Inperspective Records proudly debuts Shiken Hanzo's inaugural full-length album titled 'Fate Worlds'!
Shiken Hanzo is an artist not easily forgotten. His sound splices the fractious traditions of jungle with more ambient touches and this hybridisation has us incredibly excited to bring you his first full length album - 'Fate Worlds'.
In doing so, his boundless creativity is brandished through complete artistic freedom. The result is a special blend of foreboding atmospherics and tightly-bound percussive force, an odyssey of an album which takes influences from across the jungle spectrum and twists them into a unique musical journey. Hanzo's record on label's like Samurai Music and Cylon Recordings is clearly audible, a palpable legacy that has given breadth to his current creative purpose: to make ever-evolving music with no respect for conventions or boundaries.
A thirteen-track mastery straight from the underground, 'Fate Worlds' constructs a complex cinematic universe - sonically rich and texturally sophisticated. Iconic tracks, such as 'Book of Soyga', are emblematic of this approach; an eerie, kick-heavy track named after an Elizabethan treatise on magic - an arcane, paranormal backdrop juxtaposed with futuristic vocal leads and technoid bassline murmurs. At the other end of the spectrum is 'Taoist Elements', a rhythmic sledgehammer built upon the shifting sands of breakbeat hypnotism and one which brings a laser-like focus on dancefloor momentum. This confidence to adapt and infuse is eminent through-out the album and results in a raw and unforgiving display of boisterous ingenuity.
A truly sensational start to 2021, 'Fate Worlds' demonstrates Hanzo's eclectic range and superb talent, as well as Inperspective's commitment to pushing the boundaries of jungle - this is undeniably a great stride forward in that journey.

The second phase of Invisible Inc’s 10-year anniversary celebrations has landed, hot on the heels of the scorching Phase 1.
Where Phase one focussed on the dub-style, electronic and ambient side of the label’s output, the second volume leans slightly more towards the ‘psych’ side of the label and is aptly titled “Resonance: Ten Years of Psychedelic Sounds From The Soul Of Invisible Inc”
As has been a consistent pattern with the label in its decade of existence is its ethos of releasing new and exclusive tracks as well as releasing on vinyl pre-existing tracks that only ever saw the light of day in the digital realm. This compilation is no different. Alongside exclusive new material from Anna vs June, E Ruscha V, Banda Magnética, Exotic Gardens, Kanot and a Coyote remix of Sordid Sound System we also have for the first time on vinyl two tracks by Hena and Futurum that went somewhat under the radar first time round and really deserved to be shared with the wider world.

Hena is Ukrainian producer Volodymyr Gnatenko. “Nuan” is pure peyote-powered desert music for pie-eyed travellers!
"Is It Balearic?" label boss Coyote does the honours and remixes the title track from Sordid Sound System's "Gimme Fever" LP turning it into a hypnotic acid dub mantra.
Swedish duo Kanot are Anton Kolbe (Tross) and Jesper Jarold (Fontän) joining forces to make dreamrock for psychonauts.
Also from Sweden are Futurum who with “Prado” deliver a hypnotic bass-driven odyssey through their vast stockpile of vintage hardware.
Exotic Gardens is the alias of Peaking Lights' Aaron Coyes through which he finds a space for acidic experimentation enhanced by live dubstyle mixer operations.
LA-resident Eddie Ruscha, usually a frequent visitor to the label under his cosmic Secret Circuit alias, this time offers up a twisted but somehow soothing ambient exploration with reversed sounds and live bass.
Banda Magnética is the brainchild of Hugo Capablanca (Discos Capablanca) & Borja Caro (Metametal) offering a mindpuzzler of improvised musique concrète.
Athens-based Anna vs June returns to the fold and closes the proceedings with a song of love, relationships, vulnerability and patience drenched in dreamy electronics.

First unveiled during their headline Love Saves The Day show, the track became a viral highlight following their Glastonbury set, with clips racking up millions of views on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, and fans flooding comment sections demanding an official release. The groundswell of energy caught High Contrast’s attention, prompting him to reach out. Its latest huge moment came at Boomtown, where it confirmed its status not just as the festival anthem of 2025 but as a track destined to echo through clubs and dancefloors long into the autumn, winter, and beyond.
Now, after months of anticipation, Overmono & High Contrast’s If We Ever gets a global release via XL Recordings’ iconic housebag series. The single premiered Tuesday 26 August - as BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record where Tom and Ed said on the track:
“High Contrast used to work in this record shop in Cardiff called Catapult Records. We lived on the other side of the city, but Tom would go and buy records from him there all the time. I’m pretty sure it was the first record shop I went to after I bought Tom a voucher for his birthday one year. ‘Tough Guys Can’t Dance’ was one of those records that was just everywhere, we were all battering it, and “If We Ever” was the anthem. Ahead of Love Saves The Day this year, we started working on our own version of If We Ever, just thinking it would be something fun to play for that show, but the reaction was wild, so we just kept playing it all summer.”

Ich möchte ein Eisbär sein…Written by Martin Eicher after a nightmare in which he saw talking polar bears on the walls, and with music by the Grauzone crew consisting of Martin and his brother Stephan Eicher, Marco Repetto, Christian "GT" Trüssel, and Claudine Chirac (on saxophone), "Eisbär" is the most recognizable title from the band, a sublime mix of ingredients reflecting the transitional era it comes from - the raw energy of punk music still palpable, combined with the audacity of early electronics, the warm groove of a disco gem, beautifully fragile lyrics, and one of the best basslines ever. It became a mega hit, totally unplanned, but how could you resist such a track?
"FILM 2" is the ultimate b-side monster, a menacing all-instrumental pre-techno masterpiece, slowly building to a magnetizing frenzy. An instant underground favorite, it was famously heard played at both speeds depending on the scenes and DJs you were frequenting, 45rpm as it was first intended, and 33rpm for the cosmic experience (search Daniele Baldelli’s Cosmic C75 1982 mixtape online for a great example of this).
The maxi single ends with "Ich Lieb Sie", a synth-pop meets doo-wop ballad, a true love song oozing with innocence. Simple, stylish, and just right.
At the crossroads of post-punk, new wave, pop, and electronic experimentation, the Eisbär maxi offers three songs that are technically different but hold the same spirit, the perfect embodiment of Grauzone’s music - wild, unpredictable, and youthful, yet sophisticated, catchy, and ingenious. Stephan Eicher went on to be, arguably, the most successful Swiss musician ever, with an international career extending from pop chanson to experimental escapades and collaborations with Moondog, artists Sophie Calle and John Armleder, and author Martin Suter among many other luminaries. We go through life. We shed our skins. We become ourselves.” This line from Patti Smith was going round and round Felix Manuel’s head as he gradually constructed Under Tangled Silence, his first album in six years and a record of a literal creative rebirth. Felix originally began it in earnest in 2020 Covid lockdown, but a catastrophic hard-drive meltdown destroyed almost all his work and sent him close to psychic collapse himself. However, ultimately this pushed him to rebuild from scratch and in so doing to confront and reassess every part of his musical and psychological processes. The result is utterly extraordinary. Felix was a child prodigy as an instrumentalist and his advanced musicality has always been prominent in his music, but here he has put himself front and centre as pianist, harpist and more. And this sense of exposure as a performer interweaves with an unflinching emotional openness too. Where sometimes electronic production as advanced as this can use intellect and techniques as shields from soul-baring, this is the sound of someone who can boldly say “I feel things, I cry all the time, and I'm not afraid to say it or show it in the music.” But this doesn’t mean there’s a move away from the soundsystems and dancefloors where Felix made his name as a uniquely innovative vinyl DJ. Even just in the opening track “A Tune for Us”, minimalist piano ripples and jazz drumming flow into the breaks of vintage jungle – and as the structure of the LP unfolds, a deep ambient meditation like “Hold” can sit very naturally in between the futurist dancehall of “L’Ancienne” and the high-definition acid house mind movie of “Galaxy in Silence”. In fact, as with the hands-on musicianship, that gutsy big-speaker electronic impact is delivered with more certainty, more expertise, more personal flourishes than ever. And all of those elements are more integrated than ever too: the sound of a total musical personality emerging afresh is truly something to behold. An already remarkable talent has been refreshed, reborn and is making the music of his life.

Interception, the second long player from Jensen Interceptor following 2018's Mother, is something of a state-of-the-nation that finds Melas consolidating several eras of his career, past and present, to form a distinct new sound that is the most experimental work he has produced to date.
In 2024, a freak accident at an event he was playing left him with multiple broken bones in his foot. The forced downtime became an opportunity for introspection, allowing him to revisit earlier projects and explore new musical territories. Blending his signature electro with genres such as IDM, footwork, and baile funk, Melas used this recovery period to fuse old influences with fresh global sounds.

"I really wanted to challenge and, I guess, prove myself in other spheres, to take my music to a new place. I've never wanted to be too repetitive and found that expectations, imagined or real, were forcing me to get stuck on a specific sound both in my productions and DJ sets."
This renewal is reflected in the title of the album, which eagle-eyed fans will note is the same as the first EP that was released under the Jensen Interceptor moniker, and the emotional and personal nature of the LP is likewise mirrored in the abstract impressionism of the artwork created by fellow Australian, Brodie Kaman, the artist behind the visual look of Lady Gaga's recent Mayhem LP as well as works for FKA Twigs, Nine Inch Nails, and more. The design-resembling oil drifting across a microscope slide-uses a mix of vivid pastels and moody darks to express the album's emotional depth: a collection of distinct elements coalescing into something richer and more evocative.

Interception, the second long player from Jensen Interceptor following 2018's Mother, is something of a state-of-the-nation that finds Melas consolidating several eras of his career, past and present, to form a distinct new sound that is the most experimental work he has produced to date.
In 2024, a freak accident at an event he was playing left him with multiple broken bones in his foot. The forced downtime became an opportunity for introspection, allowing him to revisit earlier projects and explore new musical territories. Blending his signature electro with genres such as IDM, footwork, and baile funk, Melas used this recovery period to fuse old influences with fresh global sounds.
