Telonius will release his debut album on Gomma in the end of August. And seems there is quite a buzz about it already. The last Telonius single 'Old Toy' got props from people like Kolombo, The Magician, Tensnake, Maxxi Soundsystem, Andre Crom, Zombie Disco Squad and we are quite sure that this next single will get even better feedback.This track is quite special. The sound is not comparable to most of the common house tracks around at the moment. This is not made with the standard sound library. It sounds much finer. With well chosen instrumentation. A deep funky bassline with a pushy, straight rolling beat is the fundament to some beautiful flutes and strings and some melancholic vocals. It's house, but it's more. Disco, New wave? The single comes with 2 remixes by Berlin top dog Tigerskin and Audiojack's partner Nolan.

Gomma has been releasing new kinds of House inspired music since 2005. Trying never to be too obvious, cheesy, but adding a unique approach to the music by strictly avoiding clishees. The new Telonius single is no exception to this philosophy: After his last year's hits (Now / Control) Jonas Imbery aka Telonius now shows his production skills again. This is electronic production on a very high level. With quite unusual sounds and very complex instrumentation Telonius created a song that works equally at peaktime on an advanced dancefloor as on electronic pop radio charts. It's the first release of the upcoming Telonius album. (Release Aug 2013). And you can be sure that there is some more hot stuff to come. Remixes come courtesy of two Italians: Upcoming producer Ricardo Baez and Stefano Ritteri - who has been releasing stuff as SOLO on Dirtybird, Exploited and Sound Pellegrino.

New York House maestro JACQUES RENAULT is a old friend of the Gomma boys. Playing a lot of the German label's releases. While having a few bottles of fine red wine at a party in Rome recently with Gomma's Mr. Munk - they had this idea to make a special mix collage of old and new Gomma tracks. Showing the old Gomma 12inches, that were so ahead of it's time when they came out and still sound fresh. Mixing it with the new, upcoming Gomma stuff. Jacques Renault took 15 tracks. Edited them and created this 80 minutes non stop Gomma voyage. Here's the A 4-track vinyl sampler with a collection of out-of-print and never released tracks including Mercury's "Man", the classic Chicken Lips remix for Headman's "It Rough" and two exclusive Jacques Renault cuts that have never been released on vinyl.
