For our 21st installment Soweso fellow label head Lauhaus brings his solo debut on Soweso. Consisting of three tracks, the Port Of Call Ep showcases his distinctive groove and an ever evolving sound. The title track is a haunting and driving affair with loads of atmosphere and punch. Laden
with many different layers and sounds, it’s a trip that will take you away and bring you back home safe. “Collectify” is a typical Lauhaus groove that is made for the club. It’s a dark and bass heavy beat with basic melodies that gives this hip hop influenced track it’s appeal and personality. Third one on offer is "Lapwing", a straightforward dj tool to play with. Funky rhythms, a little bassline and a deep chord sound is all you need here. On remix duties is UK’s Brodanse and they took “Port Of Call” into a whole new direction. By taking the elements of the original and making them their own, they created a dance floor banger that will make it’s impact.
