The fourth physical release on the Bristol based imprint sees Out of Sorts join forces with Hekkla for his debut vinyl EP, joined by rising Bristol star Manami with a spellbinding remix of the title-track.
After rising to prominence as a graduate of Martyn's revered mentoring programme, contributing a killer track to the 3-part It Was Always There compilation on 3024, the Eindhoven-based artist has been busy at work in the studio, putting together his debut vinyl release. Reverse Groove combines Hekkla’s own formative clubbing influences with the UK-infused sound that he feels most at home with, to form a set of percussive explorations which feel at home in both Bristol and Eindhoven.
On the A-side, Going In sets the tone with a slice of grime-adjacent UK inspired broken techno, followed up by the title-track Reverse Groove, a melodically-charged techno excursion which balances dancefloor functionality with the broken UK formula.
The B-side sees Hekkla’s broken club sound in full effect on Hardcore Memories, a dubbed-out roller which combines eerie synths with tough drums, whilst Manami morphs the title track into a peak-time trance-licked banger which is guaranteed to blow the lid off any function.

Following the success of their sold out inaugural release, Out of Sorts present their second vinyl release, Farr’s Wide Eye. ??
With Farr’s Bassline Interferometry becoming synonymous with the success of the first release, it only felt right to invite him back for his first full vinyl release, joined by Canadian artist, Ciel, on remix duties. For Wide Eye, the Vienna-based artist sets out on three new dancefloor excursions, each featuring his customary delicate melodies and complex percussion, whilst scouring different corners of the club music continuum. ?
The release starts with title-track Wide Eye, a deep piece of post-grime club bass which weaves a moody atmosphere between spacious vocals and rattling percussion, wrapped around a menacing acid line which cuts through the space to create a claustrophobic finish.
Reticle is a full-throttle club workout where warped bass, gunshots, rewinds, and rave-tinged vocals are all on the table, nestled amongst relentless percussion which bounces between razor sharp two-step, speed garage and dubstep sequencing. A tool for full dancefloor destruction.
Give Me Shelter takes a step away from the weightier side of things, showcasing how easily Farr’s customary rhythmic programming and sound design can be applied to a myriad of different genres. A delicate melody and deliciously colourful bassline are joined by a hypnotic vocal sample and intricate synth work to create a slice of peak-time euphoria.
Ciel has become known for her musical storytelling, and she rounds off the release in usual style with the Give Me Shelter ‘Safe Harbour’ mix. A cheeky irresistible lead melody and Balearic style percussion coalesce with airy synths to leave a sweet taste in the mouth.

Flying Moth is the latest alias from producer Niccolò Terranova, who has already demonstrated his jazz-laden dance music chops through the Justnique project and others. Flying Moth is presented as the artist’s most personal project to date, with the ‘Oh Oh’ EP out on Apparel Music highlighting his ability to deliver highly danceable and beautifully presented soulful dance music that lives and breathes heartfelt moments and emotions.
Channelling a myriad of genres and eras, Flying Moth’s music is about catering to new kinds of experiences through displays of enriching musicality and deeply profound compositions. ‘Tides’ is the next step in Flying Moth’s journey, and it feels right at home amongst the sunny vistas and dancefloors of Soul Quest. The EPs opener, ‘Take you higher’, which was made alongside Renato Patriarca is a groover of the highest order. Allowing plenty of time to embed listeners deep within the mix, the first breakdown emerges with a delightful lead melodic line that embraces the chords. The further this track unravels, the more magic is presented—the flute solo is a notable example of this. ‘Bobby’s here’ shares connotations similar to the previous number, albeit with some subtle differences. The chords swirl and dance, with arpeggios adding cascades of melody alongside the hypnotic rhythm section. Inspired, breathy vocals and a one-of-a-kind key solo at the track’s halfway mark add personality and variance. ‘Always Groove in you’, a joint affair alongside Gondii, and this number wastes no time in getting going. A stripped-back yet varied groove weaves around a deep-set bass sequence, but the show that happens up top is a sight to behold - a continual shift between inspired key work and vocal snippets mean that the track never stands still, only evolves and grows. Introducing ‘Principauté de Bowl-Air’.
A brand-new label founded by DJ Bowlcut from South Korea, a key figure in supporting Seoul’s underground scene through Seoul Community Radio. This project presents his vision of deep, glitchy, minimal house music—woven with the story of a secret micronation hidden in the heart of Seoul.
The debut vinyl release, PBAVINYL001, features an original track by DJ Bowlcut, alongside reinterpretations by his friends DOTT and Rudolf C.
The A-side opens with “Tibetan Bowl”, a track built around the sound of a Tibetan singing bowl and vocal samples taken from a singing bowl tutorial—inviting listeners into the surreal world of Bowl-Air.
The second A-side track, “The Moment”, delivers a minimal yet gritty bassline and a hypnotic minimal house rhythm, layered with glitchy, acidic patterns and a Korean vocal sample that says, “Now it’s the moment you are waiting for.”
The B-side features remixes by DOTT and Rudolf C. DOTT reimagines “Tibetan Bowl” into a deeper, darker exploration of Bowl-Air’s hidden layers. Meanwhile, Rudolf C transforms “The Moment” into a nostalgic machine-funk-style track reminiscent of the early 2000s—perfect for injecting some funk into the dance floor.
