Following the release of his 'Vestibule' EP, cult favourite Galcher Lustwerk returns with a remixed rendition featuring mixes from Skee Mask, Saoirse, Ricardo Villalobos, and Yaleesa Hall, releasing via Stratasonic on July 3rd. The New York-based producer has become one of the most prolific names in the underground, recognised for his fusion of hazy house grooves, storytelling, and hip-hop-inspired vocals. Originally dropped on February 3rd, the 'Vestibule' EP is a warm-toned, three-track release, featuring rolling percussion, introspective lyrics, and subtle cosmic synths. Opening the remix EP is Chilean producer and DJ Ricardo Villalobos, known for his genre and boundary-defying productions and remixes, and the extended DJ sets that have made him a contemporary legend. Some tracks don’t need fixing. They just need a bit more room. South African composer and keyboard wizard Don Laka has been quietly sitting in DJ bags for years, especially with people who like their synth music warm, slightly
mysterious, and impossible to date properly. Somewhere between jazz funk, township pulse and studio electronics, but really just its own thing.
Stages was an obvious candidate for extension. Prins Thomas what he does best here: opens the arrangement, lets the synth lines breathe, stretches the groove until it starts floating a little higher off the ground. Nothing forced, nothing added for
the sake of it. Just more of a very good thing. I Wanna Be Myself gets a gentle nudge from Gerd Janson. The idea was simple: keep the personality, and give DJs a version that lands naturally in a modern set without losing the original charm. It’s still the same track, just standing a bit straighter.
And because the source matters, the original version of “Stages” is here as well. Always good to remember where the magic started. Three versions, no drama. Just strong music that already knew what it was doing.

He went on to release over 125 EPs and singles under countless aliases, in various groups, and on his labels DNH Records and Treehouse Records, as well as !K7 Records and NRK. His style spans house, disco loops and minimal Chicago grooves and is always high on immersive atmosphere. Opener 'Dance Dance Dance' brings together all those aspects of the Holder sound with its funky guitar riffs looping beneath raw drums and disco basslines. Classic Chic samples burst out of the mix to bring an air of celebration and party, and it makes for an irresistibly feel-good sound. 'Keep on Running' is a steamy and sweaty house jam with loopy drums and bass and more smartly chosen samples, this time from Roy Ayers, that bring the funk and never let up. It has long been a go-to anthem for house DJs, and the realness and rawness of the emotions in Holder's work also shine through with the filtered synths and jazzy keys of 'The Message of Love', which is complete with bumpy and irresistible drums. Last of all is the unfettered party spirit and diva vocals of the brilliantly lo-fi funk-house pumper that is 'Clap Ya Hands'. This EP hasn't aged one bit and remains a definitive piece of early Deep House history.

Shinichi Koboyashi’s music as Bot1500 has such a beautiful signature to it. Using the layers and language of ambient IDM, artfully arranged pads & chords and crisp vectored breaks, he’s been creating a beautiful and highly individual sound.
The Black Sea, His first album since 2022’s Surreal on AD93’s sister label Lith Dolina, spaces things out more and focuses inward with a palette of minimalism and increased emotional resonance. It’s been a focus for Shinichi across his self-published studio work in the last few years.
The album’s tracks feel increasingly rooted in the principles and logic of dub. Utilising more space, more silence, and more focus on the simplicity and elegance of the composition folded into radiant arrangements of melody, snare, shade and echo.
The sea is both an inner landscape and a geographic image that hangs over the record’s mood. A dark humid summer night, like that on Japanese coasts. A small boat sails aimlessly. An eerie tone, but with a glimpse of beauty. The water is melancholic, enveloping, and endless.
Each track is written at 140bpm save for last track “White Flocks” at 120, for the image of heading south to close out.

Following Andy Butler’s Hercules & Love Affair return, closing out 2025 with a new tour and the acclaimed four-track Someone Else Is Calling EP (Pitchfork, RA, Stereogum), he’s back again, now with a set of remixes that include deep house originator Larry Heard (aka Mr. Fingers), alongside underground heroes Ciel, Luke Solomon & CPEN, and Mystery Affair. Someone Else Is Calling Remixes will be unveiled on April 24 with the release of “Crossed Lines (Mr. Fingers Acid Mix), ahead of the full package on May 1. “Larry Heard was a direct inspiration for the original EP,” says Butler. “So having him on this remix package particularly moved my heart.” This is not the first time one of house music’s most important pioneers has remixed Butler’s work. The late great Frankie Knuckles famously put his rendition on Butler’s breakout single “Blind” in 2008. “Like when I first heard Frankie Knuckles’ remix, and thought how he truly listened to and felt the music, I had that same experience with Larry’s. I can’t express how grateful I am to have him participate.” Andy Butler is a pivotal figure in modern queer dance culture. His work as Hercules & Love Affair has shaped club culture since the iconic 2008 track “Blind” with ANOHNI — a landmark moment that bridged underground house, pop, and queer expression.

In 2000, Theo Parrish released his second full album, Parallel Dimensions, on his own Sound Signature label. 4 Years later S.A.'s Ubiquity issued the tracks from the CD version, and repackaged the album on a quality 2LP pressing (plus again on CD). It was around this time (2004) that Theo was being picked up a much wider audience and reaching notable acclaim outside the House circles in which he'd already firmly established himself. This could be seen as the album that brought Theo Parrish into many people's consciousness. This pivotal album has, up to now, been out of print and highly sort after - We are very pleased to announce this full re-issue from Ubiquity Records. TIP! The 2004 Text Read: Theo Parrish's early album Parrallel Dimensions finds a proper reissue on Ubiquity.
