A foundation Drum and Bass artist, Dom's productions have retained their distinctive identity as his music progressed through his storied career for most of the genres most influential labels. Dom has made his fair share of the most important records in the genre and continues to do so with his dedication to the craft unwavering after 30 years.

Dom & Roland's award-winning debut LP is remastered and recut for a 2023 edition which adds an extra plate with the two Dom & Optical Tracks - Anaesthetic & Time which were not on the original pressing. More

Dom & Roland was amongst the first to help Over/Shadow kick into gear back in 2020 and, since returning with another 12" last year, a collaboration with long absent legend DJ Crystl, now comes a fully-fledged album. Those following matters closely on the Over/Shadow site will have had the chance to nab a copy of the album with this bonus 12", but for the rest of us, the double-drop of 'Eminence' and 'Time To Change' is now available as a standalone 12". It's brooding and dramatic, offering a cinematic vision of what d&b can be in the right hands, and who better than a seasoned pro like Dominic Angas? More

Dom (and his Roland s760 sampler) was once described by seminal magazine NME as the "Ridley Scott" of drum and bass. His epic early records helped form the blueprint of the scene today.

Originally releasing on No-U-Turn in 1994 and credited as one of architects of "Tech-step". Dom was signed by the legendary Moving Shadow label in 1996 where he released 3 solo albums and a plethora of singles becoming their most prolific and influential artist in the history of the label.

Well known for his early alliances with school friends "Optical" and "Matrix", Dom started his own label DRP (Dom & Roland Productions) in 2006 to collaborate with like-minded artists. Now 15 years in with an enviable roster from "Noisia" to "Amon Tobin" it is now the main home of Dom's work.

Both of these tracks play to Dom's epic nature and have been highly requested since they were teased late last year on socials. Fur Coats Knickers and Gold harks back to the 70's era, with a funktastic intro leading into some heavyweight slap subs. Drive me Crazy again has a 70's Style intro before a barrage of tearing live drums and warping bass is unleashed.

Lost in the Moment is Doms 7th Album. In his own words "I wanted to make an album that gets back to the core of the elements I love about drum and bass. The timelessness of simple tracks! A sense of being lost in the subtlety of evolving soundscapes, rhythms and loops which hint at more complex detail and emotions. These are the things I find harder to find in this era of instant gratification and easily consumable music."
Dom's previous album Last refuge of a Scoundrel was signed to Metalheadz in 2016. It sold out on its first day. Mixmag gave it 10/10 and named it album of the year. It was runner up in DJ Magazines "Best of British" category across all genres.

Mando is one of Doms closest friends. He has been writing music for over 25 years. A gardener by day, he shuns the limelight and has always maintained writing music is his secret hobby! He had a studio in the room next to No-U-Turn in the 90s which was eventually taken over by Optical and Edrush.
Until fairly recently he never released anything! He has an amazing ability to create sick grooves, his style is raw and refreshing and not over produced like a lot of modern music. If i had to pigeonhole his style I would say 90s neurofunk.

Both these tracks play to his strengths. This is his first release on vinyl, so will become collectable!
