Brian Kage, a staple of Detroit’s electronic music scene, brings together a heavyweight
lineup of producers to rework key tracks from his latest album. The legendary Delano Smith
infuses Detroit Techno City with his signature deep and hypnotic touch, while Scotland's
Milton Jackson reworks Just The Groove with a dose of his classic rolling house energy. The
collaborative Reference (Luke Hess & Brian Kage) Remix of Nordhouse leans into peak time

CLASSIC RE-PRESS!. Tony Foster gets the ball rolling with some warm, inviting late night house, with jazzy keys, shuffling beats, and a wandering bassline providing backing for a deep male vocal track. Next up is the first of 2 D-Squared cuts, "Hey Lil Girl", with some great filtered swing samples (Lena Horne) intertwined with a bumping bassline and shuffling house beats for some swinging house grooves that have a distinct dubby touch to them. On the flipside, Delano Smith goes with skipping beats, stabbing chords, and a steady bassline on "Overseas", with them all given dubby delays and run through filters for a tracky house groover for the floor crowds. Last up is the second of the D-Squared offerings, "Detox", with it's heavy kick and wandering funky bassline the main players, joined by textured synths and crisp beats for more late night house goodness.

Originally from Los Angeles and based in Spain, Henry combines classic soul with modern flair in this exciting project. The A-side, "Thankful," is an upbeat tribute to love and friendship, featuring a catchy hook and a drum backbeat reminiscent of Al Green. On the B-side, "Fade Away," Glen Anthony Henry showcases his falsetto in a deeper, more introspective track.
