Universal Robot Band - Barely Breaking Even (Instrumantal Version)

B2: Allein (Original Mix)
hello,
'Allein' by Quarks is a timeless piece of German electro-pop culture that captures the nostalgia of Berlin’s wild & spaced out 2000s like no other!
Originally released on the duo's third album "Trigger Me Happy", the single was later released as a 12" with two massive remixes that were only available on vinyl.
Whether it's Sascha Funke's haunting minimal techno masterpiece or Swayzak's colourful & electrifying banger - both remixes leave no doubt that this 12" will bring goosebumps & tears of joy to every dance floor until the end of time!
With all original masters & DATs lost, this reissue has been carefully restored & remastered from the original vinyl by Dubplates & Mastering. Sounding crystal clear & ready for the club in 2026!
goodbye.

Tracklist (Updated!)
A Robotman feat. Marshall Jefferson – Do Da Doo (Plastikman’s Acid House Mix)
B1 Robotman feat. Marshall Jefferson – Do Da Doo (Jamie Jones Remix)
B2 Robotman feat. Marshall Jefferson – Do Da Doo (DJ Minx Remix)
SHORT INFO:
Definitive Recordings reissues Plastikman's classic Acid House Mix of his own 'Do Da Doo' feat. Marshall Je?erson. Evergreen stars Jamie Jones and DJ Minx serve up their own new remixes.
First released in 1993, and now re-recorded with new vocals by Marshall Je?erson, techno mainstay Richie Hawtin dropped this tune under his Robotman alias. It became an instant underground classic and a cornerstone of the label's early catalogue, capturing Hawtin at a time of great innovation as he helped shape the next wave.
The A-Side features the original Plastikman Acid House Mix, spanning nearly 12 minutes of deep, hypnotic pressure. Classic 909 drums and a signature 303 bassline intertwine throughout. The acid line changes shape and texture from smooth to more prickly, and the percussion keeps dancers locked in for what is a truly mind-melting trip.
Remixer Jamie Jones is one of the most notable DJs and producers in the scene. His Hot Creations label and Paradise party are where he continues to explore the intersection of house and techno. This remix features his signature low-end bounce and futuristic tech house sound, complete with stark, laser-like synth lines and funky drum patterns. It's a warm sound designed to energise the club.
Next is Motor City guardian DJ Minx, who heads up the DJ collective 'Women on Wax' and has been an ambassador for Detroit house and techno around the world since the 90s. She dropped the underground minimal hit 'A Walk in the Park' on Hawtin's Minus label in 2004 and now comes full circle with this remix. She leans into deeper, more swung drums and shows knowing restraint by building freaky vocal fragments and lush chords that keep dancers locked in the groove.
Robotman feat. Marshall Je?erson's 'Do Da Doo' comes on Definitive Recordings on 21st August 2026.

3
Delfonic - Got To Know Your Body

Delfonic - FM4 Me
No filler, no detours, just floor-focused disco from Berlin's Delfonic, who is always on point. 'Welcome Black' wastes no time snapping into action with driving drums, elastic bass and bright string stabs that demand full body movement. 'Dancing Facts' keeps it lean and punch with vocals and tight percussion, doing exactly what's required. Flip it over and 'Got To Know Your Body' rolls out classic disco funk, warm chords and a flash of soulful heat cutting through the groove. 'FM4 Me' goes deeper, chugging rhythm and filtered synth lines primed for locked-in, late-night sessions. Functional, effective and quality as ever from Delfonic.

Loveface / Misiu - This Ain't No Disco (Loveface Rework)
2
Loveface / Misiu - Tarot (Misiu Rework)
Early Support – Greg Wilson, Ian Ossia
One of Talking Heads best-loved tracks, but not a club play until now. Brilliantly reimagined for the dancefloor by Loveface, and right on topic given its original title, ‘Life During Wartime’. This is a surefire proven party favourite following pre-release plays, coupled with ‘Tarot’, an early-‘80s Italo gem, which was brought back into circulation 22 years on, via an Idjut Boys re-edit, and now, another 22 years down the line, Misui’s wonderfully fluid take on this mesmeric track brings it back into focus.

Genre: House
Tracklist 12”:
A1 Tom “Watch Me" (06:18)
B1 Iron Curtis & J. Albert "Sounds (Eden Burns Remix)" (06:08)
B1 Claus Casper "Piano Italiano" (06:45)
B2 Amount "Feel You" (06:08)
Short Info: Amateur forever? Oh yeah! “Amateur Hour” celebrates 15 years of Frank Music - still running on pure DIY energy, with Johannes Albert happily admitting he’s got no master plan, just a deep feel for House Music. And somehow, nearly 80 releases later, that instinct still hits. Volume II dives into the digital archives - bringing these cuts to wax for the very first time. Tom drops the vocal house bomb “Watch Me”; New Zealand's Eden Burns flips “Sounds” into something seriously special, and Claus Casper brings the sunshine with “Piano Italiano” (exactly what you think it is). And then there’s Amount’s “Feel You” - the one that’s been moving bodies since Fusion Festival 2023 and hasn’t really stopped since.
Let's be frank. Once again.

Discoteca Tropicana - Nao Pode Acabar
Selva Discos is proud to present its latest release: the EP by the band Discoteca Tropicana. This record features 4 original tracks that celebrate the rhythms that have influenced Brazilian disco music, showcasing the best of this fusion: the swing and tropical flavour that bring sunshine to any dance floor.
The project is the result of a collaboration between Kiko Costato, the enfant terrible of the Brazilian music scene, and Zé Nigro, a producer and multi-instrumentalist who has won two Grammy Awards and has worked with major names in Brazilian and international music such as João Donato, Antonio Carlos & Jocafi and Natasha Diggs.
This EP is based on 4 different themes. For each one, Kiko and Zé Nigro recruited some of Brazil’s finest studio musicians – people who work with Seu Jorge, Céu, Criolo, Metá Metá, Cidadão Instigado and Tulipa Ruiz – as well as pioneering artists from the Brazilian Black music scene, such as the backing vocalists who work with the legendary Gilberto Gil.
“Corpos Celestes” is a more classic “disco diva” track, featuring string arrangements and a grand piano, as if it were the start of the evening, a magical moment straight from the heyday of disco in the United States; “Corpo Treme” is the sweat, the vuco-vuco, a song for that moment when you’ve already let yourself go, a sprint to the frenetic rhythm of the carimbó; “Tobina” is the meeting of Brazil and Africa, from which Brazilian swing is born, an original chant straight from the Congo, with a characteristic African guitar, adapted to Brazilian rhythms, just like the afoxé. Finally, the dancefloor hit “Não Pode Acabar”, a more urban disco track, which works just as well for kicking off a party with the right vibe as for closing a set with the highest energy.

Release Info:
Dam Swindle nail 2026 as the year of House music’s glorious return with their new “Call me” EP.
2026 is the year of House music. Festivals, clubs, bars and living rooms have been craving for more warmth and soul in
electronic music and you know we’re here for it.
It’s only been a few months since we celebrated the 100th release on Heist with our ‘House of House’ compilation; a 19-track
embodiment of everything we love about house music where label heads Dam Swindle teamed up with Detroit legend DJ Minx
on their track ‘Back to the old school’. Now, landing just in time for summer, the Amsterdam duo deliver a new EP filled with
dancefloor energy across 5 original cuts and vocals courtesy of British-Bengali rapper Surya Sen.
The title track ‘Call me’ is a stabby and string-heavy peak time jam, where chopped female vocals and offbeat cowbells deliver a
simply irresistible groove. ‘5 to 9’ features the vocals of London rapper Surya Sen whose deep voice add an instant vibe to Dam
Swindle’s deep and Detroit’esque production. This track sits somewhere between gritty dark rooms and sweaty dancefloors.
Definitely not the stuff for your 9 to 5, but with plenty of funk for your after-work pleasures. The track comes in 2 versions; the
vocal mix and a longer club-dub with some cleverly chopped vocals that comes in handy for the DJ sets.
The B1 is saved for ‘I like it’. A track full of old school Swindle swing, Rhodes chords, a dash of electronics and soulful vocals
chops for good measure. The EP closer is ‘A house track’; a song dedicated to the old school New York house sound and an
affirmation that great house music doesn’t have to be complicated. It just needs to groove.
This one has been road-tested all year and is now ready for your listening and playing pleasure. As always, share the music and
play it loud!
Yours,
Heist HQ.

Yours,
Heist HQ.

Supported by the only man with a copy the one and only DJ Harvey, so you know what to expect.
The concept remains simple — extend what already works. With the second chapter of MAXI MAXIMAL, Leicht Matrose SIRS continues a DJ focused approach to reconstruction, taking timeless disco, synth pop and balearic moments and reshaping them into extended, more playable versions built for flow, space, and long-form mixing. This is not about rarity or obscurity, it’s about clarity. Not digging for forgotten gems here but refining familiar material into its most functional, immersive form. Each track is treated with a clear intention: to open up space, deepen the arrangement, and allow the original emotion to unfold over a longer timeline made for modern use, without losing its core feeling. you dig it .

David Jackson - Broken Heart
2
Johannes Albert - Giovanni Frizzante
3
Johannes Albert - Wing House (Shan Remix)
4
Max Lessig - Jupiter Hymn
Genre: House
Tracklist 12”:
A1 David Jackson “Broken Heart" (06:45)
B1 Johannes Albert "Giovanni Frizzante" (06:10)
B1 Johannes Albert "Wing House (Shan Remix)" (06:45)
B2 Max Lessig "Jupiter Hymn" (05:57)
Short Info: Amateur forever? Oh yeah! “Amateur Hour” celebrates 15 years of Frank Music - still running on pure DIY energy, with Johannes Albert happily admitting he’s got no master plan, just a deep feel for House Music. And somehow, nearly 80 releases later, that instinct still hits. Volume I digs into the archives: forgotten cuts, long out of print, quietly becoming cult favorites. David Jackson’s “Broken Heart” returns to wax, alongside J.A.’s own “Giovanni Frizzante" if Italo is still your thing.
Flip it over and it gets deeper: Shan reworks “Wing House” into something massive, while Max Lessig closes things out with the understated, timeless glow of “Jupiter Hymn”.
Let's be frank. Once again.
Vital Sales Points:
- full printed cover
- 15 years label compilation vol I
