The label say: Raw, melodic and urgent. That is what Kmyle and his “Come Back” 12” are about.
Hailing from the South of France, Kmyle needs to be urgently reevaluated and appreciated. All three songs here are complex, harmonious and relentless. They create the landscapes for the dancefloors we so desperately need.
Kmyle is the future of techno and "Come Back" is the second release on Still Techno. More

After a successful first release on his own label imprint, Kmyle decided to drive the point home with this second opus named "Catharsis EP". A concentrated energy of 3 powerful tracks who give us a hypnotic dancefloor trip and one remix from the imposing veteran Drumcell, which brings us back to the roots of techno with its own dark groove vision, made for the wet and warm atmosphere of long rave nights.

Kmyle - Keroual (Zadig 'Day is Dying' remix)
After a ten EPs in few years on respected labels such as Clergy, ARTS, Mord and an acclaimed debut album on Skrypto¨m, young and promising techno producer Kmyle is back on the French label Astropolis Records with ‘Keroual EP’, 3 originals and a stunning remix from French veteran Zadig. A contemporary EP that embodies all Kmyle’s technical and elegant techno, energy and his singular melodic synth work. First up, A1 with the eponym track ‘Keroual’, in reference to Astropolis’ setting, a beautiful trip to its fairyland and a large electronic universe, with emotive melodies and light chords. An enchanting meditative and dancing track, as well-suited for the dancefloor as it is for home listening. Samy steps the tempo up on A2 with ‘Telegraph’ and falls into darkness, undulating slowly in an evil dance, with a tense melody, a rumble bassline and a hypnotic techno. A metallic tune that works on every dancefloor. On the flip side, ‘Syncopa’ keeping the drive from A2, seems tailored for a huge night with a forceful kick and a booming energy on its introduction, rapidly caught by a dramatic, intense and sizzling melody, enigmatic atmospheres and euphoric chords. A big tune for a big floor with a hammering beat and a delicious dark groove. French well respected producer Zadig ends the EP with a brutal and gloomy version of ‘Keroual’, under a « Day is Dying remix », a wink to his hardcore project. An obsessful kick with a ravey '90s vibe turning violently the track in a stripped-back hardcore version and its intensity. Uncompromising and raw, quite cinematic at the beginning, slow-burning to madness. A pleasant chaos anthem dedicated to industrial atmospheres. This new release from Astropolis Records is a perfect blend between old school rave culture, rock-solid tunes and a modern palate of techno, feeding a melodic and melancholic sensitivity.

kmyle - Rising (Reflec Remix)
CRG012 welcomes back French artist Kmyle. After a successful debut with Bell Departures [CRG008] Samy returns with 4 originals and a hammering remix from Reflec. Starting with the A1 we have 'Hypnosis'. A track that comes to life with the beautiful introduction to the pads giving the perfect balance to the distorted synth work. Following this we have 'Walker Valley' that leans more towards the hypnotic side yet still keeping the drive from the A1. Across to the B side where we feature both the original and remix of 'Rising'. This track takes us on more of a melodic journey slowly building up to a higher view across Samys production skills. Then on to Sean Dodd aka Reflecs remix where he does what he does best. Sean slams his foot down hard to create a typical Reflec sounding low end that slightly features the melodic synth work from Kmyle.
There is also a fine digital bonus track featuring on this release. 'Distant Rave' is something that can stand alone on any platform. Keeping this a bonus or secret track is something that suits this very unique production. More

Reggie Dokes - Universe Speaks
With 'Universe Speaks', Reggie Dokes is at the helm of the third release for Still Techno. He is one of the best (and one of our favorite) producers to come out of Detroit and his discography is as massive as his own legendary label Psychostasia Recordings. It is rare for Reggie to drop 4 deep techno tracks on one serving but here we are. All tracks featured on 'Universe Speaks' are an ode to the dancefoor and Detroit, where melodies, jazz, percussions and real electronic music collide to create a new and subtile soundscape.
