Lovanda is a husband and wife team from Russia who now step up for the eighth release on the Dobro label. They link up with some of their creative friends for an eight-track outing that brings plenty of uplifting vocal sounds to the fore. 'Samolet' feat Lipelis & Liza Gromova kicks off with acid-laced happy house drums and piano-packed grooves. 'Venera' has a compelling broken beat and glassy melodies while 'Kiwi' is a deeper and warmer cut for the later hours.
