One sided 12" featuring an epic Sascha Dive remix, on Melon's Ratio? imprint.. Melon’s original version of “Money” has been saved for his forthcoming debut album. In the meantime Sascha Dive (Deep Vibes Recordings) already delivered a 15 minutes long rework, that is a pure trip into deepness and can’t be kept a secret for the world much longer

melon - Air (Gui Boratto Remix)
When an 8 year old kid asks for a drum machine and Atari 500 computer with the intention of starting his own band, you know his future does not lie anywhere but in music. Introducing: Jeroen Hofer aka Melon. Not your average human being. Something that becomes obvious the second he enters the room – a beaming, larger than life personality that cannot possibly be ignored. Flair and charisma have never hurt anyone in this business. Melon is a natural artist, over the last few years, he has managed to create a high production profile. "Nitzi" on Innervisions and "Spring" on his own "Ratiomusic?" imprint are incredibly subtle and timeless masterpieces, while his work under his Je Dàvu moniker, such as his infamous re-edit of INXS's "I Need You Tonight" and "I Zebra" on Platzhirsch, showcases a more rocking side of his repertoire. In this EP he has worked with D.O.C. label mastermind Gui Boratto, their new EP sports music for the dance floor, full of groove, lush harmonies and organic undertones.

Melon, - Fall
Side A: “Fall” is the seasons that marks the transition from summer into winter, when the arrival of night becomes noticeably earlier. A time when nature blooms once again into beautiful red and brown colors before losing its fur and colder air penetrates our hemisphere. Side B: TJ Kong & Nuno Dos Santos (Compost) take us further into the night with an epic dance floor mix driven by a killer bassline and a storm of lucid skies. Side C: “Winter” is a transition into even darker and colder times, when days are at its shortest, accompanied with beautiful snowfall and warmth that winter also offers. While the sun is at its lowest position and blinds our eyes, we reach the longest night, a sign that warmer times are ahead. Side D: Although San Proper & Melon have been working together for years, this is San’s first delivery for Ratio?music. San takes us deep into a mid-winter night and tells us that it’s never too hot or too cold to party!

san proper & david oliver - 2. Free (Jacques Renault Remix)
San Proper vocalising.....comes with a Jacques Renault Remix The label say: " Some think freedom comes with a price, others say freedom is a prize. Then you have people who claim "the best things in life are free" . It takes up quite some time and effort, or better yet- 'work', to sort out answers to these questions. One might feel cornered by such issues... David Olivier Nerbl a.k.a. D.O.N. & Dr. San Proper wrote and recorded a sarcastic song last summer which might give some relief. If not, check out Jacques Renault's remix. One love for freedom."

Cool new Ratio? with a surprise Doc Martin remix...! About one year ago Melon met two old friends from Amsterdam lying on the streets of Berlin who gave him an old fashion tape. Out of respect of his (now homeless junkies) friends he borrowed an old tape deck and gave it a listen. He really liked the track but unfortunately he never found his friends again when he went out looking for them. After playing it for months and getting massive feedback the decision has been made to put it out and complimented with two fantastic remixes by California house legend Doc Martin & newcomer Tom Ruijg from Amsterdam, it’s now available for everybody. P.S. guys I owe you a fix!

RATIO? strikes back again with a two-track-release bij SAN PROPER this spring 2011. On side A, Proper whips up an enchanting vocal house-track entitled 'SHOOK' with a specific 'Proper-feel' of groovin' synth-bass melodies, straight-up funkin' house-beats and a message which invites you to shake your behind. Side B contains the track 'BUCKLE UP & RIDE', another instant dance-floor classic which will take us out for a spin around town as we'll drive down to memory-lane to honour some of Chicago's heritage; the lyrics warn you to fasten you seat-belt, the beats and bassline tell you "I-told-you-so"... It's a simple tool of a track, though original and outstanding; beats, bass, vocals and a nasty Proper-attitude...
