Following the completely sold out Imagine - A - Nation reissue, Anotherday is very excited to announce a series of releases from the enigma that is Spencer Kincy, AKA Gemini - we are very proud to present Gemini's first 5 releases, lovingly re-mastered and pressed back onto vinyl! First up is Le Fusion. Originally released on Cajual in 1995, Le Fusion pairs Gemini's signature edgy techno tinged house bump with live instrumentation and frantic vocals over 3 untitled tracks in one of his most interesting releases.

Originally released on Relief Records; the Chicago techno label headed up by Cajmere, these releases were Gemini's introduction into the worlds of house and techno, and contain some of his most vital works.
As one of Chicago's most mysterious and revered characters, the story of Gemini, aka Spencer Kincy has become something of a myth in recent years - blazing a trail throughout the 90's, prolifically releasing over 200 tracks from 1994 to 1999, Spencer's music had shades innovation and soul few of his peers could match. Then, suddenly, at the peak of his career, he disappeared.
As before, this album has been licensed directly from the man himself, and the money made from its exploitation will go directly to him.

Throughout the 90's, DJ Bone was one of Detroit's best kept secrets. Releasing only a handful of 12 inches, Bone's eclectic and fast mixing style became popular in his home town, starting with his weekly residency at The Love Club, and gaining more all over Detroit 5 nights a week, as well as fortnightly live sets on Deep Space Radio. In 1996, Laurent Garnier witnessed him DJing, and invited him to play in Paris' legendary Rex Club - a 12" for Juan Atkins' Metroplex soon followed, with a Peel Session, and his 'Subject:Detroit Volume 2' mix CD being distributed worldwide helping to establish him globally as a force in Detroit techno. Anotherday are very proud to announce the reissue of that legendary Metroplex 12"; 'Riding The Thin Line'. From the sweeping strings and tribal loops of 'Shut The Lites Off', to the hissing bassy electro of 'The Funk' and woozy techno of 'The Haunting', this is DJ Bone at the peak of his powers.

After the huge 'Lucky Star Ship' 12" from Moon Man; Anotherday return with their third release. A track that will forever go down in Chicago House history - 'Fear Tha World' by unsung Chicago hero Houz Mon is credited as being the first ever Ghetto House track. Originally released in 1993 on Beat Boys, and despite an awful pressing quality, the original release the has been selling on discogs between £50 and £90 due to it's painfully limited pressing. Ripped from the original DAT, we would like to present 'Fear' for the first time on vinyl in 21 years - and the first time ever on beautiful virgin vinyl!
