Len Faki recently put out his mammoth LP Fusion, but his new moniker Hardspace finds him harking back to his signature style of specifically editing tracks for his personal club usage.
Working on the album may have helped open him up creatively, but this new project has him investing countless hours and a lot of passion into building the most efficient club tracks imaginable.

Long-time fans of Faki know that he's always edited all of his sets' tracks to uniquely suit his personal mixing style, making his sets sound as tight and cohesive in a way that stands out from the rest. Decades of experience as a producer and DJ for the dancefloor have gone into these edits, re-arranging and re-mixing sometimes forgotten tracks for a new audience. Incorporating his singular understanding of frequencies and floor dynamics, Hardspace is meant to express this side of his musical personality, while Len Faki will continue to explore a more varied approach to producing.

Swapping a lot of weekends away busily touring for much more studio time, the result marks both a technical and also personal achievement for Faki. Improved production skills, tears and emotions all have been poured into Hardspace, which will see a slew of releases in the forthcoming months.

The first volume includes a total of six reworks, both previously unreleased tools of colleague Viers or Helena Hauff's modern acid chug, as well as some 90's classics from Perry & Rhodan, Resist 101 and Ectomorph. All of these tunes have been meticulously pieced together to keep the originals' flavor and ideas, but infuse them with the undeniable power and presence that all Faki produtions have come to hold.

Toy Tonics presents a new producer team: Sound Support consists of two enthusiastic synth and house aficionados that everybody knows (in the scene): Lars Dales from Dam Swindle and Lorenz Rhode (keyboard wizard and producer genius).
Together they are doing extremely groovy, jazz infected dance music that connects the good things of 1990ies house with the indie disco of the 2000s.

Lars Dales & Lorenz Rhode connected through their mutual love for all things musically unusual. After years of having worked together on several projects, such as the Dam Swindle live show, they finally got around to making music together. The result has been nothing less than an avalanche of tracks, mostly made in 4 day coffee fueled studio sessions in Lorenz’ studio in Cologne. All reminding the big funk house tracks of the early 2000s. Yes a lot of Daft Punk is here, A lot of NYC disco influences. Larry Levan and Laurent Garnier, DJ Harvey and Masters at Work.. all influences on this record.

After their first two Sound Support EP’s on Prins Thomas’ label, Internasjonal, they’ve ventured out to House of Disco and other labels with a wide array of immensely enjoyable synth heavy tracks. 2023 sees these two venture more into house territory with releases on AUS music and Toy Tonics, two labels that have cemented themselves deeply into the underground scene. In any case, it’s clear that Sound Support have found its signature sound and there is much more of that to look forward to. Toy Tonics is the key label for the wildstyle house scene and Sound Support fit perfectly. Welcome!

Tresor Records is proud to announce forthcoming special editions of its entire catalogue of Drexciya and related projects. 2022 marks the 20th anniversary of the passing of James Stinson and the releases of the Transllusion and Shifted Phases albums. In recognition, the rightsholders, their families, and the label have commissioned Detroit-based contemporary artist Matthew Angelo Harrison to re-conceptualize the covers of Tresor's Drexciya-related catalogue. These editions will be released sequentially, bimonthly, starting early-September 2022.

The series starts with Neptune's Lair, first released in 1999, with the Hydro Doorways single arriving shortly after. In November, Harnessed The Storm and Digital Tsunami are coming. In 2023 comes the release of Transllusion in February. The series is completed by the long-awaited re-release of Shifted Phases - The Cosmic Memoirs Of The Late Great Rupert J. Rosinthrope - at the end of March.

These records, individually and as a catalogue, represent some of the most crucial moments in the Tresor label history, with the sound and mythic world of Drexciya undoubtedly inspiring generations.

Can't Stop .There seems no better way to describe the work, party and music ethic of Solomun. Carrying the mirror ball on his shoulders like Atlas, it is impossible to imagine the modern disco world without his dynamics. We last left off with Complementary Minds dropping singles and EPs to keep telling their musical story. But now, we're hyped to present their new album, the second one, Complementary Minds Vol 2 (inevitably out on vinyl and of course on digital versions), it's picking up right where the first one left off and just like that one, it’s out on their label, Terapia Records. Complementary Minds Vol.2 is, as the duo has been treating us to lately, a subtle yet striking evolution from the first chapter of what, and we’re telling you this exclusively, will be a trilogy. The tracks are a mix of influences from all sorts of genres like Hip-Hop, Breakbeat, Electro, House, Acid Jazz and much more. But the compositional style here is more mature, even more aware and refined, less raw than the first album, which showcased their creative talent in an instinctive way. This is a big step in the musical maturity of Luca and Michele. As usual, they flaunt their passion for movies by stuffing the tracks with film references in the form of samples that we challenge you to find, giving you just a few hints: you'll find samples from The Goonies in “Goonietown", Natural Born Killers in "Born Dead” and even Fantozzi Contro Tutti, a wild obsession of our very own Luca, in the track "Rmx & Chips”! Continuing from the first album, the tracks on what should be the first side are named starting with C, so the second side is the D side, kicking off with “Goonietown" and its absolutely smashing four-on-the-floor groove. The dark and brooding mystical energy of "Kim Darkness" takes us into a different sound dimension, from which we inevitably emerge with the fresh vibes of the airy "Hey" and the mellow "Born Dead" before diving into the rhythmic coolness of "Rmx & Chips” which put the END word on the first side. D side starts with “King Of Korea” and its harmonic electro touch which perfectly sets up the following track, the short but intense "M-Time" and the esoteric crypticism of “Damn”. The breathless sprint of Complementary Minds sees the finish line approaching, but not before tackling the sonic leaps of a world crafted by their vintage touch and the late '80s rhythmic evolutions of the ruggedly classy "Explorer '85". “Ambient Kontakt” anticipates the 9th inning of this record with a touch of healthy weirdness, a must by the pair, and sets the stage for the fleeting and dreamy outro of the spacey "O" Omega for the Greek scholars, symbolizing the end, the final letter of the alphabet. The tune is inspired to Jerry Goldsmith’s majestic soundtracks; he composed, amongst others, the music for Alien and Rambo. We are more than thrilled to start our Warner Music collaboration with official DocotrSoul reworks for one of the most prolific musicians of the Californian Westcoast/Jazz/AOR/Yacht scene, the one and only Michael Franks, who approved personally the new version. Over the languorous course of 33 years and 16 albums, Michael Franks has mesmerized an international legion of fans with his one-of-a-kind artistry. Seamlessly weaving lyrics of stunning sensuality, wit, reflection and literary eloquence over music that tastefully utilizes top shelf shadings of jazz, soul, pop, chamber and music from around the globe. His music was covered by countless international stars, like The Carpenters, Shirley Bassey, Ringo Star, Natalie Cole, a.m.m. . Parisian producer DoctorSoul is a longtime TSTD collaborateur. These reworks of his have been floating around the internet for some time, we are so proud to finally give them an official release! The D.J. / Remix & Music producer / Sound Designer has collaborated with many artists and bands from diverse genres even in Jazz, bringing production remixes for the likes of legendary Tania Maria, Jeff Cascaro, Mandoo &Interview to name just a few! Chris Liebing's long-awaited remake of Emmanuel Top's 1994 classic 'Turkish Bazar' arrives on CLR this December. Initially released via the Le Petit Prince label, 'Turkish Bazar' is an evergreen club hit, now painstakingly rebuilt by Techno powerhouse Chris Liebing, with each musical element reforged to create an essential new version.

Liebing's version of 'Turkish Bazar' features the instantly recognisable spoken word vocal of the original, while he ups its unmistakable 303 with an additional dose of acid. Raw, unfiltered licks are in tandem with pounding drums as airy pads and dainty sequences aim to soothe dancefloor madness. Len Faki recently put out his mammoth LP Fusion, but his new moniker Hardspace finds him harking back to his signature style of specifically editing tracks for his personal club usage.
Working on the album may have helped open him up creatively, but this new project has him investing countless hours and a lot of passion into building the most efficient club tracks imaginable.

Long-time fans of Faki know that he's always edited all of his sets' tracks to uniquely suit his personal mixing style, making his sets sound as tight and cohesive in a way that stands out from the rest. Decades of experience as a producer and DJ for the dancefloor have gone into these edits, re-arranging and re-mixing sometimes forgotten tracks for a new audience. Incorporating his singular understanding of frequencies and floor dynamics, Hardspace is meant to express this side of his musical personality, while Len Faki will continue to explore a more varied approach to producing.

Swapping a lot of weekends away busily touring for much more studio time, the result marks both a technical and also personal achievement for Faki. Improved production skills, tears and emotions all have been poured into Hardspace, which will see a slew of releases in the forthcoming months.

The first volume includes a total of six reworks, both previously unreleased tools of colleague Viers or Helena Hauff's modern acid chug, as well as some 90's classics from Perry & Rhodan, Resist 101 and Ectomorph. All of these tunes have been meticulously pieced together to keep the originals' flavor and ideas, but infuse them with the undeniable power and presence that all Faki produtions have come to hold.

Label bosses Dam Swindle dive into the label back catalog and compile 2 special edition releases of classics to celebrate 10 years of
Heist Recordings.
Founded in 2013, Heist Recordings has quickly become a go-to house label, giving rise to a vibrant scene of groove aficionados and all things
deep house. Now in the label’s 10th year, Dam Swindle take a moment to reflect on the great tracks that have come out over the years with 2
limited edition compilations of classics.
On this first compilation, the duo starts with the track that helped the label burst onto the scene: Their instant classic ‘The break up’. With its
vintage vocals, Rhodes chops and instantly recognizable bell loop, it’s easy to understand why so many people are still in love with this track. It’s
only fitting that this anniversary release for Heist goes back to where it all started.
The second track on the compilation is from the legendary Detroit outfit Scan 7: Their 2020 track ‘The Best is yet come’ from Heist’s 50th release.
The appearance of Scan 7 on the label turned quite some heads at the time, but in fact, it made total sense. The mutual love for house, key
grooves and that classic Detroit vibe brought Scan 7 and Dam Swindle together and the result was an amazing release full of Midwest electronic
funk.
On the flip, we’ve got Dutch duo Fouk with their first hit on the label ‘Kill Frenzy’, which kickstarted the rise of their signature sound back in 2014.
The release ends with 2 extremely catchy and strong house releases by Demuir and Adryiano. Demuir’s vocal cut ‘Werq. Feel. Gruv. Vogue’. is
one of the highlights in Demuir’s catalog and a showcase of the producer’s knack for sampling and writing a house groove. Adryiano’s piano
house track ‘Me and you and her’ is a perfect ending to this first compilation, showing us that great house music can be as simple as repeating
something over and over and over, until that groove is all you hear.

The unassuming maestro of techno music Donato Dozzy returns to Tresor Records on its 30th year with a new EP entitled 124. The record follows a majestic appearance on the Tresor 30 anniversary compilation and his expert devotion to the Roland TB-303, Filo Loves The Acid. True to form, 124 meddles sharp rhythmic minimalism and diverse textures, each track pushing at the epiphanic threshold as the boss of Spazio Disponibile allows his deeply intuitive productions to take effect.
"messy kafka world" introduces a frenetic and concentrated atmosphere of rhythmic forces, hallucinatory and euphoric in effect. Its dizzying staccato loops are given structure by strengthening beats and bleak synthetic pillars. "synthi chase" emits radical powers, as buzzing rhythms and monotone synths make raw gestures towards altered states. It shares a kindred spirit with "cassiopeia 36", seen in particular through its determined
and primitive pulses, nested within wobbling wood percussion and nervous synth repetitions. "wooden dolls don’t cry" stamps a warm groove, its tempered percussion taking centre stage as shimmering melodic loops threaten spiralling feedback. These dark, hypnotic tracks are flawlessly programmed to cast mesmeric momentums onto club floors and into loosened limbs.
124 represents Donato Dozzy ever-expanding his powers and musical freedom. His innate groove and inventive sound design push minimal and serene techno with a substantial weight and voice that sets him apart from others.

After his first two one-off singles "Black Pegasus" and "Day Without You" introduced DJ Swagger's massive songwriting abilities and love for recording instruments, his first album on Kommerz Records, "Chemistry Forever", showcases his background in UK-leaning elec- tronic music as well as new tendencies towards neo soul, indie pop and jazz. Welcome DJ Swagger to the Kommerz Records stage and prepare for the album to drop on March 22nd.
The 25-year-old from West Germany's Bielefeld is pretty much the archetype of a so-called Wunderkind. At his young age the producer, DJ, multi instrumentalist and songwriter released more than 40 vinyl records including two solo albums and endless rave tracks since turn- ing 16. As of most recently and even though coming from an electronic music background DJ Swagger's creative agenda ventured more and more into classic songwriting and taking over the role of lead vocalist of his one-man-band. His third solo album "Chemistry Forever" show- cases this transformation from UK-influenced electronica towards
neo soul and indie without losing its listeners at any point. His subtle melancholic vocal performance and the just as subtle, yet constant pop appeal make this equation solve itself magically. From electro, 2 step and breakbeat over hip-hop, indie and R&B to a final bebop (!) madness - "Chemistry Forever" is a trip for music lovers while each and every song has heavy potential to be listened to on repeat.
Besides his own vocal performances DJ Swagger also invited rappers TripSixVivo (London), Vitus04 (Bielefeld), Kaba (Paris) and poet Dainell Aiken (NYC) for mesmerizing guest perfomances. Additional production work came from Hamburg dance producer Speckman and jazz outfit Jonas Gersema Trio.
Aaaand since we called him a Wunderkind: Be aware that he's not only a next level musician, but studied graphic designer, illustrator and most likely many more things. Just an example: Most recently he sold self-made perfumed candles through his D.I.Y. label and fashion brand Goddess Music. He obviously designed everything around the album, directed the music videos and merch drops are to be expected.
For us, brothers Lukas and Jonathan, the love story goes way back though. In the midst of the long gone lo-fi house hysteria (2017-2018) we discovered the Bielefeld native's dance floor productions, which fused hip-hop braggadocio with pumping electronic music. We kept following up on his ever evolving musical journey into new genres and felt super honored when he reached out to release his upcoming projects via Kommerz.
