Next up is Intuition, a contemporary techno/trance duo from the coast of Catalonia, Spain. This hard-hitting release features the iconic Arcana 17, a pure hard trance anthem that debuted at KI/KI's Amsterdam Boiler Room back in2022, as well as Soulstealer, their take on a rolling, hypnotizing monster.
Aeryeen (1/2 of the duo) is in charge of the B-side, taking a more emotional approach with dreamlike pads and ever-evolving arpeggios backed by psychedelic atmospheres.

Next on KI/KI's slash imprint is DINA. The Berlin-based DJ and producer and co-founder of Nachtcrew has been a very welcomed guest on KI/KI's all nighter party in Amsterdam's Lo-fi which resulted in a close friendship and ultimately an exciting label debut on slash.
Her sounds could be described as etheral trance, it's fast paced, yet emotive and very functional. And for slash007 she brings nothing less. Four tracks of dreamy escapism into the long nights. It's an impressive combination of immersive basslines transforming into huge amounts of dancefloor euphoria.

KI/KI's slash label takes a deep dive into the history of hard trance and proudly presents a first re-issue of a true classic and personal favorite 'Emerald' by Swiss production group Artemis. Originally released back in 1995 on the Swiss label Atoom Records, it's one of the most sought after gems from this era. At its fast pace of 180 bpm it's impressive how subtle and dreamy the 9 minute journey is, a truly unique piece of hard trance history. Remixes come from Sansibar, Alpha Tracks and label owner herself KI/KI.

Spanish producer Vilchezz debuts on slash with one of KI/KI's longest awaited dancefloor hits to date. The title track Camelo's is doing rounds in her DJ sets for a couple of years and is easily the highlight of many gigs, finally the day is now there to present it on her own slash label.

It all started just with a Soundcloud demo a year ago when Fasta Danza crew member Vilchezz shared some of his new music with KI/KI. Now residing in Budapest, his new EP also marks a significant change in styles for Vilchezz, with his new works leaning more towards energetic, trance tinged hard grooves. And that's exactly the sweet spot where he meets KI/KI and her slash imprint. After playing the Camelo's demo inside-out around the world a full release is now finally formed. A full pack backed with another original Eskorbuto - which feels like a future classic uplifting trance drifter - and three remixes another chapter on slash is there.

For the remixes KI/KI and Vilchezz invited Oslo based trance producer and UTE.REC label co-owner Filip Storsveen aka Oprofessionell. He turns Camelo's into a magnificent introvert eyes closed club weapon. Where Glasgow's Animal Farm resident AISHA comes in fierce with a powerful early 00's twist combined with an impeccable psy drive. And to finalize the pack, fast rising star CAIVA reworked Eskorbuto by adding her own vocals to the original and by doing so she adds an impressive, emotive festival banger to a well rounded set of modern trance gems.

The compilation contains a selection of dancefloor favourites curated by KI/KI herself that have been intensively road tested during her gigs in the past year.

Opening slash002, Copenhagen's Peachlyfe delivers a deviously ambient interlude. Rising into a transcendent crux, 'Sane & Awake' flirts with breakbeat's signature percussive style, teasing a drop, before taking a U-turn, panning out into evermore blissful peaks. Full of bounce, DJ Lucid brings the build with 'Entry Plug', drawing together dramatic strings and a pounding kick drum, while Narciss expertly splices up a haunting vocal fragment on 'Once More With Feeling'. Geared towards festival stages - huge crowds and height-of-the-night summer climaxes - the record takes its cues from the hedonism of the 1990s, delivering a powerful punch that's anything but backward facing. DJ Car Keys, part of Dutch-pop sensation Goldband, makes a special appearance in his debut as a solo producer. Closing the B-side, 'Spinning' is a 155-bpm belter, where a looped hit-hat collides with psychedelic spoken word passages. More

slash003 turns more introspective, recalling darkened, brooding club basements. Launching off, DJ Hyperdrive more than lives up to his namesake. 'Starburst' rockets at light speed, its space-age momentum conjuring a retrofuturist fantasy. Amour Noir's 'Sunday Morning' is a love letter to dance floors, its choral-style vocal and gliding synth alluding to the reverence of liturgical music. Tbilisi's Bassiani resident Newa transposes a wiggy acid bassline onto a steely techno pulse, then for 'Astral Recall' (one of KI/KI's most played songs of 2022) Arman John partners a driving beat with a lucid melody, crafting a hybrid flex that melds genres and moods seamlessly. The Austrian born artist Alpha Tracks will be kicking off the very first release of slash with 2 original tracks and remixes from Format (aka Orlando Voorn) and slash founder KI/KI. Previous releases on BPitch, Blue Hour and Morbid were already a showcase of pure craftsmanship by Alpha Tracks, now on slash he's showing his consistency yet again, delivering high quality as always. With a love for analog hardware sound, the producer turns fast paced bangers, with a bit of imagination, into beautiful subtle techno ballads. Always with their own story to tell, while never losing his focus on the drive and ready to bring audiences around the globe into a trance.

Orlando Voorn's alias Format keeps the energy high with but smooths out the ride for the remix of the original, where bumpy synths bubble and echo, keeping you interested until the very last second.

Remixing the last track is label owner KI/KI unleashing her first music into the world. Her remix are inspired by '90s rave memories which she never got to experience.
