Returning once again to re-identify NYC’s late nightclub world, this epic installation proves to be a key milestone in the label’s discography. The EP begins with a cool drifting taste of modulated pads, rhythmic guitar and simple drum work. Highlighting a bit more of a funky disco groove, Atlantis is a liquid soul jam for the ages. The beat picks up with Count Down To Zero, as an uber progressive hypnotic loop track gets lost in the smooth key stabs. The tribal vibe picks up with Don’t Look Down, adding some more percussion, slow attack synth chords and crazy Rhodes melodies. Gabriel slows things down to a lazy dubbed-out house cut full of succulent strings, charismatic claps and middle-eastern harmonies. Great for the late-night club slot or an introspective headphone listen, this solid EP is a sure fire success!

Beautiful melodious techno inspiring a spaced-out abandon. Sam Perez and Matteo Bruscagin aka Brusca started to gain recognition with their dark, progressive thriller of a cut called “Ghosts and Ghouls” on H’Plus in 2004, but they don’t limit themselves to sinister grooves of that nature. While their style is always epic with sweeping synthesizers and digital drama and effects, Apologist is showing their sensual, dubbier side with this debut release on Wave Music. The duo has released productions and remixes together, separately and under different names on quality labels like Yoshitoshi, Baroque, Swift and Restart.

King Britt crossing over from techno to house DJs!! Wave Music is proud to present “Love for You,” a new direction not only for the label but also in terms of productions by King Britt re-envisioned. What we have here was also highlighted on King Britt’s recent compilation, “Deep and Sexy 4” – also on Wave. Featured on vocals is the unmistakably talented Lisa Shaw, whose soulful vocals have been put to great use here – one remix is more rave-y ride while the other will appeal to deep and minimal tech house fan

Yasuda fuses intelligent techno with elements of deep house, a bit of melodic Knights of the Jaguar compounded with doses of King Britt soul for a cosmic disco trip. The track slowly builds off of spacey synths and a soft, fuzzy beat. Snares, strings and a hypnotic melody elevate the mood on this tech beat. Flip for "Sabit Tech Dub" which deepens the bassline and drops the bpms a notch to 124. A meteor shower of glimmering strings haunts this track, creating an epic mood that is beyond comparison. Quality arrangement on this one through and through

Eric Kupper's first Organika release was the massive smash hit "Havana", a seminal cut which laid the foundation for theAfricanism/DJ Gregory explosion that's dominated house the last few years. The follow-up takes a similar approach, with Kupper slamming some rock-solid tribal/latin beats as the foundation for a funky horn pattern that recalls 80s dance like Miami Sound Machine. Featured on Matthias Heilbronn's latest Deep & Sexy compilation, this one is not to be missed!

Second selection of deep house grooves on Wave from AlphaMotive Featuring some sultry vocals from Dina Richardson teaming up with some subtle synth stabs, a great trumpet line, funky percussion, and deep and delicious bassline groove, perfect for fans of the likes of Charles Webster, Moloko, etc The "Comin Up Funk Vocal Mix" toughens up the beats, sweeps the synths, and strips some of the vocal away, preferring instead to go with the thumping kickdrum lead and a filtered take on the trumpet from the original before the bassline takes the cut over Last up is the "Apex House Mix", which is the dubbiest take of the mixes, with dubs and filters running rampant on this truly deep interpretation

With E-Man as featured artist here you know its more spoken words than singing. And so E-Man speaks about his love for music and his thanks to God for it. This is best in the 'Suedo Jazz Mix', on the flip side. The Jazz Mix is really worth the money with its 9 minutes of swinging rhythm, bass, saxophone and late night feeling it just oozes class.
