SofaTalk is an Italian producer known for his eclectic and genre-blending approach to electronic music. Drawing inspiration from the global underground, nu-jazz, and his roots in Italy, his sound is rich, experimental, and difficult to categorize, yet always engaging. Alongside running his label Cognitiva Records and curating events and radio shows, he continues to refine his style through remixes and collaborations.

His latest project, *The Soul's Code*, released via Oathcreations, is an 8-track album that further explores his unconventional sound. Featuring collaborations with Veezo and Zopelar, the album fuses house, funk, broken beat, dub, and jazz in imaginative ways. Tracks like "Dub Lush" and "The Truth" highlight SofaTalk's ability to craft deeply textured productions, while "Paradiddle," "Complex Journey," and "Around" showcase his playful, lo-fi sensibilities and love for rhythmic experimentation. The album closes with "Magpie Rules," a dreamy, breakbeat-driven finale that captures the surreal energy of the entire release. With support from artists like Fred P, Carista, and Bradley Zero, *The Soul's Code* is another bold step in SofaTalk's constantly evolving musical journey.

Rome based artist SofaTalk draws his inspiration from a melting pot of genres, including disco, funk, neosoul, boogie, broken beat and future jazz. He combines these classic influences with contemporary electronic sounds to form a truely unique style of production. He's also the founder of Cognitiva Records and a sought-after selector.

For this release he creates four deep and laid back original tracks. London-based veteran Kaidi Tatham adds the icing on the cake with a signature broken beat remix.

Exercices de Style opens the record on a smooth vibe with beautiful Rhodes pieces, and complex rhythms. On Telepathic Flute, as the title suggests, a flute lights up the mood, with the help of a saxophone and a guitar. The A side's third track, entitled The Hope Suite, moves towards a more mysterious atmosphere, built up by several tension moments with subtle releases.

The B side consists of two versions of a track called Like a Magpie. SofaTalk's original version combines guitar, bass, trumpet, saxophone, flute, piano chords and drums for a full jazz house session. On the remix, Kaidi Tatham gives the original a funky twist by extending the guitar part, then adding his unique rolling drums and brilliant keyboard improvisations.

It's with great pleasure that we announce Kisk's first LP in a long time, titled 'Jazzyness', which perfectly represents his free spirit as a producer. Jazzyness is a carefree miscellaneous of Jazzy sounds and virtuosities and it's a flawless portrait of his way of thinking music. Every track of the LP is a journey through Kisk's musical mind and a perfect display of his influences: great taste for sampling and a relentless will to find the perfect groove. The result is a rhythmically fulfilling work decorated by masterly written harmonies and tied together by his simple yet striking approach to production. But most importantly, 'Jazzyness' is uncompromising being exactly as it's supposed to be for his creator; it's Kisk speaking his peculiar dialect through his sounds. The eleven track album, mastered on tape by Lopazz, is a real House music research featuring dancefloor bangers, Tribal and Ambient journeys, funky visions and some Brokenbeats too (one of the producer's first loves).
