Revered Swedish producer Sebastian Mullaert releases his first exclusive vinyl on Default Position after the huge success of his remix to Vedanta in 2014. Sebastian first made his name as one half of the acclaimed duos Minilogue and Son Kite, but in recent times focuses on his solo career, which sees him appearing at clubs and festivals all over the world and releasing on some of the industry's most respected labels and imprints. Samunnati is a brand new double vinyl EP featuring four original mixes from Mulleart, with remixes from fellow Swedish duo Johanna Knutson & Hans Berg, Belgium's Daniel[i] and label founder Joseph S. Joyce. Its genesis lies in a melody recorded live on Sebastian's Roland SH101 which has been resampled and processed in many different ways, offering several contrasting mixes to suit many different tastes and styles. This record is named after Vedanta, an ancient philosophy based on the Vedas, the sacred scriptures of India. The music, originally composed and produced by Joseph S Joyce and later remixed by Sebastian Mullaert of Minilogue, was greatly inspired, after reading commentaries from Swami Rama Tirtha's biography "The Scientist & Mahatma" - Chapter 1 - Vedanta and The Secret of Success. In the book he states: "Vedanta requires you to work for its own sake. In order that your work should be successful, you should not mind the end or care for the consequences or the result.
