Divine Situation are Greg Belson is a veteran DJ and one of the premiere collectors of soul music worldwide. He's known as the go to authoritarian for Gospel Soul music, is the compiler of the Divine Disco series on Cultures of Soul and presents his radio broadcast Divine Chord Gospel Show on LA's dublab.com creative hub.
and Paulo Fulci is a DJ and producer out of Bristol UK. His work as part of the Situation edit crew has been released and supported as part of the underground for many years….he now spends his days slangin' records, whilst honing his disco scalpel skills in the late twilight hours.

Number 39 brings us three more obscurities lovingly edited by label head honcho Diesel with the funky as hell Feels So Good leading the EP. Kicking off the B side you will find a great Latin version of Ian Dury's Wake Up, then rounding off the EP is Discomora classically cut and spliced to perfection for your dancefloor pleasure. Diesel comes up trumps on the latest Moton release love all three tracks.
Starting with Feels so Good which is a great midtempo soulful West Coast flavoured bomb that's driving me mad trying to remember the original. Next up is the killer Latin cover version of Ian Dury's Wake up a sure fire floor filler that guarantees a rush for ID requests any time I play it ... Love it & will be playing for some time to come! Finally Discorama operatic disco for the leftfield floors all in all a top release from Moton. Moton 39 returns with an EP of music that is as epic as it is operatic as it is just pure funky. Moton Records celebrates its 50th release!

We are proud to announce our 50th release sees a return for The Mighty Zaf, who did Moton 38 back in 2018 - our biggest selling Moton release to date. After four years of inactivity, largely due to the passing of best friend and genius engineer Phil Asher, Zaf has teamed up with Linkwood and created a spellbinding EP every bit as good as his previous Moton release.

‘Things Could Be’ is gospel soul funk killer and was made before its original creator Quincy Jones passed away recently; ‘Connect Here’ is one for the disco funk boys; ‘Gee Oh Dee’ is an obscure left-field disco gospel banger.

Rocky x press 2: Another mighty 3 track ep of killer cuts from Moton. Perfect companion to the Ghosted Edits 49th release. Loving all 3 edits but Things Could Be is a worthy a side and definitely my favourite. A tribute to the late Quincy Jones and a little nod to Phlash on the label. Class all the way. Massive props to Zaf and the Moton crew.

Two huge edits by Gospel Soul music authoritarian Greg Belson & veteran edit crew, Situation member Paulo Fulci.

Greg Belson has been the host of The Divine Chord Gospel Show since 2011 on dublab.com, and has shared his record collection to an ever growing worldwide audience.

Over the last 4 years, he's assembled DJ tours around Europe to spread the gospel directly to the dancefloors of more discerning clubs, and it was at Glastonbury Festival specifically the NYC Downlow stage that he met Paulo Fulci. 'Born Again' became a reality and in the Summer of 2017, was road tested on Belson's tour of 50 dates over 3 months.

His work as a compiler of releases on Cultures of Soul & Harmless Records have garnered support from all sides of the music industry from The Guardian to BBC Radio 6 Music.

Now as 'Divine Situation', Belson & Fulci are returning to the underground sound with a slew of edits, starting with these back to back club-tested heavy hitters.
