Manoo Strikes Again! 2018 was an amazing year for the French-born DJ and producer as he dominated the house scene with the crescendo highlight being voted No 1 Afro House Producer on Traxsource. Very few producers manage to escape the constraints of genre barriers in their work, but Manoo somehow does this with ease. Be it Soulful, Afro, House, Ambient or Techno his musical DNA continues to push the boundaries and interweaves all the right elements. Speaking of DNA his latest production sees him return to Tribe records for vinyl and digital releases to deliver the Kromosome X EP. Kromosome the title track with its thunderous atmosphere manifests a storm in its journey. DJ’s take note, this is the track that takes your dancefloor to the next level. Los Angeles DJ/Producer Jose Marquez’s sound is a result of being brought up around Afro-Latin, Caribbean and other World Music at a young age. Always intrigued by electronic sounds as well, Jose's mission has been to fuse his love of global rhythms with the dance floor. Ankabé delivers just that! The overall message of the song is about peace, ‘Ankabé’ means Unity in Sidy's native language of Bambara from Mali, West Africa. Sidy says “The song is saying…let’s all work together and bring the best in the world”. Ankabé starts off minimally and slowly builds, creating anticipation as the drums start to get louder whilst Sidy’s deep vocal intensifies to an inevitable climax that is sure to ignite any dance floor.
Jose says “Sidy's vocal and drums are the perfect fit. You don't need to know the Bambara language to understand what the song is saying, you can feel it in the rhythm....let the drums speak to you.” Jose burst onto the scene in 2010 with memorable remixes & edits of artists such as Celia Cruz, Nina Simone, Oumou Sangare and many others. On a chance encounter whilst producing in Nashville of all places, Zepherin was so blown away by vocalists he was using to do backing on a project, that he immediately felt inspired to record a new version of Raphael Saadiq’s classic Skyy, Can You Feel Me. Originally used in his sets as an edit, Zepherin had the soulful house community going into a frenzy with hopes for its release. Tried and tested on dance floors around the globe in his sets it’s now primed and ready for release.

And thus beyond the limits of an executive creative artist on the otherwise purely commercial sense what we call in common „beyond imagination“.

"Raw Footage", the latest album concoction of Chicago house legend Ron Trent (Prescription) on his new imprint "Electric Blue" works in the best sense of Stanislav Lem heroes Trurl & Klapauciusals, cruising like those two metal brains frantically invented by the universe of 4/4-Sounds to get insane tracks out of the new material matter located there, and put them together to brand new ones. This trackwerk varies as well as of course between classical Chi-Town to the context of contemporary, epic house dubs and lives in a perfidious manner from the interaction of various computer modules that constantly spits out new and exciting interactions. In the end, the software sings only as digital output of great analog sounds, which may well be understood as a mocking voice to the majority of contemporary Homeboy wackiness formats."Unpredictable" and less "cryptic" might fit here as a keyword excellent, where you kick out of the rough house plant a significant entertainment value must, without the need to posess necessarily the same nerves of steel.
