CW/A are producers Thomas Feriero and Francesco Leali, known for their releases and remixes on Parachute, R&S, Decca and Vakant, their work as Avatism, Clockwork, Opus 3000 and House ov Leaves, crushing live shows around the globe and running Parachute alongside DJ Tennis since 2013. With ‘Ringleader’ the duo return with their first original productions since their debut full length, last year’s critically acclaimed ‘Words Unspoken, Acts Undone.’ Inspired by global trends towards Orwellian mass surveillance and cyber espionage, ‘Ringleader’ aims to be an audible interpretation of big data, ubiquitous connections and the acceptance of corporate and government spying. Grim and mechanical by nature, the six tracks — named after leaked codenames of government tools used to watch on citizens — work as a soundtrack to the destruction of privacy: a cold reflection on this aspect of society and it’s implications.

British left-field artist Dead Fader returns to Parachute. The new LP, Jenny 153, runs out across nine tracks and operates at the fertile juncture between Classical and Club Music compositional structures, and examines the crossover points between the two disciplines.
Tracklist:
1/A1 - Crash
2/A2 - Fire Storm
3/A3 - Raw Food
4/A4 - FYI
5/A5 - Chromazone
6/B1 - Lightning
7/B2 - Uncontrollable Worm
8/B3 - Life Cycle
9/B4 - Ice Pits
John Cohen aka Dead Fader first arrived on the label in 2016, with It Works 1 - a brace of warping, high energy electronic music compositions that while largely unclassifiable in genre, maintain a gloriously vibrant, emotive sensibility that owes much to early IDM excursions, and the more abstract tenets of the Krautrock genre. That said - the artist cites anything from Kanye West to Bach and back again as informing the decidedly experimental and potentially confounding work - and his latest offering for the Milan based label continues to riff on this open ended mesh of influence to great effect.
The new LP, Jenny 153, runs out across nine tracks and operates at the fertile juncture between Classical and Club Music compositional structures, and examines the crossover points between the two disciplines.
According to the artist, the work deals with themes of acceptance and an “opening up” emotionally - and a palpable sense of catharsis runs deep through the recordings. Colourful and undeniably cohesive, in spite of it’s rhythmic complexity - the recordings present a vital snapshot of the potential space that exists on the periphery of the dance music genre. More

1/A1 - Parallel Window
2/A2 - Disintegration Loop
3/B1 - Solder
4/B2 - Parallel Window (Sigha Remix)
South London Ordnance debuts on Parachute.
The British producer marks his first release of 2017 with Parallel Window, a four track EP featuring three
wrought-iron originals and remix from Token & Blueprint affiliate, Sigha.
Driven and direct, the music marries rolling low end with high energy drum machine percussion and wide
angle highs - for the most part eschewing anxious, heads-down austerity in favour of a more uplifting, trancelike
approach - spread across multiple BPM’s. Despite the heady, crushed finish - shifts in tone are subtle,
developing over prolonged periods, with careful modulation drawing sounds in and out of the sonic hinterland
sporadically to create a comfortable atmospheric balance between peak-time dance-floor urgency and hazy
mid-set moments.
On his remix, Sigha hones in on this sentiment - lifting the caustic lead bassline from Parallel Window and
augmenting it with trademark cavernous low end, skittering highs & a rolling lead arp to create a hypnotic,
half-time dirge.

1/A1 - Rumination
2/A2 - Escape Sequence
3/A3 - Scent Of Decline
4/B1 - Rumination (Lag Remix)
5/B2 - Escape Sequence (Ayarcana Remix)
For the past four years Francesco Leali kept busy running Parachute alongside co-owners Manfredi Romano and Thomas Feriero, producing under different monikers and touring the globe as half of CW/A. Finally back as Clockwork, Leali reveals a five track EP featuring some of his rugged music to date. A briery shift into foggier territories where Leali explores layered sound-design and broken rhythms, something he had only hinted in his previous work.
“Online Entity” depicts Leali’s hindrance with modern society’s social networking obsession. ‘In contrast to what these services were actually intended for’, Leali explains, ‘They seem to have impacted a lot of people negatively, resulting in unnecessary resentments, misinformation and feelings of proximity when these tools can easily alienate you from reality’.
‘Constantly worrying about how you want people to perceive you is absurd already, but for many of us this constant sharing has become the only way to achieve happiness, to be satisfied. In an era where all of this is getting out of hand it’s essential to remind yourself of the things that truly shape you as an individual. With
Online Entity I aimed for feelings of release, mutating resentments into something positive - more physical. I imagined it as a soundtrack to an escape from these very situations.’
The release showcases this approach with five club-ready numbers filled with calculated, pounding drums and gloomy atmospheres, with only rare glimpses of hope scattered throughout.
To round things up we mobilised fellow Parachute affiliate Ayarcana and Serbian Techno pro Lag who both deliver two startling interpretations of ‘Escape Sequence’ and ‘Rumination’.

It's with great excitement that we present Luca Affatato's very first opus dedicated entirely to chairs, one of humanity's most groundbreaking inventions. Affatato, otherwise known as BOP, has been mastering the art of sitting since 1976. While we have yet to truly understand the musical preferences of such notorious objects ourselves, Luca seems to know. Melding post-punk, minimal wave, Melvins, Mike Patton and Boards of Canada all into one big hissy, distorted mess, Music for Chairs is sure to please sitting tools worldwide.
