Visions Recordings is really excited and happy to present the brand new single from Kriss a.k.a.Life Recorder with a 4 tracks Ep, TIME MOODS 2 , the sequel of TiME MOODS released in 2021.

Based in the city of Marseille , South of France, Life Recorder is no new to the Detroit and Chicago house scene and has released a few great singles on various label such as Aesthetic audio and Hizou , but also on his really great imprint Life Notes Records.

We Loved so much the first EP and we got so many people into it , that we decided to do a follow up of TIME MOODS and the outcome is once again time amazing . The 4 tracks are all really great jams going from deepness to acid and soulful vibes keeping the Chicago house feel and the dance floor grooves with a really crisp and heavy sound, the specific sound of LIFE RECORDER.

Sohan Wilson is a young composer and arranger keyboard player from Switzerland. Half of duo Keys of Lynx, Sohan sent us his album almost 2 years ago and we were totally impressed with the quality and the soulful vibe. He asked us if we were interested in releasing it and we said yes.

For this first album the inspiration came from the 70’s and the 80’s with a touch of contemporary soul and jazz. The A side holds 4 tracks entirely recorded with musicians for a total acoustic and organic experience like « in the old days « while the B side is made with Beats and a more electronic soulful approach. This album tells a story, almost like a movie and thats why its a complete album to listen from beginning to end and enjoy the full experience of Sohan Wilson first solo Long player. Featuring the amazing voices from Dwight Trible and Brian Owens this album sounds already like a future classic that you want a listen over and over again. More

Sohan Wilson is a very talented composer and arranger from Switzerland . He’s also half of Keys of Lynx duo that delivered an awesome ep 2 years ago on Visions Inc.

Sohan is into soul, jazz funk and grooves . On the A side he delivers a killer dancefloor journey into future jazz funk fusion playing keys , piano and a mad bassline with attitude and grace. Followed by Brazilian maestro Zopelar on the remix duties and you got already a dope first taste of what s coming soon on the album.

On the b side Sohan collaboration with Dwight Trible is just a perfect combination between soul boogie 80’ s vibe with a jazz feel . Then Alex Attias took the stems and made his version between a remix and an edit and the single is now complete with two mellow jams for the ears and legs . More

Alex Attias, El Mustang Project is back with a new album. This second opus features full of new collaborations with on vocals Cecilia Stalin, Rouhangeze and Desney Bailey. Alex worked as well with the keyboardist and instrumentalist genuises Sohan Wilson and Hajime Yoshizawa and with Saxophonist friend Arthur Donnot and Alina Bzhezhinska on Harp.

This Album has been made during a two years period between 2019 and 2021. This is a reflection of the various musical styles Alex was listening at home enjoying producing during the lockdown. The 8 first tracks feature a selection ranging from jazz to disco without the dancefloor in mind. It was a various and distant collaborations for the first time and the result is a selection of 12 tracks “ but only 8 for the limited vinyl album”. The remaing tracks are on the ep “life” that came out late december 2021. More

The name Jaxx Madicine suggests a wide range of influences – “Jaxx” obviously being a tilt of the hat to the original rhythms and basslines born out of Chicago house while the “XX"s suggest a keen passion for jazz.These are the two main ingredients used by the projects founders Turbojazz and Parker Madicine, who are joined by the talented and mysterious Veez_0 - a young Italian piano player that you’re bound to hear more from in the near future.Turbojazz plants his roots in the rhythms and futuristic sounds of the Broken Beat golden age while Parker Madicine leans more towards the sounds and timbres of Detroit’s spacey atmospheres. These two musical worlds are married by Veez_o’s incredible playing and harmonic backing. To get a proper idea of what this is about you should consider George Duke in his peak cosmic period jamming in a studio with “High Tech Jazz"-era Underground Resistance before joining Pete Rock for dinner and then heading to a Roy Ayers concert. A certified classic from a Philly soul legend, Garfield Fleming, that never fails to hit you right in the heart. Already one of the most sought after 12 inches out there, the popularity of 'Don't Send Me Away' was cemented when a video of Garfield himself signing the track at a Paris record stall in late 2018, went viral with nearly 3,000,000 views to date.

With original 12 Inch copies trading hands for £300+ it was high time a remastered reissue hit the shelves, giving a whole new generation of listeners the chance to bask in the glory of this unquestionable anthem. More

New Zealand disco-boogie outfit Flamingo Pier plant some Brooklyn roots with their fresh new ‘Beneath the Neon EP’ on Razor-N-Tape. Known for parties in East London and their massive hometown festival, as well as previous releases on Soundway, the Kiwi collective deliver a trio of new songs that solidify and expand their signature danceable blue-eyed indie-soul sound.

Lead off single 'How 2 Feel' shows a clubbier side of the band, with a pulsating house rhythm track and layers of angular synth stabs, vibey horn lines, and vocal chants. 'Beneath the Neon' and 'Remedy' are more familiar Flamingo Pier territory, upbeat indie disco anthems that boast incendiary vocal hooks, funky guitar work, and crisp production by Luke Walker.
