Archive Records for its 15th years anniversary decided to celebrate properly with a compilation entitled The Crystal Collection. It displays some of the works from the label and its artists that go mostly from 1999 to 2004. Not necessarily the most popular tracks from the catalogue, but a selection we strongly believe has to be heard in 2014!During this period the label developed the work of artists like Domu and Nubian Mindz with various singles and albums as well as releasing one off projects from the likes of Dego, Theo Parrish, Marc Mac, Kirk De Giorgio, Alex Attias, Modaji, King Britt, Paradox, Future Beat Alliance, various Bugz in the Attic members till the more recent Phil Asher full lengths ‘Phlash and friends’ and ‘House Phillerz’. Archive made its mark for its futuristic yet soulful edge, and here you can hear why!All tracks have been carefully re-mastered, and the selection include few unreleased/special edits/surprises.

PHIL ASHER is back again with his PHLASH project for Archive records and this is the second ep taken from his HOUSE PHILLERZ album.VAPORIZE is a monster track where Phil teams up with Mark Force for something completely unique and twisted, a deadly acid track already championed by connoisseurs like dj Deep. DEEP BEAT is pure rawness and ALL I WANT sees again Phil collaborate with Mark de Clive Lowe for one otheir lovely deep late night dancefloor heaters. Watch out for the full album in the next months....

Archive and Discograph have got together in order to deliver the “Deep Electronic Sound” on vinyl, previously released only on CD. 2009 has been a busy year for PHLASH aka PHIL ASHER who nipped over to the States to host his WMC party and who has found great support from top DJ’s including Vega, Gilles Peterson, Benji B, Kev Beadle, Kenny Dope, Tony Humphries, Spinna, Krivit and many more. The whole record has been heavily pushed so far by a wide range of djs and scenes due to its unique fusion of electronics, house and soul! (Watch out for a new Phlash 12” on Archive soon in the winter, featuring unreleased extended mixes of Jungle Orchidz [featuring Lady Alma] and Minefield [featuring Dego].)
