No Spiritual Surrender, AKA Spanish techno producers J.C. (Deeply Rooted/Tresor) and Kastil (Esperanza/Wilson Records) return for a four-track EP following their self-titled, debut album late last year.
A1 'Ez Du Axola' portrays rampant synth based percussion, dominating the mix while A2 'The Shakes' is a paranoid, DnB roller for the eyes down crew.
For more pleasant surprises, flip for the B1 'T.Y.S.R.' which is an abstract and disjointed collage of radio samples that massage the ears, before B2 'XXX' closes out with distorted kicks that have enough torque to shatter any system. More

Devoted to the art of movement is the first record from NSS (No spiritual surrender) a duo formed by J.C. (AHD co-owner together with Damian Schwartz) and Kastil This E.P. centers it's attention towards electro, but continue AHD's heritage of giving a twist to those 90s sounds that influenced us so much, from early IDM to Detroit, all is present here. The opening track is is the one that gives the EP it's name, an acid stomper build around an electro beat that builds up and down fiercely. The track maintains it's tension throughout it's whole length by building strings and arpeggios over it's acid sequence, never transferring it's beat to a straight kick, capturing the attention since it's first second. 'Proposed Playground' is build around a more steady electro beat, strings and sounds merge themselves around the beat to create a beautifully hypnotic piece where where some background melodies tickle our ears bringing memories from IDM golden years. 'Zero One' is closing track, without leaving the electro rhythms the defined the whole EP the track is build around a phrenetic synth sequence that sets the path for the whole length, rhythms are rough and strong and it's syncopated hitting adds emphasis on that frenzy atmosphere since it's first second till the last. Synth wizard, soundtrack composer, and Zombi member, Steve Moore expands further on his stark and drama filled cosmic sound with a new six track lp. These tracks call to mind to his early-L.I.E.S. releases, where Moore focused on cold arppegations and basic beat constructions to fuel his epic productions which center around pristine soaring synthscapes. A master of the genre, Moore gives us an equal mix of explosive, creepy home at the end of a dark street floor fodder as well as slower tempo cosmic headcrushers, all capable of getting your head or niteclub in a frenzy. After her debut on Mannequin in 2019, Dissemblance now arrives on L.I.E.S. with her second full length of sombre, cold wave and emotional bedroom pop infused songs. This time around we hear the Parisen artist add a new arsenal of instrumentation to her repertoire, incorporating live drumming and a wide array of synthetic instrumentation on top of her drum computers providing a backdrop to showcase her stark vocal performances throughout the album.

Meticulously constructed, this record displays the full range of Dissemblance's musical dynamics as she pulls the listener into her universe where dreams and reality tread a thin line, one blurring into the next with no beginning nor end. Heart Stopper is undoubtedly the "dance" record that reaches back to the early days of his L.I.E.S. Records label where artists such as Delroy Edwards, Steve Summers, Traxx, and Svengalisghost all came together digging into the primitive, foundational sounds of original Chicago, New York, and Detroit House music putting it through a contemporary lens.

Recorded between 2019-2022, this lp is the culmination of many years of Morelli honing his craft, from digging and studying old records, to focusing and sharpening his production techniques, the L.I.E.S. boss has delivered an album that is a testament of his true love and obsession of the genre, with "Heart Stopper" being the record to cement the now iconic L.I.E.S. legacy even further.

In the often shapeshifting world of modern dance music, "Heart Stopper" is what a House record should be. Full of passion and unfiltered emotion, uplifting at moments, pensive at others; with raw, jakin' drum programming, big basslines, and anthemic synths driving the release throughout.

Turning a new chapter with a new alias, techno stalwart Anthony Parasole delivers his FULL EFX project. The New York City artist known for his work on OsGut Ton, Dekmantel, and his own imprint The Corner, now makes his debut on L.I.E.S. Records.

While the backbone of this project is rooted in the structural ideas of traditional techno, we now hear Parasole expand on his past sound in a refined manner with acute attention to detail throughout these new productions. Most notably is the repeated use of processed "vocals" on the recording which serves a psychedelic element that drives many of the tracks with haunting results. Tempos push and pull from lightspeed 140 bpm club cuts to 89 bpm pseudo-dancehall to the broken beat closer "Scared to Death" with its chopped vocal, sizzling percussions and industrial crunch, all tracks taking their own persona. With FULL EFX, Parasole expertly puts forth an lp that brings together and transforms the many sounds of modern electronic music in a unique and laser focused fashion with his new vision. More

Prolific and often nomadic label boss, producer, and studio engineer, Tony Price (Maximum Exposure) has been making a name for himself over these last years, as he's lurked in the shadows while moving from city to city around the world, leaving a unique and wide-spanning musical mark in his wake.

Jasmin Mahmic, (who is also known for his Le Chocolat Noir project) returns with his absolute blackened industrial onslaught straight from the depths of the Balkans.
