5 heat-seeking cuts, rattled with adrenaline and gnawing feedback, set Nikki Nair's "Singular Vectors" on course for pure obliterated electro. Incubated in a time similar to the lab sessions of Singular Values (TP009.5), "Vectors" continues on that raw-live energy, topped off with a thermal rave remix by Jensen Interceptor.

Something never heard before from man of the moment Nikki Nair (or anyone else, for that matter): Whimsical glitchpop-blues with Nikki singing full vocals for the first time on record - lamenting the 9-to-5 struggle, yearning for summer &
getting fucked up on the beach.
The idiosyncratic, strangely addictive original comes with a b*nging remix from Stockholm avant-techno ledge Peder
Mannerfelt going full chaotic evil mode, warping Nikki's vocals into a menacing call to arms for the modern hedonist.

Nikki Nair - Donut Time
Atlanta resident Nikki Nair invites you to join his new 4 track EP on Astrophonica - ‘Renormalization Support Group’. It’s a place where we can share our experiences via the help of Nikki’s special ‘not quite sure what you call it’ bass lead Electro Breakbeat programme.
Track one is ‘Plug’ - An uptempo low slung booty shaker which will have sound engineers scrambling at cables and faders trying to work out wtf is going on. We’ve all been there so let’s talk about it.
Track two is ‘Where Are U’ and encourages us to ask ourselves that question through the exploration of full speed Breakbeat Electro. If we know where we are, we can begin to look into where we are going. Probably the dance floor.
Track three is ‘it's NP-Complicated’ which sets out an uncomplicated blend of bubbling bass and simple sympathetic drums, providing us with a network to feel more empowered and to build a sense of community.
Track four is ‘Donut Time’ - Well done for finishing the course! You can congratulate yourself with a donut full of squelchy acid jam, glazed with frosted pads and hi hat sprinkles.
“Together we can help ourselves be alone together.” - Nikki Nair More

Nikki Nair - Want To You
We continue our special Dirtybird White Label Series with an artist that embodies what the eclectic new platform is all about, Nikki Nair - A brilliant producer and wildly musical mind. The "More Is Different" EP is full of eclectic and unique productions. The lead track “It Goes”, seamlessly changes mood and direction from gnarly, contorted bass to angelic melodies. “Socket” boom-baps it’s way with square synths, frenetic beats and pensive keys, while the live drum kit, guitar and warped vocal on “Something” are unexpected, yet refreshing, elements to the anodic track. The EP rounds out with “Want To You”, a fast-paced and frantic piece of work influenced by juke and ghetto house, perfectly encapsulating the sound of the series and Nikki’s immense talent.

Banoffee Pies Records continue their original series via a solo EP from Nikki Nair of Knoxville, Tennessee with "Number One Slugger". A white label 12" showcasing the diversity of Nikkis bass infused productions across a range of tempos, opening with the drum heavy DJ tool "Super" with jungle swing and a vocal hook to partner. The A2 sees the appearance of the "Slug" in a siren blaring bass rhythm strictly for dance floor usage pumped with electro distortions.
The B side introduces a more mellow mood following in similar ilk to his latest Morphism release on Gobstopper Records last year which initially caught our ear. The B1 sees "Salt" drop the tempo to 120bpm for a more intricately arranged array of swirling hi hats and toms and a flowing dub infused vox. The B2 flaunts an array of pulsating basslines and ASMR whispers with "Fidelity" in the more spooky insert of the bunch before the release comes to a close with "Stotch" on the B3. A track perfect for any closing or opening set, heavily tripped with ethereal notes and subtle percussion, a conclusive ending to this 5 track EP. Best consumed late. Much love BP x More

Nikki Nair - Nexar Part II
Nikki Nairs latest release for the new label Muy Muy Limited, based between Mexico City and Ponderosa CA, is a rich and textured testament to his ever evolving production abilities. Evoking feelings of fireside reflection, this 6 song EP flows from rich ambient orchestration to hypnotic hymns and rhythmic instrumentation ,while maintaining an overall feeling that evades description. This all seems fitting for the first release on a label the was born in a remote cabin high up the Sequoia National Monument.

The punk anarchists Any Act return to Tram Planet with a 5-track slaughter, Viebe Po Bratski. Picking up from where they left off with their previous release, Ne Boyat'sya, they draw from the sweatiest corners of the club to deliver an electro EBM beat down. The opening heater 'Gypsy Man' brings other-worldly sounds to a punishing electro breaks hybrid. In case you weren't awake, 'Nahuy' summons the distorted depths of screaming vocals and sub splitting kicks for a wake up call. 'Amo Delphino' raises the stakes with whispering samples and crunching rhythms while the rave punk anthem of 'Mabe' rattles the rafters of the club. The closing 'Amo Delphino' remix by Cardopusher combines the hardest elements of the EP with a KO finish with this EBM killer that can only be pulled off by a producer of this caliber. More

FBK has been pumping out releases since 1994 as a staple in the midwest. Under aliases The Sleep Engineer (Xplor) and Powerhouse on The Acid Junkies' the Acid Life, he has been a shapeshifter with a steady stream of minimal, pure motorik pulsations that embody that Midwest Freak power. Measured yet transcendently driving - a mind-bending wormhole that weaves dark introspective turns into the unknown, Think For Yourself covers a diaspora of modes for the floor - all while encapsulating the energy of his live sets that we know and love. Topped off with a subterranean remix by undeniable icon Marcel Dettmann - a huge honor to have his name grace this release. More

Any Act's Ne Boyat'sya EP unleashes an endurance test of annihilated techno. Punk blood runs red across the 5-track EP of unrelenting no-fucks-given energy and adds to an already thriving community of like-minded Russian brethren. It is here where Any Act builds upon this fertile ground and forges new bounds of invigorated punk techno and EBM.
Take the eponymous opening track - a bare-knuckled anthem of distorted guitars and thrashing drum-set fills that evoke the days of swinging sweaty elbows in those dungy, DIY punk shows. Building off this heat-induced energy, "Moskva-Baghdad" carves out an acid bath of hi jinks, mother tongue vocals on top of world-conscious sounds. The pain only gets more brutal as "If You Didn't Know" enters the ring, with its Memphis rap-tinged and gritty EBM aesthetics - the track powers through with pumping cruelty. "Korean Ride" touches upon the untapped corners of ice-sharp electro with an undercurrent of esoteric, yet melodic, sensibilities. To close out the release, "Drug Dealer's Accountant" weaponizes the elements for an effective club banger - a submerged sub bassline, surgeon-precise vocal cuts and gut punching rhythms for a KO finish. In other words: ?????? ?????????? ?????. More
