"Primavera": blossoming in the cosy home studio set somewhere in the idyllic hilly landscape near Frankfurt, this second long player released on Basti Grub´s very own imprint Hoehenregler is his spiritual homecoming. A musical renaissance flow(er)ing on the fertile ground of Basti Grub´s imagination, "Primavera" invites to step into the magical, introverted world of mantralike techhouse… and guides the listener atmospherically through nine handcrafted mind- and bodymoving gems jammed with exhuberance, life, imagination, instruments and vocals. Tracks like "Holding On" and "La Paz fluctuate in a different rhythm, colors and perception shift and set the pace for beloved jungle house party moments: recorded somewhere between Kenya and Chile, sounds, voices, drums and instruments were meticulously collected and polished to play a very special role somewhere on this homogeneous journey. Befriended artists like Andres Zarzuela and Daria who has worked with Basti Grub on quite a few occasions, turn singers and, with their voices and songs, add on to the special vibe of the album. Basti Grub loves to dabble with out-of-boundary sounds, styles and rhythms, rare track titles and surprising combinations, making the exotic sound domestic and the domestic cool. His forthright, joyful attempts to take the seriousness out of the contemporary music scene do not stop him from sounding seriously solid, creating multi-facetted tracks that do not seek to be fashionable but reflect deep playfulness and sincere personal pursuit of expression in a contemporary manner. Desolat are proud to present Basti Grub.
Basti is a young talented German producer and label owner from the vibrant Frankfurt area. His musical journey begins at the age of 14 with a birthday present - an Roland MC303 - and since then Basti Grub shapes his musical vision day and night. He regularly sent beats and tracks to Dice who tested them on the road. After a while we had a collection of tracks for a nice 12" and we simply had to share this music with you: modern groovin' house with influences from all over the place. The 12" comes on colored vinyl with fine artwork by our man Florian Pohl and will remain a collectors item.

Welcome to the dixie Jungel, the first album from Basti Grub is not only characterized by its versatility, rather it consists of two components. The first part of the total work of art the Jungle Orchestra is dominated by African vocals and Afro-beats, the second part is the organic sound of the Swing through the 30s and is so minimal bridge to the two labels treble controls and regulations of the bustling Producers. However, Latino and Balkan rhythms, guitars, vocals variations of various support Grubschen drum fanfares, even a film equal to one to believe you can actually stand in the jungle before the orchestra said, just to the next track in the middle of a big band tribal dance celebrate. A homogeneous album which different ethnic music styles to a consistent, faithful to its style, and combines coherent whole than Earcandy with one of a live big band rehearsed opening track.There are 10 tracks on the double vinyl, including the long-awaited "El Latino", plus "Wenn ich an die Kosten denke Part 2" (If I think of the cost part 2)-
