One of the most gifted sexy deep house producers coming out of Greece these days is 9 West and Nite Grooves is proud to announce the release of his debut EP on the label. Kostas Tikis, as he's known to friends and family, submits four delectable groovy tracks coming off "What's On Your Mind EP" They all have a bit of a charming, hypnotically appealing feel, some lo-fi, and retain a warm 4/4 that we all love so much. Lovely, pumpy, and deep without being sleepy. Klik Records is proud to welcome a new addition to it's roster, 9West. The 9West project made its first steps back in 1998 in Thessaloniki, Greece, by two music lovers above all, Tikis and George. They Both love the deeper side of things with many jazz and soul elements, maintaining a raw and kicking sound. Their free of crippling nostalgia music wins you over with consistency, tension, and dynamics as well as a sensibility, one would usually expect from house music. 9West pursues an unexacting fusion of quantum jumps and tradition - including effortless melodies and hook lines. Counting more than 45 releases so far on labels such as Dessous, King Street, Liebe*Detail etc and continuous appearances in Europe, US and South America, their full length album "Heart Shaped Moon" is due for release on early 2015 while their first ep coming from it "Decay Ep" including remixes by David Durango and Fog will be digitally released the first days of December.

By now Dazzle Drums and Nite Grooves are old friends. This being their 5th release on the label, the beat goes on and carries us with it. 'Gypsyman' turns out an organic bent out of shape (we didn't say warped!), percussive, almost dubby, instrumental delight. This is one of the definite moods one would hear at say, The Shelter. It's got that kind of clubby rhythmic organic vibe. Call it what you will; We call it hot. 'Tokyo Deep' that follows is a more upbeat instrumental full of synth Moog sounds and overflowing washes. Very car chase or early 80's Stalk-You Cinema, catch the drama while you can!

Each track sounds like it comes from four different corners of house music, but all strike in unison to create a patchwork sound that could only be Tiger Stripes.
