Monnom Black presents Legacy, an introspective look through the storied career of legendary German electronic artist, Thomas P. Heckmann. For the 1st time ever, Heckmann pulls together a lifetime compilation looking back through his multiple alias' and timeless tracks in one release, including those of Knarz, Age, Heckmann, Skydiver, Spectral Emotions, Purple Plejade, and the infamous DRAX (which celebrates it's 30th anniversary this year)

The release consists of a total of 23 tracks, 17 of them slated across 3 slabs of vinyl with 6 digital bonuses containing the best of Heckmann's underground hits like; Himmel Und Hoelle, Tanzmaschine, Teufelswerk and EBM1, as well as his more unknown gems like Chiswick Days and Parnophelia.

Heckman has flexed his prowess across multiple shades of electronic genres throughout his career, but it's his contributions to Industrial, EBM-Techno, Acid, and Experimental that has earned him his notoriety, and it was in 1994 when he dropped an acid-tinged 'Amphetamine' as DRAX LTD. II that shot him into being recognised as a global super power to be reckoned with.

The German producer released his latest studio album "Body Music" in 2018 on Monnom Black, and later featured on The World of Monnom Black compilations. He now returns to celebrate his Legacy with this special release!

Legacy will be made available on triple vinyl & digital in August 2023

For the first release of 2021, label owner Bloody Mary is launching a new series which aims to blur the lines between EBM, dark wave and acid. The release comes after the huge success of her collaboration with Cardopusher on last year’s Conformity Kills EP, and straight off the back of the label’s 10 year anniversary compilation. Alongside Bloody Mary herself, this 4 tracker features a hand-picked selection of established and fresh artists whose tracks she has been supporting over the years.

Kicking things off on the A-Side is Bloody Mary’s track “Snatch”, followed by the renowned French artist Millimetric who’s welcomed to Dame-Music for the first time with his track “Body Alert” on A2. On the flip we see two more label debuts, this time from Russian artist Meshes on B1 with his track “Roleplay”, while Colombian artist Delectro rounds out the package on B2 with the heavy hitting and aptly named “Panic Rage”.

10 Years of Dame-Music Vol. 2. To celebrate the 10th birthday of her label, Bloody Mary has prepared a two-part vinyl series, handpicking seven of favourite artists to join her on the label.

Both parts in this series feature label favourites as well as new additions making their debut on the label.

Volume 2 sees label debuts from Lady Starlight, DeFeKT and Schacke. Lady Starlight, a renowned live artist and respected producer, delivers the A1 'c one three', and is joined on the A-side by Cardopusher, who returns to Dame-Music following his collaboration with label boss Bloody Mary on the Conformity Kills EP earlier this year.

The B-side starts with Irish artist DeFeKT and his track 'Sini Star', before Copenhagen’s Schacke closes it out with the hypnotic 'Lowest Of Highs'.

Dame-Music strikes back! Tim Taylor & DJ Slip make their debut on the label, featuring 2 remixes from label boss Bloody Mary, and a remix from Jerome Hill.
The story behind the release dates back to 1997, when Tim Taylor spent the whole year in Minneapolis. He built a mobile studio in a rental apartment and collaborated with local modular system freaks Freddie Fresh, DJ ESP, DJ Slip and Rob Williams.
Tim had been sent music from these guys for a few years prior to his stay in Minneapolis, and he was amazed by the amount of analogue gear in their studios - real exotic, rare stuff for the time. During this period they did different jams with these various systems and recorded to DAT with live mixing. In many cases, these were just sketches of stripped down tracks with increasingly unusual bass and live delays.
These recordings were planned as an alternate limited series project to Tim Taylor’s label, Missile, with the plan being to release these experiments under the name "Fear of Music." The aim was to try something beyond what a regular DJ club label could put out.
Fear of Music 01 “Pleasure Unit” was a collaboration between Tim Taylor & DJ Slip. It was originally released in 1998 and quickly became a cult track. At the time it was just a 90's analogue adventure, however it was always intended to return to work on some of these tracks at a later date.
So here we are, 21 years later. Dame-Music proudly presents the original track by Tim Taylor & DJ Slip, freshly remastered by Thomas P. Heckmann at Trope Mastering, including 2 fresh remixes by Bloody Mary and 1 by Jerome Hill.

Ecotone is a project that blends electro, techno and IDM into their detailed and futuristic sound. The Melting Point EP is back on Dame-Music! Following the well-acclaimed Volume 1 last December, which included tracks from KiNK, Thomas P. Heckmann and Bloody Mary, Dame- Music is proud to present Volume 2 of this acid project, this time with label boss Bloody Mary inviting three guests to share the record with her. The photo used in the artwork for this release was taken in Sydney's King Cross district in early 2018, and features street art by Owmag. Thanks to this amazing artist for allowing us to use his work. The Melting Point EP Vol. 2 marks the fusion of four renowned producers including Hardfloor, Josh Wink and Alien Rain and Mary herself. This release is sure to be heard on dancefloors this summer! 4 tracks made by and for acid lovers.
