On its 25th release, Delights label welcomes Mozaik Ses - a new collaboration between the Tel-Aviv-based funk combo VuVuVu, the pioneering Munich legend JJ Whitefield (The Poets of Rhythm, Karl Hector & the Malcouns), and Delights head honcho, Markey Funk. Together, the group cooked two pieces of scorching eastern-flavoured funk: the hypnotic mind-melter "Aralkum" and the menacing upbeat floor-killer "Zellij".

SimfOnyx return to Delights with a new genre-bending double-sider. The Haifa-Jerusalem duo SimfOnyx is unleashing another pair of tunes recorded in the same session as their previous instalment, "Der Maulwurf/Eolomea". Just like on their earlier releases, Shuzin and Markey Funk continue expanding their sound, crossing and connecting different genre territories under the wide umbrella of cinematic, psych-spiked grooves. This time, the two are channelling the free spirit of West German library kings Klaus Weiss and Peter Thomas to reflect on current political events in their home country. The dark and dubby slow-burner "Putsch. Teil Eins" is backed by the aggressive floor-smashing funk of "Widerstand" on the flip side.

Delights label is kicking off 2023 with a new cinematic funk double-sider that brings together some of the label's regulars. Pyrope is a studio collaboration between Paul Osborne (Project Gemini), Paul Elliott (Oregano/Eleven76/The Library Music Film), Yael Lavie ("Silk and Gunpowder"/Leviot) and Delights head, Markey Funk. On their first 7'', the four are channelling the spirit of the 1960s European thrillers to create two dramatic upbeat cuts - "The Duel" and "Broken Spell" - that blend sinister crime funk with eerie folk horror psychedelia.

Delights label is wrapping up the year 2022 with yet another project from the restless minds of Shay Landa and Markey Funk. With Voxatone, the two set to explore the otherworldly sound qualities of vintage keyboards with "vox" in their name: the 1950s Univox keyboard, the 60s Vox Continental organ and the 80s Soviet Polivoks synthesizer. Joined by Elia Yakin on drums and Estonia's most prolific artist today, Misha Panfilov, - on Vox Phantom bass, Shay and Markey have crafted yet another way-out groovy psych double-sider: the mid-tempo mind-bender "Figure I.108" and the upbeat floor-stormer "Figure III.122" - on the flip.

Following the last year's successful release by Oregano, Shay Landa and Markey Funk return to Delights with a new way-out collaboration - The In Sound Company. The new 45 is a result of another spontaneous session at Toybear studio, where the two were joined by the power duo Left on guitar and drums. "Silk and Gunpowder" is an eastern-flavoured psych jam, led by the prolific kanun player Yael Lavie (Leviot, Spiritczualic Enhancement Center). On the flipside, the company welcomes Project Gemini's Paul Osborne on bass for the wild upbeat cut "Our Tin Can Rocket", which blasts off to the outer space fuelled by Landa's arsenal of vintage keyboards.

Delights imprint continues its venture in way-out cinematic grooves with a debut 45 from Oregano - a new collaboration between Shawn Lee, Paul Elliott (JetTricks, Eleven76, Hot Border Special), Shay Landa (RPS Surfers) and Markey Funk. Initially recorded just a few hours ahead of the Tel Aviv premiere of The Library Music Film in early 2019, the first pair of cuts from this session has been taking shape throughout the global pandemic. The result is two pieces of otherworldly sci-fi psych-funk, featuring mesmerising flute by Roey Bar Yehuda (RPS Surfers): the meditative organ and synth-drenched slow-burner, Melting Sand on the A-side, and the quirky uplifting Transmitter on the flip.
