Every producer's dream is to one day complete and release a full length album. After a string of well received 12" singles on my own label, Emphasis Recordings, and most recently, on labels like Aesthetic Audio, Machining Dreams, Syncrophone, and Dolly, I thought now is the time to start realizing that dream of the full length album. The idea for the album really started around year 1999 and/or 2000, when I completed the tracks, "Interstice," "It's Perceived As Sound," and "Brink Of Dawn." When the tracks were done, I felt they were better suited for an album release because I experimented outside of the typical 4/4 dance track. I wanted to experiment with ambient music; like something without a kick drum, or different time signatures, which led me to creating a jazz tune using electronic instruments. "It's Perceived As Sound" was conceived in that way. But putting an album out during that time would not have garnished the impact that I wanted, since I was still a relatively unknown artist. So I put the tracks aside. Over the last decade, I worked on many more 12" singles to get my name out there, while still working on tracks that I thought would suit the album. Tracks like "Eternal" and "Heat Burst," produced back in 2011, help add to this album some of that Chicago/ Detroit vibe that I've been known for. As I was getting close to finishing the album, I was thinking which label should release it? The first thing that came to my mind was Smallville. Last year I read two interviews on blogs featuring Smallpeople, a.k.a. Julius Steinhoff and Just Von Ahlefeld, who also run the label and store out of Hamburg. In each of the interviews, they mentioned me by name. I thought to myself, "these guys really like my music!" Since having visited Hamburg 3 times now, I got to know the label, the people behind it, and thought my project and I would be a good fit. So I decide to send an email to Julius and Just to see if they were interested in releasing the album. They said yes,
so here I am, proud to present to you, as well as Smallville, my debut album entitled "Disconnect To Connect."

Long established Detroit talent Keith Worthy traverses a fine line between deep, bumpy house and raw techno on his debut double album, The Price of Non-Conformance (AESTHETIC AUDIO - November 2014). T.P.O.N.C. is a conceptual project that takes you on a virtual walk through the streets of Detroit. From a musical standpoint, the sound and feel of T.P.O.N.C. aligns with Worthy's own DNA, a complex blend of house and techno, and all while incorporating a degree of fantasy into every composition. Always striving to create his own path, and never allowing everyone else's "norm" to become his influence, Worthy really excels in this long player format. In total, T.P.O.N.C. consists of 14 tracks (including 8 songs and 6 interludes) all crafted to convey a vision of what non-conformance looks and sounds like. T.P.O.N.C. has range; from the boom-bap of the drums to the unorthodox patterns and key structures, this project evokes a sense of individualism that often gets lost in today's modern world of musical proliferation. In true Detroit fashion, and in tandem with the spirit of Aesthetic Audio's own mantra, T.P.O.N.C. maintains, "the rule is there are no rules".

The 18th installment from Aesthetic Audio brings together four deep architects to form a collective that methodically articulates a symphony of sublime textures, lush chords and unique musical visions. Keith Worthy (Detroit - U.S.A.), Miruga (Japan), Jose Rico (Spain), and Michael Zucker (Orlando – U.S.A.) are The Unusual Suspects, and they are here to remind us that it’s okay being labeled as unorthodox … it’s okay to move to your own rhythm … and in fact … it’s okay to applaud the “Unusual”.

The 17th installment from Aesthetic Audio brings together Italian bred producer Joe Drive and Detroit’s own Keith Worthy for a two-man journey to fathom the depths of The Sound Oasis. On this journey, the soundtrack articulates Joe Drive’s lush and extremely deep textures, and Worthy compliments the project by paying tribute Joe Drive’s original with a stripped down, raw and bumpy remix of Amnios.

Moments in Rhythm vol 3. was inspired by an in-depth conversation that questioned the level of importance that today’s society does or does not value it’s critical art forms, most specifically music … the universal language, as a means of free expression. From this passionate discussion spawned the composition of an opened ended letter, written in 4/4 format that captures and shares the passion of this conversation, and ultimately asks some questions such as … Is It In You?

Just close your eyes and listen to these three lush compositions, while your imagination paints brilliant abstract visuals deep in the alleys of your mind. Keeping consistent with the previous ten Aesthetic Audio releases, the formula for this new gem remains an uncompromising plethora of very raw substance, innovation, and timeless music that will clearly stand on it own amongst deep dance aficionados across the globe. Deep Roots: begins this journey with this intense and twisted deep banger that is simply a dancers dream. Thumping drums and melodic string arrangements get things jumping as you are very quickly taken to your special place. The Dark Symphony: is a sinister and grimy yet gorgeous piece of work all at the same time. Lush chords and dark electronic sculptures spark an imaginary sense of euphoria as the art of dance holds your body ransom. Climates: captures the sheer art and raw essence of deep underground dance. This dark beauty continues to build until your body renders itself to the rhythm, and then ultimately it fades … leaving a beautiful memory on the canvass in your mind.

Miles hails from the UK, and resides deep in the countryside drawing inspiration from his surroundings. Before electronic music became his main focus, Miles grew up learning theory and digesting everything he could get his hands on musically. Fast forward and the electronic bug took hold. Miles deconstructed & analyzed music via pirate radio around London and shared mix tapes, while messing with Synthesizers and Drum machines all while working at Rhythm Syndicate records in Cambridge UK. In 2000, Miles won the UK Dance magazine Mixmag's Dj Competition, and in the years following exhibited such highlights as a residency @ the boutique, in London / Brighton. After 12 years as a committed DJ working the underground House & Techno scene in the UK and abroad, Miles kicked off his own imprint in 2009 "Atmospheric Existence Recordings" as a vision for his own solo productions. Sagnia is a tireless pusher of quality underground, and always remains humble and never compromises his sound. With these signature traits as the musical focus and common denominator for Aesthetic Audio's Worthy as well ... Aesthetic Audio proudly presents "The Sounds from the Abyss e.p.

Keith Worthy returns with the second release on the Detroit based Aesthetic Audio label. "She loves me not (Original Deepstrumental)" is a deeper than deep, with sweet percussion accompanying the smooth beats while the spaced-out keys create a laidbadk vibe perfect for afterhours/early morning play. The alternate 'Mental Deepstrumental' adds a slight techy edge to the track. "Beat the beat up" is a typical Detroit-ish tech house track with moody keys over a techified beat.
