We’re more than proud to present the first album on our label. A few words from the maestro, Anton Kubikov:

What was the first egg or chicken remains a mystery to me. But what is absolutely clear - the first was the sound. And to this day, the defining in my settings is one or another wave ripple. After many of my dub releases, I decided to follow the big bang path and create an album from one point and bloom like a flower bud, filling it with different shades, micro-changing the waves of each track, adhering to the monochrome of the first point, or rather the chord. Ambient Occlusion is not a sound concept, but one way or another defining the sound of the album, when the missing is filled with the drawing algorithm. And yet, with all the technogenic description, the feelings and sensations of the surrounding space and time in which the creation took place were at the forefront. It remains personal and I hope I was able to convey the invisible that appears at the fingertips when a spark occurs. Separately, I want to note the history of the creation of the album cover by Anja Kubik, since it is already a separate art object in itself, made by hand on canvas using a unique embroidery technique and complementing the sound system of the album.

Another strong collaboration for Stately Records as they celebrate their third release, together with Swiss Dub Techno wizard Alessandro Crimi. Already producing music for over 20 years from his headquarters in Baden, Switzerland Alessandro is playing a big part in the development of the beautiful sound of Dub Techno. Besides his own productions he is the founder of the label Waehlscheibe, which has seen 10 vinyl releases and celebrate their 10th anniversary this year. Also anno 2022 there is a lot of magic coming from his hands, with a recent sold out record on ETUI Records, and more in the future he will be part of a great VA coming out on Roger Gerressen’s Irenic.
His work for Stately Records is once again a super diverse ep, with music for every mood. 2 cuts for the dancefloor, with ‘Transcendent’ sending us on an extended melancholic trip & ‘The Space Between Everything’ being the more uplifting work. Besides that, both sides are accompanied by 2 experimental cuts. On the A-side we find the amazing ambient work ‘When Darkness Turns into Light’ and on the B-side the title track ‘Moonward’, a fast paced, bass heavy track which shows no mercy.

This artist who became a real friend and mainly one of the head artist of the label is one of the talented producer in the recent electronic music circus. Immer, the main track of this release, gathers a collection of generous and deep sounds sprinkled with hypnotics’ synths: No mistake. The Italian Nico Lahs (Ovum, Poker flat...) gives us a brilliant own interpretation playing with the bass through acid touches. Definitely underground. Schub the second original of this opus confirms Daso’s potential to produce Deep House. Strong original themes, romantic piano, voices and Rolland’s drums are a sweet taste of springs.
