"I created KAOS as the ultimate DJ weapon toolbox. It's purpose was to make records that could save a night or a mix. Records that melted the eras, the places. Altamira caves, Santander 34.000 B.C. One of the oldest archeological sites on planet earth, just 30 mins away by car was born and raised P.E.A.R.L. Following the primitivism of those who preceded him, Poor Lord is an act of pure Neanderthal techno, stomping, explosive and classic hardcore flavor, can't wait to elevate Herrensauna peak time pressure with this.
And as if this was Rotterdam records. Dimi forgives that front left 2-step raver facing down with, a small break and a sublime kitsch hardcore line, expertly driving by the solo project of one half of AnD.
After the massive remix for Peder on KAOS04 OnScreenActor comes back with his first solo production. I talk to him via an intermediate and I still have no clue who is the responsible of this music, although I do not care. For me TACHI is the greatest production ever released in KAOS. Finest murky hyperdisko.
u.r.trax was born in this millenium, met her when she was working as artist care of Possession last year, not sure even she had the legal age to go in but her classy and freaky bangers should be definitely sounding in the mighty Paris rave. Folge Mir is just a small showcase of her big talent. Follow her.

The day that I met u.r.trax she was doing the artist care for POSSESSION Paris. I believe we met after every possession party I played after that one and I definitely noticed something sparkling.

Her young age, her arty vision, her continuously growing DJ and production skills, Folge Mir and her passion for the music were key facts to be the first player getting a KAOS sublabel under her name. She is also preparing some upcoming unique projects which makes her one to watch in the upcoming years.

As a kid of the Parisian raves, MORAL KRISIS would be her signature style this songs are oscillating between the finest trance and the rawest club techno, (which I call techno-trance) the use of her own vocals give quite a stamp for her sound. Being suitable for a dark basement or an open air (I believe we will have some of this last ones more or less soon)

From KAOS we are very proud to release her first solo EP on vinyl. For more to come.

Donato Basile has spent his whole life fighting for the music scene in his country. Making music, running a record store DJing in legal and illegal parties. We can't deny that we are in front of one of the mainstays of the Italian scene.

When we thought I've seen it all we discovered him, after his EP on OAKS. The live act just blew our heads away on Intercell last winter. His music is a compendium of rave musics and cultures twisted elegantly, focused but not taking itself too serious. This 4th music bombs are the proof that not everything is invented.

Striking back the way we like it.

With a primitive approach the duo Fractions initiates this ritualistic 12" with a hyper-disco trance induced big room smasher.

As it follows Lars Huismann burns it with a tune that could be directly extracted from a 2000's mighty label like Primate, danger funk alert.

Heavily influenced by the present music the hit of this record has a name, She Won't Make Me Sad. Jheal Bashta pushes once again the limits of the urban music transforming this trap track into a unique piece of dance floor techno music not easy to forget. Sang by his brother Metal Fence.

Closing the issue Kontain's Paradox, will melt the heart and the shoes of those who can still on the dance floor (one of the tracks that I've been playing in the last parts of my sets lately the most).

Braindance is the second, highly anticipated, collaborative EP from Irish producer DJ Mudak 2000 and French producer FTL, landing on their new label as the debut release.

Produced in Dublin & Paris, the two prolific junglists have encapsulated the intricacies of modern jungle while still highlighting the emotive elements of yesteryear.

The first track "I Wanna" begins as a fantastically light, classic jungle track with piercing soul vocals that unpacks into a soaring brawl of amens and intense 808s. A great representation of the duality of light and dark elements which make this whole EP a standout.

Canada's Solar Phenomena presents three DJ Sotofett remixes of Tokyo producer Mystica Tribe. With a unique and unpredictable approach, Norwegian DJ Sotofett who runs Sex Tags Mania, Amfibia and Wania opens the remix EP with "Ash of Dub Mix", and as the names suggests, a fat dub with huge rubbery kicks, oodles of echoing hits and a spaced out curiousness that sonically draws inwards. No stranger to the label, Regent contributed to src005 last year with his smooth techno roller ‘Off Agenda’ alongside music from Neri J, Alpha Tracks, Vil & Cravo. His tracks have featured heavily in DJ sets by label founders Blue Hour and Philippa Pacho over the years, naturally the idea to present the first artist EP on positivesource with Regent comes as no surprise.
