We present the final part of the our 10th anniversary trilogy. For the A side one of the most iconic tracks from the Tsuba catalogue gets a very special remix from Dungeon Meat. The DM duo of Brawther and Tristan Da Cunha retain the hooks from the original adding a break heavy groove and their own unique touches resulting in a remix that successfully straddles genres and will appeal to a variety of tastemaking DJs. For the B1 Midnight Special, the project comprising Tsuba boss Kevin Griffiths and Justin Drake, deliver Nude Runner which nods ahead towards Disco with a rolling bassline and sampled strings. We present the second of three 12"s to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Deep House legend Jimpster re-edits Galcher Lustwerk's Nu Day, adding his own mesmerising live keys and steering the original into classic deep house territory. Williams Pinball was the first ever Tsuba release back in 2006 and 10 years later Fort Romeau gives us a special remix that stays true to the Italo origins of the original but updates the track for 2016. On the B1 we add a new name to the Tsuba roster with a track from Japan's Roy Comanchero. When it comes to musical output, Roy's approach is very much quality over quantity and his only release to date is for Running Back. Hypba has all the hallmarks of a Tsuba classic centering around a hypnotic bassline and some rich analogue synth hooks, expertly arranged for maximum musical pleasure. Last but my no means least the Tsuba Boss returns with a new track Satori, blending rolling conga percussion with a cosmic bassline and atmospheric fx. Originally released in 2008 'The Lab' is one of the definitive Tsuba releases from the now disbanded Peace Division. The undeniable Peace Division groove which made PD one of the most respected duos in house music is in full force throughout this EP. The beat-perfect arrangements that Drake and Henry were known for are here too but there's an increased warmth throughout with the use of sparse chords, subtly used samples and gentle layering of sounds. Originally released in 2009, this was the final 12" from the now disbanded Peace Division (aka Justin Drake and Clive Henry). Its fair to say that Peace Division were the pivotal UK act when it came to groove lead underground house music, selling over 10,000 copies of their 'Junkyard Funk' debut album alone. Stalwart label Tsuba continues it's journey into eclectic musical territory with its next full-length project, 'Buy The Ticket, Take The Ride', the outstanding debut LP by English dark and dirty disco champion Craig Bratley. For a couple of years now Craig Bratley has been considered as the northern branch of the so-called Scrutton Street axis, which sees producers like Andrew Weatherall, Timothy J Fairplay and Scott Fraser all conjure up apoco-disco sounds in their celebrated London studio. Bratley himself also runs Magic Feet, an assured label that deals in plenty of chugging electronic sounds and Craig has also released on labels like Weatherall's well-regarded Bird Scarer, Is It Balearic? Recordings, Robsoul and Instruments of Rapture.
