William Kouam Djoko returns to Voyage Direct with Deflourished. After a year with a lot of high highs and some deep lows, William found himself on the dance floor listening to a set by Chicago Footwork specialists DJ Rashad & DJ Spinn. William experienced what religious people might call a divine moment. All the experiences, emotions and soul searching from the previous year came together in one emotional, energetic moment. William tried to recapture all of this in his studio the next day and within hours Deflourished was created. A pure form of energy shared by William for everyone to enjoy, hopefully as much as he enjoyed creating it. B-side Behind Closed Doors completes the package; a lot more subtle and refined than it's A-side brother. A synth-heavy, down-pitched and outstretched song that builds heavily on space, both physical and mentally. On his Sophomore Voyage Direct release William Kouam Djoko truly sets out on a voyage to discover his inner-self. The result, whether it's the expressive energy of Deflourished, or the more mesmerising gloominess of Behind Closed Doors, is beautiful to say the least. Thirtyonetwenty – the international dialling code for Amsterdam – is the city’s hot Tech-House imprint co-founded by Sandy Huner and Dave Ellesmere in 2007, now run solely by Sandy. For Thirtyonetwentys next strike we welcome Chube.Ka & Frankie Dep! Chube.Ka born in the second half of the eighties in Italy. Crazy about music, he took to mixing at friends’ parties by the age of 14 and created such a great party vibe he soon was old enough to accept several DJ residencies. From there a love for house music blossomed and he began experimenting with his own productions. Frankie Dep, born in the south of Italy in 1987, Francesco de Paola never intended to end up as a DJ/producer. He graduated in biomedical engineering. But his love for music, fuelled by the presence of musicians in his family, eventually led him to be a regular presence in the Turin clubbing scene. He also started producing, releasing his first EP in 2012. His style moves on the verge of old skool and new skool, and does so perfectly. 2nd Sequel aka Alessandro Coletta from Verona Italy, is a very talented,young, new generation producer. Highly inspired by artists such as Trentemoller and Art Department, he started producing in 2010 when only 17 years old. His sound is a perfect balance between Deep-House and new school Electronica. Be prepared to be blown away!!
