Welcome back to a time when Bulletin Board Systems were the social media, it was too dark for influencers, hardware predated plugins, and a home studio was a cumbersome necessity in the absence of ghost producers.
The vinyl-only Kilotoni series returns with another faceless batch of radioactive techno from the previously unreleased tape archives.
A1 The classic acid techno anthem formula is utilized in its purest form for prime time main floor use. Steady build-ups keep the tension going in what is otherwise a simplistic live recording style performance.
A2 Compressed-to-death hard techno and a detuned lead that could have come straight out of late-90s Sweden. A rare cheeky vocal snippet from an old Trax record and submarine sonar pulses provide some relief from the pressure.

Tbilisi Records proudly presents the first volume in the series: Giya Kancheli - Music for Stage and Screen.
Giya Kancheli (1935-2019) was one of the most acclaimed and beloved Georgian composers of the 20th century. He created celebrated symphonic and chamber works, but also brought depth and beauty to theater and cinema through his original scores. Working in tandem with directors, screenwriters, playwrights, and conductors, Kancheli helped to define multiple eras of Georgia's diverse, multidisciplinary artistic identity.
In collaboration with the composer's family, Tbilisi Records has compiled a series of recordings of Kancheli's music composed for film and theater. This first double LP presents some of his earliest creations: music for two theater productions, Khanuma (1968) and The Straw Hat (1966), and one of the composer's earliest soundtracks, music for the film Extraordinary Exhibition (1968).
This album includes archival recordings, unreleased tracks, and alternate takes from sessions made available here for the very first time. These collected examples from the composer's early career illustrate his already established style, while serving as a foundation from which to compare his later works and artistic evolution. "Giya Kancheli - Music for Stage and Screen" also highlights Kancheli's incredible propensity for collaboration, emphasizing his role as a critical figure in the constellation of artists that defined Georgia's creative milieu.
The label extends its deepest gratitude to the family of Giya Kancheli, whose trust and kindness made this release possible. Our heartfelt thanks also go to everyone who once lent their sound or vision to these recordings - musicians and photographers whose names may be lost to time, yet whose spirits live on in the music and images that endure.

The Teflon Dons' Rudiments EP, released in 1996 on Worldship Music and now reissued on FRL Classic edition, is one of those records that perfectly embodies the most authentic spirit of 90s underground deep house. Universal Love: 10 Years of Love Injection is a triple LP collection of genre crossing, open-eared, open-minded tracks which celebrate not only the ten year existence of Love Injection as a 'zine, record label and radio show but also the New York parties that acted as the inspiration and raison d'être for Love Injection's birth and evolution. Indeed it was at Mancuso's iconic parties at The Loft where Love Injection founders and compilers of this collection, Barbie Bertisch and Paul Raffaele, first came up with Love Injection as the name for their project, literally whilst they were dancing to the NYC classic by Trussel. Furthermore it was the eclectic ethos of The Loft that inspired their own Universal Love parties. It was these events that funded the monthly, printed 'Zine and it is this 'Zine which included interviews and features with and on diverse musical contributors as musclecars, Patti Kane, Jaimie Branch, Isiah Collier, Kamasi Washington and major contributors to the NYC club scenes from the wider arts. This diversity and inclusion that reflects the city of New York is also reflected in the 14 tracks collated for Universal Love: 10 Years of Love Injection, including hidden producers Joe Claussell, John Morales and Maurice Fulton. It is clear from its psychedelic blues opening track , its electro interpretation of a Bossa Nova classic, fusions of Soul and Rumba, a Japanese techno reimagining of a Chicago House classic and a track order that could only have been realised by people who understand how a DJ set is built that this compilation is a must have for DJs, dancers and free thinking music lovers alike. Universal Love: 10 Years of Love Injection is more than a celebration of an anniversary; it is an encapsulation of how a vibrant scene is created and built through the curation and selection of the myriad musical options, selectors, music makers and club goers who all contribute. This really is an amazing compilation.

Like all four previous volumes, Vol. 5 offers a colorful mix of songs from the late 1970s and early 1980s. From extremely rare tracks to easily accessible ones and even unreleased material-this release has everything to make a collector's heart race. Once again, these songs will get you on your feet, inspire you to dance, and transport you back to the glittering world of the late 1970s. CAN YOU FEEL IT?
Let's take a closer look at a few of the songs on this album. Kicking things off are Bill Deal & The Rhondels, a band that needs no introduction. The same cannot be said for Tom Balistreri and Ryjel. The latter presents "Heart's On Fire," a seven-minute journey into previously unreleased deep disco. "Old Mother Winter" may not be a typical disco song, but it's undoubtedly a fantastic composition. The Stone Mill Band is relatively unknown even among hardcore collectors. The most recent track on this album is by singer Tory Wynter who already contributed a song for Can You Feel It Vol.4. "Oh Let The Rain Fall Down" was released in 1988.
The second record opens with "Been Thinkin' About You" by Avatar-an amazing song and probably the rarest gem on this album, in stark contrast to Piz-Zazz - a record you can find easily for a few dollars. Saxophonist King Perkoff was born in Santa Monica, California, but now resides in Berlin, and with "When You Live In Marin" he delivers a real disco-funk banger! Glenn "Shake & Bake" Doughty played professional football as a wide receiver for the Baltimore Colts from 1972 to 1979. Together with some of his teammates, he founded the Shake & Bake Band in 1975. We probably aren't telling Tramp fans anything new here. Anyway, a little over two years ago, we reissued the first of their two extremely hard to find 45-RPM singles ("Shake & Bake Pt. 1 & 2"). We also included a DJ-friendly edit of the song on "Movements Vol. 12." It is a must for us here at Tramp that we also reissue their second single, "Starflight Disco Pt. 1 & 2," soon!
So there you have it, 13 obscure but brilliant MODERN SOUL, DISCO and BOOGIE tunes of which all have not been compiled anywhere else. We sincerely hope you enjoy our guided tour back into the late 1970s and 80s Disco era.

Born in Wroc?aw. Known and liked as a member of the Wroclaw-based duo Skalpel. Much less known and liked as the author of several solo albums that illustrate and explore different states of consciousness: Breslau (solo debut released on Ninja Tune) - the frenzy of war, Dream Logic - the meanders of dreams, Delirium - psychedelic hallucinations, Fyodor - religious exaltation and ethical illusions. On the album "Refleks", he explores the state of consciousness of an old digger and beatmaker. He lives in Wroclaw.

Refleks is tender and free. Of the two meanings of this word [in Polish], I choose the one that is a reflection of light on a river. Hypnotic and never monotonous, brilliant and charming, with depth slumbering beneath. The whirlpools we encounter on the album are only slightly cunning; they are rather playful. Although one can look into the abyss, it is not greedy-it allows you to stay on the shore and does not consume you unconditionally.
In some tracks, it even throws you out: you think you're still riding that slide-a tunnel you think is endless-but it ends safely and suddenly in the grass. In the plush. As if a momentary wind carried you away, only to stop at the least expected moment, finding yourself in a completely new yet seemingly familiar space-time-at home, which is not yours, yet not foreign either. While the titles clearly suggest Wroc?aw-based situations, in my opinion, we are moving on a higher level of intimacy and abstraction. On the waves of the ether, the forgotten element of everything that cannot be measured, weighed, or counted. What we know for sure, but might only seem so to us. In the hospitable cosmos of a well-settled head.

Pariter return with a second archival reissue from three key figures of the original London tech house movement, David Coker, Timmy S and Justin Baileys.
This double header pairs a heavyweight house groover on the A side with a rolling acid tech house cut on the flip. The A side is driven by commanding vocal samples and Timmy's finely tuned engineering, channeling the raw, sound-system focused energy that defined the era's most enduring club records.
On the B side, a relentless acid-fuelled roller emerges from the vaults, a secret weapon that has remained deadly on underground dance floors for more than two decades, quietly championed by those in the know.
Now, 26 years on, original copies are nearly impossible to find in clean condition with rare copies regularly changing hands for hundreds of euros on the collector's market.
Carefully restored and remastered by Yossi Amoyal, this reissue revives a long lost and highly sought after underground classic.

Across eight carefully selected slices of starry-eyed machine soul, Cold Blow presents an exquisite tour through backroom techno and downtempo electro. With a focus on thematic flow and an immersive listening experience, the London-based label explores works from leading lights of the 1990s and previously unreleased cuts that celebrate the human heart that can be discovered in synthetic sound practices. The development of techno in the 1990s saw the music evolve in different directions across the world. From the expressive blueprint laid out by the Detroit pioneers, a wide range of tempos and energies emerged. Techno's evocative synthesis and intricate drum machine programming was especially potent for deeper explorations away from the dancefloor. Documents Of A Different Reality casts back to when technology was steering quantum leaps in communication and creativity and the future was shot through with naive optimism. It was also a time when the media and industry hadn't caught up with the music to box it into distinct categories. As such, there's a sense of creative freedom that informs the older tracks on the album, from 2000 And One and Sandy Huner's sparkling example of early Dutch techno to London-based LA Synthesis' detailed take on braindance and the majestic night sky vision of cult legend Stasis. There's also space for rare, late 90s machine funk from Icelandic outlier Thor alongside Connective Zone's charmingly fractured bleep dream and a more contemporary offering from Barcelona-based duo Permutation. Meanwhile Mind Control and CiM both capture the spirit of stylistic fusion with twitchier rhythms that take influence from hardcore and jungle as much as techno. With an atmospheric through-line of melancholic pads and harmonious leads, this small but perfectly formed collection naturally follows on from previous, equally thought-out compilations on Cold Blow, and adds a distinct perspective on the history and continuing legacy of pioneering early ambient techno.

Sublime frequencies from the golden era of ambient electronica.
Plumbing hidden depths beneath a deceptively tranquil surface, MLO's mid-90s masterpiece Io is an overlooked gem from a golden era for ambient electronic music. Originally released in 1994, Jon Tye and Pete Smith's collaborative album responded to the growing chill-out movement by leaning into classical and avant-garde influences from Satie, Debussy and Cage through to Soft Machine, Incredible String Band and Eno. Recorded across various studios stacked with classic and rare synths, Io was patiently composed into slowly unfolding suites punctuated with ripples of arrhythmic interference to arrive at a purist vision of true ambient.
The next instalment in Forever Records' ongoing reissue series shines a light back on this landmark piece of UK electronica with the first official reissue since its original edition on Rising High. As well as the original double LP pressing and a new CD digipak version, there will also be a uniquely numbered, limited edition housed in a gatefold sleeve that comes with a bonus 10" featuring two previously unreleased versions of the album's opening cut, 'Wimborne'.
