Kindred Phenomena marks Mattheis' debut album. After two cosmic EPs on Nous'klaer and a mini-album on tape for Ecstatic Recordings, he now returns to Nous'klaer for his first full story. An album shaped for every occasion: driving from the city to the island, dancing in the living room, or raving at sunset. On Kindred Phenomena Mattheis picks up where he left off: 'Swell' serves as another episode of the prisms, the modular synth excursion of 'Bit Fragments' pushes his arpeggiator solos a step further, and album standout 'Ben_M' provides his most beautiful dance of melodies yet. Ten years after bringing his infamous live sets to the island he grew up, Paul Twin debuts with White Island, investigating further into the community's hidden secrets. Working patiently on his sound, bringing together his great sense of melody with production expertise, he is now ready to share his sounds with the mainland. While the highly anthematic Turbulence, on the B side, has been in the pipeline for years, it is the A side that presents his latest revelation, being his most confident cut to date. Since last autumn it could already be heard on small and big dancefloors all over the continent, quite often standing out because of its heavy drums and magnificent twist in the break. Now that the ISMS EP has provided our favorite dance floors with magico moments and vivid arpeggio's, Nous'klaer Audio presents the second part of their collection of dance floor excursions. For the second release Oceanic presents a ticket to another yet unexplored destination.
