BleeD's second release of the year is a fourth solo outing for label head Volte-Face, following up last year's incendiary 'You Bury Me' 12". In classic BleeD fashion, the EP features three atmospheric peak-time techno tracks, an ambient piece and an artist-curated remix by rising Japanese star Wata Igarashi, a name synonymous with some of the finest off-centre techno labels, including Semantica, Time To Express and Midgar.

London-based leftfield electronic label BleeD makes a worthy return from a lengthy sabbatical, reinvigorated with a diverse collection of tracks from Berlin-based talent, Lårry. Having previously established trusted relationships with leading artists including Daniel Avery, DJ Nobu and Peder Mannerfelt, BleeD ably assists in delivering on the promise of one of the most notable young talents currently working on the fringes of contemporary techno. Thus far showcased on impeccably curated labels such as Uncertainty Principle, Super Hexagon, Fusion Diagnostics and Awkwardly Social, their flair for surgical sound-design and off-kilter arrangements puts them in good company with equally exciting contemporaries such as FFT and Panarorman/Patrick Conway.
The EP covers a lot of ground across 6 tracks, from the gloomy atmospherics of 'Plunicceteh' and 'CMml CoE3", and the peak-hours stomp of 'systems_component' on the A-side, to the warmer and more uplifting B-side tracks, 'Ria Ilso', 'We Are We Are' and 'Over The Why'. It's a fine showcase of an artist with a broad range of influences who with each successive release is carving out a genuinely unique sound. More

For the first time, Volte-Face's BleeD releases a Various Artists compilation, featuring friends and close family of the label. Named after Joseph Beuys' concept of 'Social Sculpture', which serves to harness collective potential in an attempt to transform society (in some small way at least!), the release features eight different artists who embody the BleeD sound of the last few years of activity - Volte-Face, Rote (Daniel Avery & Volte-Face), DJ Nobu, Peder Mannerfelt, Opuswerk, Refracted, AWB and BLNDR.

The first BleeD release of 2017 welcomes another new artist to the fold. A seriously respected NYC based studio aficionado and close contemporary/collaborator of the BleeD-released DJ Spider, Phil Moffa is also known for working alongside Anthony Parasole and Seth Troxler as well as releasing solo EPs on The Corner, Most Excellent Unlimited and Plan B Recordings. The 'Mass Action' EP features three original peak-time techno tracks, 'Psychohistory', 'Dodecahedron' and 'Decimation', with a remix of the latter by label boss Volte-Face, all primed for peak-time club play.

Rote return to BleeD for a second EP release on the label, the first of 2016. Formed of Daniel Avery and label-head Volte-Face as an 'open-ended' side project, the duo tend to adost an esoteric and experimental approach to techno, expressed in this case with 5 diverse original tracks. As solo artists, Volte-Face has appeared on Svreca's Semantica imprint as well as releasing 3 solo EPs on BleeD thus far. Daniel Avery is a high-profile fixture on club and festival bills, and is soon to be found contributing to the legendary DJ Kicks series. 'EP2' builds on the sound of the duo's debut EP, which was well supported in the underground, and remixed by experimental techno doyens DJ Nobu and Svreca. Featuring two 'heads down eyes closed' club tracks, 'Rote 3 and Rote 4, two ambient excursions, 'Lifted' and 'Sun At Night' (the latter of which would be equally at home on a psychedelic rock LP!) and a lilting melodic closer, 'End Of The Sky'.

BleeD release a second EP of the year in the form of a third solo outing for label head Volte-Face, who also records alongside Daniel Avery as Rote. Recently featuring on Semantica's latest Nonnative compilation, 'You Bury Me' sees Volte-Face further refining his hypnotic, atmospheric approach to techno. The A1, 'Shirime', is dark and trippy, with a brooding atmosphere throughout. Iori's

Limited to 300. A fourth vinyl release for London label BleeD, and a first full EP from New Jersey based DJ Spider, who runs Plan B and Sublevel Sounds, and has also released on The Trilogy Tapes, Killekill and Nord, occasionally in collaboration with Phil Moffa, Marshalito and Franklin De Costa. Spider also featured on the most recent BleeD release, providing a remix for Volte-Face's 'All Grown Up' EP. This release, 'Burning Museums', is said to "represent the loss of knowledge of mankind by the modern scientists who are destroying ancient texts in their attempt to erase history". A tough, direct yet heady EP, 'Burning Museums' features 4 Spider originals, 3 primed for techno floors, and 1 ambient excursion. There's also a remix by BleeD boss, Volte-Face. Eatly support from Svreca, DJ Nobu, Daniel Avery, Tripeo and Zadig.
