Matrixxman - Tango Down
The Planet X invasion continues... The third release is the most-awaited EP this year featuring the Matrixxman himself. According to the Alien Council, it is his best EP so far. It contains four tracks of serious icebreaking soundscapes, running trough the listener's veins by freezing the complete solar system with a coolness. Starting the process is A1 with the fall-out Syren track called ‘Hong Kong Day’ played exclusively in the Matrixxman Dekmantel Boiler Room set last year, now finally being released for the hungry trainspotters who have been waiting for quite some time. Next up A2, the second installment of the Hong Kong- the Night version- the most spooky-sounding spirit-catching meltdown of a track. It is reminiscent of a lethal death scene in a brutal manga cartoon, where the Iron eagle flies over the lands looking for prey. On the other side- B1 starts with the track ‘Power Drain’ featuring his label mate-Exos- definitely the festival track of the release which then takes the listener to the breakbeat part of town in the final track called ‘Tango Down’ on B2. This is where the real Matrixxman signature strikes with raw, dirty rave bass turning it back and forth, finishing the EP with some analog screams. The Planet X continues tearing through the galaxy.

Dekmantel regular Matrixxman returns with the third, and final instalment in the Sector series, Part III: Polyphony. In this triptych, the producer from San Fransisco sets out to highlight the key components behind the sounds and style of techno, exploring the range within the confines of a particular limitation. Following Parts I and II, which looked at Rhythm, and Acid, Charles McCloud Duff charters the realm of Polyphony with four, meticulously produced techno tracks, expanding his repertoire of cult, dancefloor music.

matrixxman - The Caravan (Silent Servant Remix)
For his debut on Spectral Sound, San Francisco DJ/producer Matrixxman presented a strong and versatile four track EP, Amulet. Rich with analog ideas, the EP explored his interests in deep Chicago moods and with techno futurism. StuxNet follows the futuristic path Matrixxman has carved out with two new acid-leaning cuts: StuxNet I and StuxNet II paired with two Amulet EP stand-outs, Venetian Mask and The Caravan, remixed by Hieroglyphic Being and Silent Servant.

matrixxman - The Caravan
For his debut on Spectral Sound, San Francisco DJ/producer Matrixxman returns with a strong and versatile four ?track EP. Amulet is rich with analog ideas, and explores his interests in deep Chicago moods juxtaposed with techno futurism. Having previously made a name for himself in 2013 with the well received, underground hit The XX Files, his drum machine-laden rhythm tracks, and melodic experiments have enchanted the hearts of elite dance music tastemakers left and right. Using a number of classic Roland pieces for this release, Duff fluctuates between bouncing house rhythms and hypnotic techno. Most notably of the latter style is "The Caravan," with hefty, driving syncopation under scrubbing, distorted hints of melody that fit in perfectly alongside Audion and Spectral itself. "Venetian Mask" goes deeper with a hint of restrained jacking, calling up summer Sundays and setting up for "Enter Me," an infectious balearic excursion that will stick in your head for days and shows off Duff's ease with composition. Finishing off the Amulet EP is "Scimitar," which leans closer to a UK style of dubbed out bass coupled with an estranged yet futuristic touch of deep house.

Lafontaine - Dehumanized (Matrixxman Remix)
The first explosion into 2020 from the Planet X marvel is finally scheduled for space in mid-February. Musical progeny from the depths of the planet, better known as Lafontaine, who has been preparing custom smashes specifically designed to counteract the degrading and demolished virtual reality that seems to make the Earth's uplifting generations destitute. Those generations who have little or no ability to take on life's struggles and consequently fall into the slavery role in the future. Lafontaine has been given clear answers, along with direct goals to counter this trend. And with this EP called "Dehumanized", Lafontaine comes up with indescribable frequencies, sounds and elusive electric currents to break the prescribed spell for human slavery. With one of the most distinguished space guys in the team, the most trustworthy astronaut of the nebula, Matrixxman as the recorder of this important EP, nothing can stop it from breaking up the sins of the universe and its intrigued intention to make the future generations a selection of paltry runts..

Matrixxman - - Flexxin On Hoes
The next Planet X invasion is underway! Four mutated and banging hybrids have joined forces for the ultimate techno takeover. First up is Q-Cumb, a former vegetable farmer from the southern parts of Iceland known for excellent cucumbers. Since he fled his homeland he has gained a notorious reputation in the world of electronic music all over the world. He is known as Odinn, cucumb45, Bbbbbb, kid mistik, slurp gurken, icelandic lamb, orange juice man, gurk, q-cumb, holidayboy slurp and last but not least, Bjarki. His track, Dreamers, is considered the track of the year by those who have experienced it on the dancefloors of the united consciousness. Lafontaine was spawned on the Icelandic highlands and channels Icelands musical energy through his earthy connections. His tune, Ailenated, describes his existence where he fights on a daily basis to combine his music with his daily life. The result is a musical outbreak consisting of terrestrial techno with an experimental feel. ThizOne cooks up the electro-mixture Bolt which is a political anthem that describes his anger towards Icelandic politics. Recently the Icelandic government has been brainwashing the population using corrupted electronic waves. ThizOne's track is an attempt to counteract these terrible acts of treason to our people. Matrixxman, one of the team members of Planet X, throws forward an Acid banger called 'Flexxin On Hoes' that will most definitely tear up the dancefloors of the galaxy.
On the next Planet X release Matrixxman will twist and turn a remix from Lafontaine and mutate that bitch into a nuclear nugget for the future. In other news the Planet X master himself is conjouring his own ep, his first in a while that will see the light of dawn later this year.

exos - Bingo (Antigone Remix)
Discovered, curated and managed by Exos, Planet X is the latest discovery in our solar system. Little is known about this mystical planet other than that it radiates sound waves on the rougher side of the galactic spectrum. This first release comes from Exos himself where he fuses together old and new material with remixes from his astro pals, Ben Sims and Antigone. The release takes off with an old 90’s Exos track which is then warped and mixed by Ben Sims in his signature hardgroove style. Next in orbit is Bingo, a brand new track for interstellar clubbing that sounds like a country theme where Exos sampled a live guitar from his father’s rock band. The outcome is a dark and raw mixture of a 909 beat with a dark space cowboy riff from the blackest hole of our galaxy. The Antigone remix takes us near the event horizon where there is absolute chaos between dimensions. The second release from Planet X will launch off next autumn with fellow space cadet Lafontaine on a 4 track storming missile and signs off with a nuclear remix by the one and only Matrixxman. Start the countdown for our journey to the center of the galactic dancefloor!
