Groovin Recordings move forward with the unreleased series focusing on rising Italian producers. It is now the moment for Peter LC, one of the most interesting young artists in the new italo-house scene. Born with a distinctive passion for Disco and House music, Peter loves to experiment with all the shapes of house from Italo, Deep Tech, and Classic House genres, continually evolving his unique sound. This new EP called "Il Letto. La Porta. La Musica." starts with a journey into early 90’s Italian Riviera, also featuring a remix by legendary Italian producer Don Carlos. On the flip we find "Losing my Feelings", which meets Deep house at its finest, echoing the timeless grooves of Chicago and Detroit, and "Love Calling", a classic piano house anthem, driven by soulful female vocals and pure 90’s vibes.

Diego Ruiz, aka DFRA, is an Argentine music producer very active in the last five years with several productions in the underground deep house scene. Now he's definitely setting the bar at the highest level with this project. He's introducing a full band of musicians with jazzy roots, and the result is a four-track EP that's a clear fusion of how jazz and electronic music merge in a unique way. It incorporates classic Deep House and House sounds plus the fusion of Modal Jazz, Bebop, and Hard Bop style melodies.

Italian producer Kikko Esse is a talented artist from southern Italy who has been showcasing his skills in producing quality deep house since 2009. Previously prolific, releasing many well-received tracks with respected labels in the underground scene, Kikko Esse makes his debut on the Italian Groovin' Recordings with an EP that sets the bar high. Edoardo Florio Di Grazia is a singer-songwriter from the Amalfi Coast, born in Florence and living in Paris. After moving to Paris he began collaborating with the French producer Bruno Hovart "Patchworks", here working under his "Voilaaa" alias. Together, they created "Indossare Il Mare", a hymn to the return to one's origins, characterized by a fresh and Mediterranean sound. After the digital release in France only, Groovin Recordings will release a special vinyl edition for Record Store Day 2024, also including a remix by Giacomo Lecchi D'Alessandro.

Love Letters is the debut album of urban singer-songwriter Raffaella Zago. The first album of the Paduan-born, Milan-based artist contains ten tracks influenced by soul, jazz, funk and hip hop that deal repeatedly with the theme of love. In 2023, Raffaella Zago quickly attracted attention with her first official song, a nu-soul reinterpretation of "Money Trees", a song by the most praised rapper of the last decade, Kendrick Lamar, for which she composed a new melody. The other pieces of "Love Letters", in which she addresses people who have been or are part of her life, reaffirm her vocal, writing and composing skills.

In 1993 they released only few singles that still represent a landmark in the early 90's deep-house scene. “Keeping my Mind” will be out in late January with the same tracklisting of the original release, just like “So in Love”, that is going to be repressed in February.

Kléo s second release Acid Coolada’ is a meticulous blend of deep, groove-heavy acid house elements with a spontaneous flair and live instrumentation, striking the perfect balance of fiery heat and warm groove.

2023 saw the birth of Kléo’s label Call 4 Rhythm, brought into the world with her much-lauded debut EP 'Agogo'. Now, exactly a year later, hotlines have opened once again as the next call for rhythm is upon us. ‘Acid Coolada’ retains Kléo's direct and honest attitude, but this second offering also unveils a bold new live approach. Carefully layering compelling house elements with live keys by Dion Groebe the two tracks diverge into vigorous, alternative directions like contrasting sides of the same coin. The result is another essential offering for discerning dancers, ready to be put on speed dial.

Opener ‘Acid Coolada’ starts off unapologetically and pulls us straight to the dancefloor. In case you were wondering whether the title is referring to a brisk after sun ritual or a spicy party cocktail, it’s definitely the latter. Located somewhere in the middle of a jackin’ pit we’re greeted with acid house, jazzy progressions and unmistakable live twists and turns. Be prepared to get stuck—though in the best way, as Dion Groebe guides us with a reckless Rhodes solo in full live mode throughout the whole track. The frenzy swallows you up in a relentless, euphoric ride that seems to have no end, and perhaps no begining— being present is what matters most here.

The flip side takes a trippy turn, ascending to a moodier realm of the galaxy. With ‘Sand Waves’ Kléo reveals a deeper side of herself. The jackin’ touch is undeniably there, but this side lifts off more gently, slowly immersing into a spacey synth journey, highlighted by Groebe’s playful live keys wandering like a lizard eagerly exploring a rocky surface. As ‘Sand Waves’ unfolds into another dance floor igniter, the blazing heat of 'Acid Coolada' cools down beneath a sweeping breeze reminding us that we’re getting that ‘feel good’ after-sun ritual after all.

Kléo has been earning her stripes over the past decade and a half as both a distinct visual artist and well-respected dj. Refraining from the mainstream narrative she always remained close to her heart to express the unsaid. As her path embarks on to the next chapter it’s with great passion that she presents the first outing on her newborn label Call 4 Rhythm. A mind dazing invitation to let go and sense the raw, the rough. As much as it’s an authentic yet rugged dance floor affair, it guards the spirit and virtue of honesty. Elements which have been the backbone throughout every form of art she has shared over the years.

Dial 1 for ‘Deep Agogo’ sets off nostalgically, lingering keys remind of long gone days while menacing lines of acid make their way through the surface to ease in between robust percussive beats.

The flip houses the devastating Chicago-infused version, a statement bewildered by forceful 303 execution. Don’t be surprised if ‘Let’s Agogo’ prompts filthy facial expressions along the smouldering moments of this jackin’ beat-down. Roughly eight minutes to soar in total let go.

Loredana Berte' is an artist that needs no introduction. Her musical career started in the mid seventies and year by year she proved to be one of the most iconic italian singer and performer. Groovin Recordings in conjunction with NAR International is now repressing two songs from Loredana's 1980 album on a 7 inch, "E La Luna Busso'" and "In Alto Mare". Two great reggae and funky tunes, 40 years after their original release, still sounding full of their original groove. Officially licensed and remastered.
