For years, Rhythm Buro and Zadig have maintained a special relationship. The French DJ and producer (real name Sylvain Peltier,) became involved with the Ukrainian institution when he headlined their first party in Kyiv back in 2014. In the few years since, both Sylvain and Rhythm Buro have developed into strong international brands that have become well-known and trusted. They are thus ready to present another form of collaboration: Zadig's debut record on the Kyiv-based label. "Takara-machi" EP is the sixth release in Rhythm Buro's catalogue, following previous releases by Haze, Na Nich, Cyspe and a few VAs on the imprint.

Tresor.283 unveils yet another exceptional debut EP, this time from the hand of Zadig. The head of Construct Re-Form had already been initiated to the Tresor catalog with the inclusion of 'Panic' on the 'Demo Tracks #2' compilation, in 2013. With 'The Stellar Hunter' he delivers three tracks rich in tradition, matching impeccably to his style, arrangemental magic and masterful set of technique. Between elongated synth pads, high-frequency blips and reversed kick drum sequences coupler with deep hypnotic bass lines, Zadig proves to be the talented recipient of an illustrious heritage in techno, carrying it forward with modern application.

ZADIG is back on his own imprint with three nervous and raw tracks. He founds two of them in a “Rush” folder, and after a few months playing those two tracks all around the world, he decided to release the package under the title of “Lost Tape” with an additional Jam as a bonus beat. Tape 1 is a banging and hypnotic long track, with a frenetic synth and explosives hats.Tape 2 is more dirty, with distorted synth and crunchy beats. Tape 3 is a bonus Jam, made with machine drums only.

V.A. - Gate146
Following Rhythm Buro's debut release last year, the Kiev-based label has returned with a successive RB002. In a similar vein to their first release, this release features Vero and Na Nich as well as a welcome addition from an up-and-coming Ukrainian producer, Lobanov K. A2 finds a remix from the notable and much-applauded 'DJ's DJ,' Eric Cloutier. Sonically, the record ranges from deeper, housey motifs and dubbed-out techno ventures on the A-side to electro-esque and slightly weirder break-beat expositions on the B-side.
'Salute' is Vero's debut as a solo artist and to commemorate the occasion, the track gets a proper rework by one of techno's prominent underground heroes, Eric Cloutier. The A-side represents the deeper side of what RB002 has to offer, and both its tunes prove that the record could become a long-living staple of a house DJ's record bag as well as a techno head s. The B-side takes a different turn: Na Nich's offering is a track reminiscent of his drum and bass roots, with similar ethos of space and break, yet paced to appeal to the contemporary techno dance floor. Rhythm Buro newcomer Lobanov K. gives a fine example of an explosive and spaced out electro-bomb, the old-school homage here is clear yet the tempo and final touches are indeed contemporary. Gate146 is a future classic, it won't come as any surprise when we hear this one in the sets of some of the most More

Sales Note
To celebrate their 10th release, Rhythm Buro, the Kyiv-based lablel, collective and party initiative, has prepared a rather special compilation entitled 'There Will Be Light'. The compilation focuses on deep listening, chill-out and ambient music, which encompasses the team's diverse approach to music, which can be experienced at their events and on their label. The idea behind 'There Will Be Light' was born several years ago as a concept for providing relaxing sounds, to invoke a sense of peace and calm, in headphones on the street, in the subway, at home or in the car. This notion is all the more pressing as Ukraine is being ravaged by war; the objective of this release feels all the more relevant and important. Rhythm Buro believes that everyone, everywhere, deserves to have the instruments to help them achieve a peaceful state of mind and they hope that through listening to this release, it can help them do so. Sales Note
Vera Logdanidi is one of the founders of Rhythm Buro and has been a key component of the label and parties series' development and success. Today we're excited to announce her first-ever solo release with an EP entitled 'Banksia'.
The Ukrainian artist's music career has spanned over the past 20 years, this is her first release on the Rhythm Buro label in 6 years. Her roots stretch back to the bass scene (which at times are rather palpable), but more recently she's been hard at work honing her craft under the house and techno umbrella. The Rhythm Buro project was founded by Vera, along with Oleksandr Pavlenko (aka Na Nich) and Igor Glushko (who runs the label offshoot of the project), Vera now steps up to highlight her own expression and vision of deep dance music with 'Banksia'. After previous appearances on labels such as Semantica, On Board Music and Corridor Audio, she has developed a signature set of soundscapes that can be attributed to her productions: deep, dubby, ethereal and trippy, with lush wide open spaces; yet notably polished and genre-agnostic. On the EP, Logdanidi has three original works and a remix. The title track on A1 is a great sample of Rhythm Buro's endeavored sound; groovy and hypnotizing. Following the A1 is a track called 'Root System', which continues this theme with a bit of a brain melter that showcases Vera's love for all things dubby. 'Essence', the B1 on the flip side, takes the listener on a journey through Logdanidi's housier side yet continues the theme adeptly. Closing the record, and bringing it to its logical conclusion, on B2 is a remix from deep techno maestro, Claudio PRC. Having played at one of Rhythm Buro's events in Kyiv previously and being a like-minded individual turned friend, Claudio is poised to make his debut on the label as well. A perfect match indeed! Release Note
Next up on the Kyiv-based label comes from a very promising, up-and-coming Ukrainian artist, Vladimir Gnatenko. Following his live set last year at the collective's arguably most-loved event, Natura Festival, his debut EP for Rhythm Buro entitled "Sacrim" is already being awaited with great anticipation.
Vladimir Gnatenko is one of the unsung heroes of the Ukrainian underground dance music scene today. He is known for his sonically diverse live sets that range from ambient sketches and 4/4 trancey techno to, most notably, an apt selection of breakbeats. The latter often includes both more downtempo style laid back grooves in the 100-bpm range as well as more massive breaks that serve the dancefloor with purpose. For a few years, Gnatenko has been a staple of the parties that Kyiv is notorious for, he is a resident of the world-renowned and prestigious local club, Closer, and has been featured in the line-ups of local festivals and raves like Strichka, Brave Factory and Cxema (where he played live for a collaboration with Boiler Room). Discography-wise he began releasing on local labels like Progressive Future, but not long after expanded his legacy with vinyl releases on Twig (Germany), Animals On Psychedelics (UK) and now our beloved Rhythm Buro.
The record is composed in the vein of Gnatenko's live sets. It is rich with beatless music, yet also serves those seeking Vladimir's signature breakbeats. Both sides of the record start with ambient tracks, "Lomerigheid" on the A side, and "Sterfdatum" on the B-side, that then progressively merge into melancholic and beautiful tunes representing the producer's main craft: trippy downtempo breaks. The EP's title track "Sacrim" is as fitting for home-listening as it is for those certain sacred euphoric moments on the dance floor. The B-side's "Jerrata" is a slow burning tribute to a nostalgic era of psychedelic, bass-heavy downtempo. The record is full of emotion, contemplation and originality that are executed in the fashion of an artist very in tune with their craft, it all makes for a very welcome addition to the already diverse set of releases from Rhythm Buro. Rhythm Büro's second VA release comes together as something of a legacy of doing parties and running a label for nearly 6 years. While the Ukrainain founders and core team is three members, the extended collective is composed of DJs and producers who've often played the parties, fans and friends alike from around the world. This EP is a celebration of that community: the Kyiv-based initiative has brought a handful of the parties' friends together for one beautiful four-tracker. After a run of solo EPs in their catalog by the likes of Zadig, Haze, Na Nich and Cyspe, Rhythm Büro's 7th release includes such artists as the Italian duo a_000, their compatriots Orion, one-half of Artefakt, Lapien, and the up-and-coming French techno prodigy, Hydrangea.
