TONIC004 sees two edits of an amazing 90's house record. A side see's KK and MA chopping up the original to give it a new lease of life with some added dance floor flesh while the B see's the Tuff City Kids (GJ AND PL) manipulate the original into a rave weapon of choice for the savy DJ.

TONIC003 shows label founder Krystal Klear joining forces with a fresh off the boat vocalist in the form of Flex Washington. A two track 12 alongside a crafty Accapella for the Djs showcases a another step in a darker club foundation for the label head merging elements of new jacking R n B on top of rigorous drum patterns all tied together by the romanticism in Flex's vocal tone. The tracklisting of the release was inspired by classic vocal 12's of the late 80's early 90s which is represented by the alternative acid flexing drum-a-pella version of the A side alongside a 12 inch only bonus of the bare accapella giving a tip of the hat to KK's musical heritage ranging from turntablism to body rocking. Musically this is representing the deeper crevices of the streets that not all of us see...the darker side of midnight.

Barely has the dust settled on the first Cold Tonic, yet label boss Krystal Klear is back already with two more heavy hitters for TONIC002. Building on the foundations of the debut release, ‘Dance 7FS’ shows a darker shadow rarely seen in previous Krystal Klear music. Moving into lights out, eyes down territorywith the driving breaks of West End disco, this is KK stepping into his own. ‘Fumer Tue’ features ‘Relics’-esque string laden melancholy but never ever goes fully PG. This is R-rated lovers music and, if the feedback is anywhere near the mark, could easily go straight into last-tune-of-the-night-classic territory for the next generation of dance music connoisseurs.

Smashing into 2014 comes the debut release on Cold Tonic from label boss Krystal Klear. “It’s not about money, not about hoes, not about fast cars, just about the excitement of putting something together from start to finish and seeing what happens with it” In the case of the A side ‘Squad’ it’s about putting out a banger that sees Krystal Klear explore heavier dancefloor sounds, featuring an infectious bassline that slowly creeps in until it decides to grab you by the balls and punch you in the face. Don’t miss out on the switch up at the end that brings things back down to earth gently. On the flip, Tun Valve works as more of an eclectic DJ-tool, straddling the lines between spaced out disco sounds and dancefloor oriented drums designed for the big room.
