Featuring the legendary Josep Llobell (Oliver’s Planet, Enterprise…) at the controls. “New Hondo” was originally released in 1980 on the Spanish Belter label and in a similar way to Camarón’s “La leyenda del tiempo”, it was an adventurous project where the producers tried to modernize traditional flamenco music. Featuring an amazing studio production (analogue keyboards, synths, disco drums & orchestrations, electric sitar…), it includes the cosmic disco classic “Las Penas”, the psychedelic funk of “Si yo volviera a nacer” and more. Remastered sound from the master tapes, insert with photos and liner notes by Txarly Brown (Achilifunk).
