On the flip side Australian veteran Fantastic Man is shaking things up with a modern Trance

#PF005 ITRIA VOL.3 is a slow techno-inspired cosmic journey that condenses in a single orbit a
great cast of artists coming from different galaxies. It marks an evolution in sound and mood,

The first track by Interstellar Funk is a 100% pure electronic mind-trip, a machined groove where
thoughts still roam frenetically paves the way for a more intimate experience.
Tamburi Neri’s downtempo track shapes a space-time portal in which to sink; their sound is like a
beat echoing from the bottom of the chest and spreading to the tips of the fingers softly.
For the first time, Salamanda co-works with Polifonic framing a Korean unknown soundscape, an
ambient loop track through which we break away from this dimension and move towards the
exotic.
Hiver restore a connection with reality through their pulsating bass. The heartbeat speeds up, but
we still float into a dreamy techno atmosphere.
Claudio PRC & ZIPPO come into play with a powerful combination of techno textures that gets us
to resurface and awaken the senses.

PF004 // The fourth vinyl of Polifonic Records label brings together artists from different cultures
and ethnicities to create a seamless blend of sounds with diverse influences. Encompassing
genres like house, Balearic beat, and acid, harmonized through ambient arrangements and 4-tothe-floor rhythm patterns to chill and groove to, this record is a material embodiment of the
multicultural and polyhedric approach that Polifonic adopts throughout the multiple extensions of
our projects.
The first track “Generations of Sunsets” by Lipelis joining with Andy Butler from Hercules and
Love Affairs, vividly illustrates the extent of their sonic palette: a journey that runs through a
Balearic groove - also with the use of guitar - and expands the mind to exotic places keeping the
body moving with its acid touch.
Italian 90’s riviera house meets percussions and ethnic grooves in the born new track from the
Milano duo Eternal Love. “Kuasi Riviera” reflects perfectly the nature of Polifonic between clubby
atmospheres and connection with the wild world.
Then comes the darker side with Yu Su, who switches it up with new diversions in tempo and
rhythm throughout “Oil” with a blend of deep basslines and obscure soundscapes contributing to
this journey through space and time.
Benedek’s “Desperado” doesn’t shy away from deep diving right back to the 90s Italian house
overlapping bold soundscapes through the lens of a contemporary producer. Distinctive,
immersive, and dauntless.

PF003 // Adriatic 90s nostalgia rages on the sound of PF003 made by Dirty Channels teaming up
with the master of italo/dream house Don Carlos. A 4 tracks EP with two original mixes: while
Adriatico recalls that dreamlike atmosphere through the vocal “paradise”, Tirreno is a fat crowd
shaker tune.
And as the sea is constantly changing its movement affected by the Sun and the Moon, the
homonymous “Adriatico” track comes in various forms moved by multiple forces: the track
appears in a dub mix that makes our souls vibrate and also in a downtempo atmospheric remix
by the head honcho of Studio Barnhus Axel Boman and in a more dancefloor oriented by the

ReKaB drops another strong four-track EP, rooted firmly in the Detroit sound with a nod to the soulful techno styles that shaped the UK underground in the 90s. His second EP for Cologne's YORE Records. The production, as always, is spot on—sharp, detailed, and endlessly listenable. While the tracks carry the weight of tradition, they’re not stuck in it. There’s a fresh, forward-facing energy here that keeps things exciting.

My Inspiration opens with classic metallic strings and a tight, robotic square bass that locks you in straight away. Just when you think you know where it’s going, the vocal drops—a bold touch that shifts the track into more human territory, giving it an emotional pull without losing its edge.

Soul Brother is a late-night cruiser. Rhodes chords, rolling bass, and lush strings set the scene for a proper cityscape vibe. It’s smooth, it’s warm, and it glides effortlessly, all while keeping enough groove to move.

Future Times kicks things up a gear with more tempo and bite. Acidic basslines and a writhing lead sit alongside deep chords, making it equal parts hypnotic and urgent. It’s the kind of track that turns heads in the club—direct and effective without being predictable.

Wrapping it up, Random Fragments pulls things back into a more reflective, dubby space. The layers are rich but restrained, with chirps and analogue echoes drifting through a hazy atmosphere. It’s introspective but not sleepy, the perfect comedown to round off the EP.

ReKaB’s consistency is something else—each release feels like it’s levelling up, pushing his sound forward without losing its roots. This EP is no different. It’s a tight package of ideas, all executed with precision and style. One for the heads, no question.

We last left off with Complementary Minds dropping singles and EPs to keep telling their musical story. But now, we're hyped to present their new album, the second one, Complementary Minds Vol 2 (inevitably out on vinyl and of course on digital versions), it's picking up right where the first one left off and just like that one, it’s out on their label, Terapia Records. Complementary Minds Vol.2 is, as the duo has been treating us to lately, a subtle yet striking evolution from the first chapter of what, and we’re telling you this exclusively, will be a trilogy. The tracks are a mix of influences from all sorts of genres like Hip-Hop, Breakbeat, Electro, House, Acid Jazz and much more. But the compositional style here is more mature, even more aware and refined, less raw than the first album, which showcased their creative talent in an instinctive way. This is a big step in the musical maturity of Luca and Michele. As usual, they flaunt their passion for movies by stuffing the tracks with film references in the form of samples that we challenge you to find, giving you just a few hints: you'll find samples from The Goonies in “Goonietown", Natural Born Killers in "Born Dead” and even Fantozzi Contro Tutti, a wild obsession of our very own Luca, in the track "Rmx & Chips”! Continuing from the first album, the tracks on what should be the first side are named starting with C, so the second side is the D side, kicking off with “Goonietown" and its absolutely smashing four-on-the-floor groove. The dark and brooding mystical energy of "Kim Darkness" takes us into a different sound dimension, from which we inevitably emerge with the fresh vibes of the airy "Hey" and the mellow "Born Dead" before diving into the rhythmic coolness of "Rmx & Chips” which put the END word on the first side. D side starts with “King Of Korea” and its harmonic electro touch which perfectly sets up the following track, the short but intense "M-Time" and the esoteric crypticism of “Damn”. The breathless sprint of Complementary Minds sees the finish line approaching, but not before tackling the sonic leaps of a world crafted by their vintage touch and the late '80s rhythmic evolutions of the ruggedly classy "Explorer '85". “Ambient Kontakt” anticipates the 9th inning of this record with a touch of healthy weirdness, a must by the pair, and sets the stage for the fleeting and dreamy outro of the spacey "O" Omega for the Greek scholars, symbolizing the end, the final letter of the alphabet. The tune is inspired to Jerry Goldsmith’s majestic soundtracks; he composed, amongst others, the music for Alien and Rambo. As the leader of new outfit Sarter Kit, saxophonist Tara Sarter is creating a unique form of minimal, experimental jazz drawing on humanist principles and shared experiences. Her uncluttered and emotionally heavy debut album 'What I am and What I'm Not' creates an open, instrumental soundworld, where breaks and silences command equal gravitas as the notes and beats.
The masterful drumming of Lukas Akintaya dances between oblique patterns in odd meters, into rolling grooves and afrobeat inspired rhythms. On keys and synth, Elias Stemeseder creates tension and releases, with lingering chords and fragile melodies. Stemeseder's synthesizer work throughout the album is subtle yet masterful. Stalking the silence between the sax, drums and piano, creating a haze of digital textures within the margins of the music. Much of the album was recorded live, preserving the raw, unedited energy of their performances.
Beyond its musical qualities, 'What I am and What I'm Not' is a reflection of Sarter's belief in the power of music as a form of human connection. For Sarter, music is not about proving technical prowess but about creating something meaningful, something that transcends barriers and speaks to the shared experience of being human.
