Vincent Koreman a.k.a. Drvg Cvltvre has been cultivating its perfect mix of Techno, Electro and Acid for a few decades, varying speed as his gusto, without removing an iota of intensity or darkness. His high volume of work means that he publishes almost everything through his New York Haunted label, but his productions have also shone on renowned labels such as Pinkman, Viewlexx, Shipwrec, Permanent Vacation or OMNIDISC. The New York Haunted label owner "Drvg Cvltvre" drops 3 new tracks on Concrete Records. Strong synths, acid bass lines and aggressive sounds are the elements that always characterized Drvg Cvltvre's music, in this EP he shows another more sophisticated and personal side: pads and ambient suggestions coexist with the strong basslines and rhythms. A different approach that gives a more deep and mental oriented tone to the tracks. A lot of percussion add raw sound characterized this three tracks, a just balance between the raw house genre and the violent techno sound.

The third release on the sister label, NEW YORK TRAX Imports, comes from the legendary Dutch producer and founder of one of the most eclectic underground record labels, Vincent Koreman aka Drvg Cvltvre of New York Haunted. Since 2009, Drvg Cvltvre has been working on his own blend of dystopian acid, no wave, and experimental house. Respected in the international underground for his groundbreaking work in experimental techno as RA-X in the 90's on labels like Bunker and KK Records, Drvg Cvltvre comes from a DIY punk background and opts for hard work rather than hollow pose. The 4-track EP for NEW YORK TRAX Imports is an accurate representation of his style: dark and melancholic, but also uncompromisingly intense.

Super smooth release on NNY Records full of lush and sensual tracks. On the A side we can listen to Nicson (Flumo Recordings) who delivers an excellent "Straight To Heaven" in a Deep-House 90's mood, full of energy and class; after him F. Vinuesa (Solid Tapes) approaches Lo-Fi and Acid paths with "Highlands", a tune that is is capable of transporting you to another dimension. On the B side Mateis e. aqir (Jungle Gym Records) presents "Natural Sense", a track that also takes you to a different dimension, this time more oriented to open spaces, in a Balearic and New Age mood fused with a leftfield touch which is a delight; and to close the compilation we have the great work of I See You In The Plants, the new aka by Pablo Diskko for productions in an ambient techno-dub wave that absorbs you and catches you. A superb and an essential work.
