Led by a longing, inquisitive performance from vocalist and underground house music luminary, Love Letters, ‘Cravings’ builds from a simple throbbing bass line to an eruption of lyrical and musical joy. Exploring onset desire – risk, uncertainty, and ultimately, reward – Wallace’s deep and celebratory arrangement interweaves with Love Letters’ queer perspective to deliver universal satisfaction. I've had "Night Safari" for a long time, it's been a favourite of mine for the past few years, I've played it in multiple mixes (including my mix for Resident Advisor) and I was quite eager to have it released on Future Retro London. However, Coco had other plans, wanting to put it on an album he was working on for his label Myor and he was quite adamant on that.

Eventually though, with some persistence and back-and-forth, we were able to work out a deal where I get to release the tune first on a single, with a new tune of his (Into The Groove) on the flipside and then afterwards, he can have the tune for his album (which should be out in a few months time) and everybody wins.

Shout out to Coco for the music (look out for his Computer Love LP coming later this year on Myor, which will feature Night Safari), Alice Palm for her (brief) vocals on Into The Groove and to Rob Halhead on the illustrations used for the artwork.

A natural fit for the Token label and now a regular contributor, Nørbak presents his new release 'Flauta' on the Belgian imprint. Keeping things driving and dense, his productions boast a raw intensity, continuing to describe spacious rooms with roaring atmospheres.

The title track serves as a firm introduction to the project; 'Flauta' is a typical Nørbak A1. Claps on the kick, thick sound design on all levels, and tribal percussion make for an imposing first track. Finding groove in the chaos is never difficult for the Portuguese artist, his seamless blend of functional and mental techno make for quite a recognizable sound with reliable effect. On the other hand, his followup 'Despida' sharpens the tone and focuses its elements. Proving he can do just as much damage with a more minimal approach, Nørbak drops the claps for shakers and whips up a distorted stab as the main driver of the track. Despite the versatility of his records, there is something very homogenous about the tonality of his drums and synths - they seem electric, and 'Despida' truly nails that aesthetic. Moving on to the B side, we have yet another facade of the project. While 'Golpe' has a classic foundation, Nørbak's flamboyant sound design guides the track's arrangement, making anything but a loop. The record's structure makes for clear accents that insist on a pulsating atmosphere. This moves perfectly into the EP's conclusion. 'Camarada' resembles more 'Despida' in the minimal construction, retaining a lot of the squelching lead textures. Mastering the question/answer style of techno, Nørbak is able to capitalize on the tonality of his sonic experiments to create swing on the dance floor. Obscure, quick, and elusive, Nørbak wraps up 'Flauta' with restraint and efficiency.

We are proud to present the next chapter of the Sakskøbing series by the producer who has been making some uproar not just in his native Detroit, but rather around the whole globe that is constantly spinning together with all of us. Gari Romalis is an established name due to his hard work and relentless sound output within our scene. This five track EP is filled with different moods from the classic house uplifters to profound works raging from deep house to electro.

The release is titled “Producer Life”, it is here to shine the light on the life on the path of the sound creator, the challenges and rewards that it brings and the process which it takes to get from point A to point B. The described process has led to the creation of this release and brought it to life for us to enjoy. Great deal of respect and admiration to the maestro of this story, here on this label we hope it will repeat again as soon as possible.

Bristol-based Sex Tapes From Mars continues its vinyl-only odyssey with the latest transmission from Ukrainian, half-Syrian, Nizar, whose Naked Groove EP fuses minimalist techno with a surreal twist, backed with vintage hardware and delivered with robotic precision. An exercise in controlled chaos, the EP embodies the label’s ethos of pushing boundaries through unconventional sound design, where abstract and wiggy, skipping grooves drive forward.

Across its four tracks, the EP navigates through a warped sonic terrain, stitching together fragmented rhythms and glitch-infused textures with a hypnotic, purposeful pulse. Nizar masterfully dismantles familiar late 80s and 90s techno frameworks, creating space for alien melodies, stuttering beats, and deeply physical low-end. The result is a sound that feels both stripped-down and intricately detailed—dance music at its most unhinged, with a raw edge that demands attention. The track's taut frameworks often build tension without release, offering a disquieting and strange dancefloor experience.

Among the highlights is a standout remix of "Mon Amore" by Hearthug, who twists the original into an even more disorienting version of itself—manipulating rhythm, space, and atmosphere to create something warped yet irresistibly groovy and swooning.

With Naked Groove, Nizar solidifies his status as a purveyor of leftfield techno curiosities, delivering a record that’s equal parts alien and captivating, uniquely exploring the fringes of a plethora of genres, and delivering a body of work that’s as unsettling as it is danceable.
