the chords and shimmering production make this an album almost on par with Heard's mid-'80s peak. The project was a recording & sound-development experiment that was mostly constructed around a Korg O1/W workstation keyboard that was left at Larry's studio to check out by Victor “melodious myles” Houston along with some of the staples of his studio, including the Roland d550 and Oberheim Matrix 1000. Mr Fingers magic touch can be heard all over the album, and this showcases the incredible musical talents of the man, who's name by now cant be left out from any hall of fame when you're talking music innovators from the last century! Recommended!

Lost recordings by Juan Atkins! During the early 90’s and the heady times of dance music many recordings – mixes etc were either lost or did not surface. Recently unearthed from a time capsule are three unreleased tracks from the master creator of Techno Juan Atkins – all Juan’s trade marks are here from the driving Oh La la to the of the wall Electric Jungle and the minimal Impulse... Three tracks that translated the restless musical developments from that era into musical outings from Juan Atkins as we havent heard from him before, capturing the ''zeitgeist'' and fusing outside influences with his trademark Atkins sound. Very interesting document from the archives of Black Market records!

Black Market records from London was without a doubt one of the influential labels in the early nineties with several great releases and a blooming store in SoHo. We are happy to see that some of their classic releases will be made are available again! First in a series of Classic re-issues from their archives includes the amazing De-Lite Wild Times remix by Derrick May! Arguable one of his best remixes he ever did.. and still able to touch the hearts! On the flip a piece of classic house music by Desiya that ruled the dance floors for months in a row (No1 in the Billboard dance chart!). a Nice document of tunes that influence many.
