Altered Natives has been making some noise this last year, with his underground smash ‘Raas Out’, followed by a remix for Hyperdub and a release on Martyns, 3024 label. Other releases and remixes have followed, including the album’s ‘Tenement Yard Vol 1’ and ‘Serial Vendetta’ on his own eye4eye inprint. ‘The Tenement Yard Vol 1’ are a series of experiments that were conducted in Native’s Norf Lungdon Laboratory in 2009 fusing house, techno and dubstep combined with Natives unique production talents. Here we have Part 2 of 2 Part Vinyl sampler from the album, that’s caught press and DJS attention such as, Kode9, Martyn and Paul Woolford to name a few. “Ok, "Restless Native" was inspired by my big brother and longtime supporter Phill Asher of restless soul. We have said for years about we should do a Collab called Restless Natives inspired from the saying "the natives are restless". Well this isnt it. haha!”. “"In My House" self explanatory "this is my house, this is my house, this is my house, this is my house, this is my house, this is my house..." Mi casa su casa”. “God Made Me" this is my party favorite, it has never failed me. To quote Fact Magazine "A bafflingly underused device in dance music, the “woop!”. You’d think that would be enough, but no, another minute later and he pitches the track further into furious joy and techno scenes. This will be just as at home (and as powerful) alongside a Claude VonStroke record as it will next to the latest Roska."
